Absolutely lovely stay at this lodge. It has a really comfy vibe. The owners are a big family of 13, and they are incredibly nice. As an aside, I love the way they speak and their word choice, it reminds me of the 1800s era. The rooms are very reasonably priced and are extremely well furnished and decorated. The kitchen has literally everything you need (eating/cooking utensils, pans, dish soap, plates, cups, paper towels, etc). Each cabin has a gas fireplace that automatically turns on and off. The bed is comfy and the water gets hot quickly. The cabin is also quiet and well insulated. Keep in mind that it's not a housekeeping cabin, so when you check out remember to put the used towels in the bin under the sink, fold the bed so it's roughly neat, and vacuum the ground. I really recommend renting this lodge for anyone who wants to stay in the June Lake area.

It just down the road from the resort. The cabins are cute. The owner is super nice. Just make sure you bring a hair dryer. Each spot has its own kitchen. Which comes with all the plates and such you need. Bathroom wise you'll need to bring everything. Only comes with bar soap and towels.

Still one of my favorite places. It's seriously idyllic. We keep coming back. Clean housekeeping cabins (no housekeeping.) Incredibly well stocked kitchens. Enough plates, forks, every kitchen tool you need. Located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a creek running through. Laundry available at Fern Creek, next door.

1. Great location - conveniently between Mammoth and Yosemite and a lot of amazing hikes/points of interest

2. Clean - the cabin was very clean!

3. Functional - the cabin is small but very well appointed. Every space was functional and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cups, etc. (tip: bring your own cooking spices)

4. Friendly - the family that owns these cabins were really friendly and helpful. Felt instantly at ease.

5. Private & quiet - loved how quiet it was and it was a bonus our cabin was next to the creek/forest so it was very private!

Overall it was an amazing stay. Love supporting small family businesses and it shows that they care about these cabins and making your stay comfortable!

Brought my son up to the “Loop” because this is where my father taught me to how to fish many years ago. So I’m passing on the “tradition”. So far, we’ve stayed at a few places around town, this was by far the best location. Right in the middle of the “action”. 5-7 minutes in either direction you’re pulling up at Silver, Gull or June. Cool little cabins in a sprawling campground, surrounded by tall trees and mountaintop views. Yes, I was even here back in the 80s as a kid on family vacations. Old memories are good. New memories are better. This is a cool little spot. Check it out!

Been going here every year for 30 years. David and his family always come through for us. Great people, great cabins, great location and great prices. It's like renting from friends

I would give them 10 stars because their cabin is comfortable but not luxurious. They don't claim to be anything more than what they are. Awesome family owned business. Love to support them and I will be back there again and again

These cabins are very comfortable, quiet and offer the most well stocked kitchen utensils imaginable. The family is unbelievably kind and welcoming. My fishing buddy Jim F I have stayed many times and god willing look forward to many visits in the future.

Reverse Creek Lodge has individual cabins, spaced out comfortably, so privacy is not an issue. Our cabin was built right next to a tiny stream, so the sounds of gurgling water greeted us, whenever we relaxed on the front deck. Pine trees surround you and add to that peaceful forest feel.

This cabin had all we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay in the June Lake area, not far from good fishing at Gull & Grant Lakes. They had plenty of dishes, pots & pans, an oven/stovetop, coffee maker, 2 soft comfy recliners and a comfortable bed. The shower worked great, and hot water heater provided plenty of hot water for those chilly mornings.

Outdoors on the deck, there's a table & 2 chairs, plus a nice propane BBQ, which we cooked our fresh caught rainbow trout on, and some bratwursts for lunch one day.

Blue jays were plentiful, up in the pine branches. They'd alert other Jays, when food was about, with a shrill call. We saw deer walk right by our cabin twice, during our 3 night stay here. Also saw a Robin, giving itself a bird bath in our tiny stream, one morning.

I'd definitely recommend staying here, should you find yourself in the June Lake Area. This place is run & owned by a nice family, who were extremely kind & friendly. Our property was well-maintained, and it felt like we were camping in a forest, location-wise, though we were provided all the comforts of home. Our cabin even had a TV!

Rustic cabins, great hosts, nice quiet location, close to all in June Lake. If you want luxury, go stay in a big city/Hilton....these rustic cabins are perfect- indoor plumbing with shower, full kitchen, hear, comfy.

I have been coming here for the past 15 years and will continue to for as long as I'm able to. Dave and his family are awesome and extremely friendly. This place has it all and centrally located in the June lake loop. Easy access to everything. Wouldn't stay anywhere else unless I'm camping. You will not regret your stay here. Cabins are all very well stocked. Wifi, cable if you decide to stay in. Can't thank David enough for years of excellent service. I'm a patron for life

The location is lovely and tranquil and our cabin was everything we expected and more. The family are very welcoming and clearly take a lot of care with what they offer. The cabin had a rustic, cosy feel yes, but was also very well equipped and had a really comfy huge bed and gorgeous shower. We even had a smart TV and the best wifi of our long California trip. We hope to return one day.

My wife and I have stayed in the small cabins and the A frames also. They are clean, well decorated, kitchens are stocked for cooking and the area is quiet and beautiful. The owners are a large family that go out of their way to make your stay great. We like the small cabin #8 in the back when its just the two of us. It has a deck and bar b que. The décor is really nice and its by itself somewhat. Try them out, you won't be dissapointed.

The Reverse Creek Lodge is a hidden gem. The Naaden family offer well kept and comfortable cabins/chalets. We have been staying there for 16 years and will always be coming back.

If you want to stay in a cozy cabin in the woods, for either couples or families, you've come to the right place. Not only is the family which owns and runs the property is incredibly nice, but they are very responsive, and caring anytime you need something. When I come to June Lake, Reverse Creek Cabins will always be my first choice. We have stayed in several of the cabins, my favorite is the A frame cabin if you are looking for a fancier version. They also have more basic cabins if you want to save money, but even the basic ones have everything one needs. It is only half an hour distance from Mammoth, so even if you want to ski Mammoth, instead of June Mountain and save money, I would stay here too. Their kitchen has everything that you need, and enough plates and utensils if you want to have friends over for dinner. My kids love to play outside the cabin too, lots of places around to explore.

Fantastic place to stay when you're in the area! The accommodations are always fantastic, as is the service. They even went the extra mile(s) to pull my truck out of Grant Lake when my buddy got it stuck. We stay there every year. It's comforting to know that they take care of you like family.

This little getaway is a great place to stay in June Lake. There are barely any noises to disturb relaxation. It's also pretty cool to see the wildlife. As far as the cabins go, they are warm and very nicely designed. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked with everything you might need.

Clean, comfortable, Wi-Fi access, plenty of parking and great customer service. Fish cleaning area has everything you need; knives, bags, towels etc. I've been coming annually for about 22 years and I've never had a problem once.

We had a very enjoyable time at the Reverse Creek Lodge. The rustic but well appointed cabin #3 exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to go back and stay again. The hosts were fantastic. Highly recommended!
