Edgewood Cafe

A great choice... my first visit.
I liked the Cafe from the moment I entered the door. This was a great experience--very casual yet sophisticated in some casual sort of way. The food was well prepared, no complaints at all.
The service was on-point... they knew how to listen... very perceptive on timing and communication.
Will definitely visit again.

Went with 5 people tonight and every dish was delicious! Don’t leave without getting the mussels! Thank you to the staff for a great meal especially our server! Great job, warm and knowledgeable about the menu. (dined on 3/13)

We booked our office Christmas party here- based on recommendations from friends. And we could not have asked for a more perfect spot! The food was fantastic! From apps to entrees to desserts - just fantastic. The service was awesome. By the time we finished, we were like old friends.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. The Edgewood Café is an understated little gem. The décor is very basic, as is the menu - which is one of the things I appreciated right away. The chef presented a few fresh, locally sourced, select wonderful choices. It was a tough choice between the salmon poke and the baked salmon with a sweet chili glaze... so I ordered both. I was glad I did - both dishes were absolutly delicious. The poke was delicate and tender and with an unami flavor and the baked salmon melted in my mouth with that yummy citrus glaze. The service was lovely and enhanced the meal. The only thing I did not enjoy was the background music selection, but it did not really take away from the experience too much. If you are in the neighborhood, I highly recommend the charming Edgewood Café.

Great little (Cozy) cafe in a little neighbor setting. It's only open 5-9 pm, and seating is very limited (beware). It's BYOB which really helps to cut down costs on any meal you have eating out. The food is just so good, really great ingredients, made to perfection. What a gem this little place is. I love it.

Very small location. Love that's a BYOB and that the food is great. Not huge portions, but nice size plates.

Terrific local spot. Great regular menu but you have to check out the specials board. Plus it's BYOB.
It's a bit pricier than neighborhood places, but they're sourcing the highest quality ingredients and making it fresh. The owner/chef is a JWU alumni, and super friendly. There's usually one waitress, and she's awesome. But if it's slammed, that's too much for one.

The seafood was amazing. Was recommended this place from a friend. Totally pumped top go there again. We had seafood only. Muscles, calamari, and lobster ravioli and I wanted to get another of each. Portions are perfect for the price and it is BYOB! Even better!

Excellent neighborhood restaurant. High quality food, friendly staff, cozy interior. Seating limited. You bring your own drink. If you are in the neighborhood, a must visit. I had the burger and the ginger cupcake. Both were delicious.

Love that it is BYOB. Wait staff was great and food was good. It's walking distance from our house so we will definitely return.

Amazing food. My wife got the fish and chips. "Best fish and chips I've ever had," she says. I tried a bite as well. Crunchy, flavorful batter...moist fish...awesome tartar sauce. I tried some fried oysters and spaghetti with Bolognese sauce. Again...amazing. The oysters were right out of the frier. Crunchy. Oysters had a great flavor and texture. The Bolognese sauce was so delicious. Perfect portions. Great price. Will be going there again for sure.

Simple, friendly atmosphere with Amazing service and even better food!!! If you're looking to have your taste buds blown away.......order anything from this restaurant. Can't wait to go back.
