Mammoth Mountain Inn

Had a really lovely stay here! The hotel staff was super nice and the location simply can’t be beat. We booked this super far in advance so we scored a really good price. The rooms could use some updating but they were clean & comfortable. We loved that they have 4 hot tubs, even on a busy weekend there was enough room for everyone to enjoy. We will definitely be back!!

We had the absolute best time. Excellent location. Great amenities. The staff were amazing and super friendly. The food at the restaurant upstairs was delicious. Loved everything and would definitely make the journey from Australia to go back there again!

We were there a week before the ski season, so cannot attest for any skiing & high-season experience; but everything was great! Cordial welcome from the front desk, staff were kind and friendly, the lobby was cozy and rooms were quiet and clean. The Yoder restaurant was excellent!

Don't think this is a 4 star resort. It's not really designed for that. But this place has character and all the conveniences you could need. Bell service is super helpful. Ticket kiosk in the lobby and rental if needed in the lobby. So skip the main lodge lines. Next is the location!!! Walk to the gondola, Broadway express, or beginner slopes. Highly recommend a loft. A room with a view of the mountiain.

We live this place. It's OG and is quaint and service is over the top. Stay here when rooms are available.

Top location! Neat rooms, good facilities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, parking garage, etc.) and super friendly staff. We had a great time here, even though it was only for one night!

I booked this hotel mainly because of the gondola. Felt that it'd be a good base for us to head up to the mountains for some short tracks. Erm, didn't expect it to still be ski season when we went up in late June so that was a super bonus. It was just amazing to wake up and see the slopes. Rooms were clean and the hot spas were amazing especially when we were freezing in the night. Service was good as well as they were very patient in sorting out the free gondola pass that we should have got with the room.

I requested our towels folded like jungle animals in the booking and they folded elephants. Cute, but more savannah than jungle. 😂 the towels 100% made up for the dated and at times broken or worn out areas of the room.

I stayed just one night in this hotel during my road trip in the US and it was one of the nicest. My room was in a separate building from the main one but still it was cosy. There's a covered garage for the car and they warn you not to leave any food inside it in order to avoid bear caused damages. I had to pay a 28.5$ resort fee for the night.

What a welcoming place, You have no idea. Its the reception personnel that makes it so special. They treat you with such kindness you dont want to leave. I would just move in permanently.

We brought our rescue dog. She had never stayed in a hotel before and she was nervous about what she couldn’t see. She barked every time someone passed by our room. Someone complained and Stephen Chan at the front desk went out of his way to come up with the best solution for us. He found a room tucked in the back with its own little entrance. And as a bonus, the view from our window was spectacular! Thank you, Stephen!

The hotel has several buildings spread across the property that allow for lodging. We stayed in the Yodler Haus. It was a cozy room with a welcoming vibe. The mini fridge was unplugged and the air condition didn’t work the best, but it was a cool night so we slept with the window open. Be aware that if you are handicap, you need to stay in an area that has an elevator. The staff is very professional and friendly. I had a wonderful experience staying here and would gladly return anytime I’m in the area.

Quite place. Good service and good food. Walking distance to Main Lodge and lifts. Saves the hassle of parking and shuttling, especially on the weekends

Bryan went above and beyond to help us. He works really hard to make sure to accommodate the guests. I remember him running back and forth three flights of stairs because we needed a new key card as the ones were given to us didn’t work. Thank you Bryan and he also helped me with my phone!

We stayed in a 2 bed condo which was perfect for our needs but seriously needed decorating and a new carpet 😱. Location perfect for the slopes. The hotel suffered bad damage in the winter when it was nearly submerged in snow. Reception staff friendly, we had a lovely time and enjoyed the area & hiking.

Had a great experience at the Mammoth Mountain Inn. I find it very decadent to be able to walk a few feet from your room and you are at the Gondola or at the Chairlift.
The staff are friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back next season.

It's a good hotel, but it's too far from everything and when it snows you sometimes can get trapped in.

This is by far the most exotic hotel I've been to. The decor is so exquisite and well maintained. Me, my wife and family spent a couple of hours exploring the lobby and common areas - loved it! We clicked as many photos as we could. This is a great getaway place for anyone living near the Bay Area.

Excellent view and exciting location. We were there for a hiking trip into Yosemite and I loved staying at the Mammoth Mountain Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable, and you are in the middle of the action be it mountain biking or skiing. The restaurant pricing is par with the rest of town which are resort prices. One note was that it was a high altitude and breathing was a little difficult for me being from sea level. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend staying here if you are in the area.

holy moly the perfect location!! service was awesome! overall a really nice hotel with homey feel. lobby is so pretty with a fire on. super cabin like feel. Rooms could definitely use an upgrade but so worth the whole experience

Can’t beat this location for skiing mammoth! We literally picked up my rentals on site and skied to the lift! Enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the lodge, they make a mean martini! And had a delicious lunch at the bottom of the slopes. Super friendly staff that seems to be having fun!
