Yamato Hibachi and Sushi

Excellent sushi. Very good quality and filling. I ordered the Dinosaur roll and my daughter had the Mr. Fantastic roll. Both were great. The waiter was very nice and attentive. Also the gyoza pork dumpling s were really good.This is my favorite sushi place.

Really great to have a sushi place like this nearby! Rolls are super good. All fresh. White Swan Roll was new for me, and very good! And don't sleep on the sweet potato roll.

I’ve been impressed with Yamato ever since d they opened nearly a decade ago. They’ve been standing on business in that little Smithfield plaza for a long time now, them and D’Angelos. And there’s a reason: Because they’re good. They’re really freaking good. Was never a sushi fan until I started ordering it from Yamato. Now I’m always on the fence between sushi or a hibachi dinner. But it doesn’t matter because they always deliver. Because they’re really freaking good! 🍱 👍🏻

Tried this place for the first time today. I was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be visiting again, the food was amazing, the lady gave us everything perfectly, and it's clean and beautiful in here. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Yamato has the best servers, they are very attentive and you never have to look for them if you are in need of anything. The food is excellent and the prices are great

I really enjoyed the food here. When I ordered my lunch (I had the salmon teriyaki hibachi lunch entree) my only regret was that I didn't order more.

The sushi is awesome as well. This was a favorite of mine while I stayed in Providence for a few months. Great place to dine in also.

The crab rangoon were perfect. I got the dragon roll with eel for my sushi. It was very good. Very fresh. No allergy issues, which is important to me since I'm extremely allergic to shrimp, but no other shellfish. I had no reaction, so their cross contamination prevention is solid. I'll happily become a repeat customer.

First time ever for sushi. Had a wonderful experience!! Fresh and QUICK! Everything was delicious!! Price is on par with area. I had no wait. Place is much busier on weekends. Mai Tais were the bomb!! Had California roll to start easy then Golden Dragon... both were great.. I misread the Dragon.. was shocked it had Salmon on it.. I HATE cooked Salmon... tried it anyway.. WOW!! Was great. I'm glad first sushi was here.. plan on returning often. Place was very clean.. staff was quick without hovering and pestering. Perfect.

The service was excellent. The waitress was delightful and the food was delicious. I have had sushi and hibachi and enjoyed both thoroughly. Would highly recommend. Unless you are a fish, then I'd say skip it.
