Food was simply amazing. Best poutine I’ve ever had. Colleen was super warm and welcoming. Overall a casual rustic feel. My only regret was not leaving room for dessert.

Everything here was ideal. Starting with the location, each table has plenty of room and they were clearly deliberate in the amount of spacing they gave each table. The music was calm, lights were on high enough that you could see but low enough that a clear mood was set, and the place just had a very relaxed atmosphere to it.

The food and drinks were phenomenal. I had the burger, my girlfriend had the chicken sandwich, and we shared the croquettes. The burger was something out of this world, quite possibly the best burger I have ever had. The croquettes I truly think I could have just eaten all night if they kept bringing out more. And the drinks our waiter recommended were very tasty.

Finally, there’s the wait staff. We had Gian, who couldn’t have been better. Friendly, attentive, and made us truly feel welcome and practically at home. Never felt like I had to go find him because he was always on top of everything before I could even notice to ask for something.

Overall an outstanding place everyone should try. I don’t think you could get a bad meal there, every plate I saw looked delicious.

Stunning interior with quiet relaxing music. Food was insanely delicious! Our waiter told us the owners are the only 2 chefs for the whole restaurant but you’d never know because the food comes out so quickly! Gian is an incredible waiter very attentive and personable. All around a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and excellent staff. Will definitely be back!

I should have checked this place out months ago. Excellent food and service. We had the scallops rissoto and the duck udon noodles. Both were excellent. Also had the crispy brussel sprouts appetizer and that was great as well.
We stopped next door for a drink at Cedar Spill after dinner and that place was also very nice.

Walked right in Saturday night, no reservation. Drinks were fantastic. I was disappointed no poutine, apparently it's seasonal. We ordered chorizo croquettes and they were delicious! We had a burger and chicken sandwich, both were great; however the star of the night was bailey's creme brulee...oh my!!! It was so good. We'll definitely be back!

This is a nice little restaurant , tucked away in the middle of smithfield . It’s located about 5 mins off the highway and pretty much near the center of town. The location isn’t the greatest , as it sits near a heavy intersection , and traffic tends to build , but has no effect on what they bring to the table , literally. The inside is very nice , and spacious . I love the detail they put into their craft , down to the paper table cloth with the stamp. They have what looks like 3 areas to the restaurant, but on the same level more or less . The staff were great , especially our server (Diana) , she was awesome. Not only was she professional but she was also very personable. Felt like we were besties by the time we left . The food menu isn’t large by any means , but the menu does change frequently. But what is on the menu as their “ staple “ dishes , are delicious options , and their seasonal specials , are equally as good , if not better. The wings I ordered , may have been the best I’ve had in a long time. Entree’s came out fast , and were delicious in every bite. I was very impressed with the quality of their food, and give sincere compliments to the chef’s . All around a great experience , and we look forward to returning in the very near future!

My wife took me for my birthday dinner. I had steak Fritz and she had chicken and dumplings. The service was amazing and so was the food. Some of the best food I’ve had in the state. 10/10 I recommend!

Finally tried this hidden gem with girlfriends for a night out and everything was absolutely amazing. The food, from the taste to the presentation was extraordinary! Atmosphere was comfortable and service was exceptional! Can’t believe it took me this long to try it. Will be back soon!

Walked-in for dinner on a Monday night - place was empty but a lot of people came for pick-up orders. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Exceptional appetizers (smoked carrot hummus with warm pita chips was the best!) and the chocolate mousse pie was also amazing! Wish we found this place earlier, will definitely be back!

P.S. the photos are from a more recent visit for takeout and I have to say - this place never disappoints!!! So so good.

My family and I really enjoyed our dinner out at this wonderful restaurant in the heart of Greenville. Our table was reserved on-time and was set perfectly. Often the little things are the difference between an average dining experience and a fantastic one. The Cook & Dagger is no exception to this rule. Everything including the table setting, attentive server and goumet cuisine was above par. I had the swordfish, my wife had the salmon and my adult children had the fish tacos. We were all beyond satisfied. The flavour and presentation of the cuisine was tantalizing to our taste buds. Thank you, Ron Ash aka My RV Guy

My husband wanted to try this place for this birthday, and we were blown away. Everything we ordered from drinks, to appetizer, to entree, to desert was fantastic. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Our favorite local restaurant!! Food is always incredible, and they change their menu frequently for the seasons. Drinks are also fantastic - the Some Devil is perfect. Sweet Potato Hummus and Chicken and Dumplings are our current faves

From start to finish, Cook and Dagger was amazing. Friendly staff greeted us and wished us a Happy New Year on the way out. The food was all fresh and delicious!! And there wasn't much of a wait at all. The drinks were also very good!! Will be back for sure!

I remember going here in 2017 when it just opened, the menu was tiny and boring and the atmosphere wasn’t exactly appealing. Now, five years later I event here and the restaurant improved massively. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was incredibly comfortable and welcoming. While the service wasn’t exactly the fastest in the world, the waitress was very friendly and engaging and the whole restaurant smelled amazing. The udon noodles were incredible, with perfectly cooked duck and scrumptious noodles that made me just want to devour the entire bowl. You wouldn’t believe the amount of self control it took to stop myself from eating before I could get a picture of it. Great improvement since 2017 and awesome food, I want to try the brunch menu now to see how good it is!

The food is like nothing from around here!! It’s absolutely delicious!! The owners cook every meal served!! One of a kind restaurant!! And the deserts are the best in the Nation!! If there’s a cheesecake on the menu I suggest you try it because it’s going to be the best you have ever had!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!

Very delicious food and cocktails! Had the Tequila Mockingbird and it was SPICY but I loved it! Also had a scallop special that was 100% on point, the wing special was peach and habanero and was amazing, the beer selection is fantastic! Also loved the roasted brussel sprout appetizer, and the fried chicken sandwich was an unexpected sleeper dish that had an outstanding combo of flavors! Service was safe, everything was very clean, and I couldn't be happier. This was my birthday dinner. Whether you support Trump or not, please understand they have a very "Trump" looking political business with signs next to them and some have thought they were using it as a venue to promote political agendas. I drove by this restaurant for several years and said I’ve got to try it some day. Today was that day. I have to say I wish I didn’t wait so long to try it. The food was amazing, we had chicken and dumplings and a chicken sandwich and again it was delicious. Try it out you will be pleasantly impressed.

AMAZING!! First time trying this restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. Our server was Kelsey. From her exceptional service to the gentleman that brought our food being so polite and well mannered; I think we found our new spot!!!! If you are curious about this establishment do not hesitate!!! You will not be disappointed!!

An amazingly calming atmosphere ideal for intimate conversations in the main dining room or a relaxed more casual vibe in the pub area. The cuisine is of the highest quality from burgers and beyond! Seasonal and changing menu, (not a huge menu but very well conceived and executed). Yummy cocktails.

Excellent choice for foodies who also love a clear commitment to local farm to table and hometown charm. Always wondered about this place! Odd name and kind of right on a busy street (big parking lot in the back though!). Glad we dove in!

Arrived without reservations, the staff was super chill. Duck (confit and roasted!) with udon and choi sum was perfect - broth was a star - unctuous and warming, as well as the pork chop (more of a small roast!) - with a vegetable puree and roasted carrots - absolutely delicious, fun hang, and will be back!

Some good vegetarian options, wheelchair accessible and spacious.
