Visited in November end. Love the experience! Super amazing view! It's a must visit in the winter. Worth the price!

The gondola takes you up to the top of the mammoth mountain And the views and the ride is extremely amazing. The cost is approximately $40 for an adult but it is totally worth it. At the top there was plenty of snow even in the end of May. This is one of the best options to go to the top of the mountain if you are not skiing. At the top there is a Visitor Center and a cafe. Would recommend if you’re in the area. Views from the top are amazing.

This was an amazing service that took us to the top of mammoth mountain to amazing views of the sierras below! Well worth the cost for the ~10 minute gondola ride!

Nice place, atleast once you have to experience this. They take you to top of the hill, oxygen content reduces to around 13% , so breathe breathe breathe more. View is amazing from here, we went in summer so it was just a jumper wearing cold. Kids enjoy this for sure.

$44/person (no food include). It's a bit expensive for me. I got at the top of the mountain in the EARLY MORING (9:30am) during summer and not much people around, there is a short trail to look down twins lake and other mountain peaks.

This is the best option if you are not planing to ski and looking for a family option. Plan to spend some time in middle station McCoy station

Fun outing, beautiful views and hiking at the top. Perfect little restaurant in the village for a sunset.

This is the best view in mammoth, if you have never been dont confuse this gondola ride with the one at the village. if your staying in the village you can take the red line bus for free to main lodge. we stop by after the tube park about 1pm and there was no one inline to purchase tickets, once you have your tickets go across the street to the gondola yes you have to wait inline there but otherwise the wait is minimal. We got there at 1 and were back down the mountain in the main lodge by 3pm dont go past 3 crowds start leaving and the buses get pack after that.
The ride up is beautiful but you will have to share a ride with some people most likely ours were all very nice. We didnt get off in the middle we just stayed on the gondola to go all the way to the top. Once at the top the view on a clear day is breathtaking. We went to the the small cafe it has some soups, hot dogs, meat wrapped in pitas, drinks but not much else dont expect a full seat down meal with waited service, but you can seat down eat and enjoy the views.
It is crowded but most people are heading out to ski so its not bad at all.
All the attendants operating every thing were super nice.
Will definitely be going back.
