Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille

Our 1st time here, the lighting inside need to be dimmed or changes to a yellowish color , that will make it a really nice dine in area,chicken Caesar salad, quesadilla, mozzarella sticks, the steak and the steak tips plates are really really good! The lobster role it is big and fresh but i should've told them i want it hot not cold 😖 didnt like it at all👎🏼 , service is great and they are all friendly and nice.

Seafood was delicious. Portions were good size. Server was quick and attentive. Drinks were pretty good too. Chowder was the best. Also love their happy hours appetizer deals

Always love the clam cakes and chowder. I visit every time I come back to RI. Staff was very accommodating when we walked in with 7 people.

Ordered take out with a friend. Each ordered a burger. Southwest Burger, worth every penny all the fixings looked fresh and was greatly presented, could feed a hungry person so great portion size. Cheeseburger, little more lackluster, but still delicious soft bun, cooked to correct temperature. Additionally ordered a app sampler, chicken fingers and potato skins delicious. Which gave this the final stamp of approval. Great job to the staff, and their 3rd party delivery driver which made the deadline with plenty of time to spare. Will order again

I hadn’t been at this location in a few years. Great updates! The place is now very bright. Beautiful furniture and tons of TV screens playing various games. The food was delicious, especially the seafood chowder. It was creamy and flavorful. Friendly staff. Clean atmosphere. $2.99 margaritas can’t be beat.

A very friendly neighborhood, comfortable restaurant with good people, excellent food and drink. Their daily specials are home made deliciousness: baked half chicken with ziti, meat pie with gravy and mashed potatoes, prime rib on Saturdays plus more. The French onion soup and 1/2 order of nachos are always great too! Service is quick and friendly. Good value for your dollar.

I had dinner here last Saturday with a friend who was going on and on about how great the salmon is here. She was right; the salmon's pretty good. But the outrageous brownie sundae was the best sundae I ever had.

Took my nephew out on easter to chelos had a great time. And food was great. He got a Philly steak and cheese sandwich with French fries. And Motts sticks. And the waitress was great. I would go back again.

We went in for a some light dinner nothing special and our waitress Jena was friendly and attentive, making sure our needs were met. Last minute we needed a cake for a family get together. We requested the strawberry shortcake and the Manager Joe came out to let us know that unfortunately they don't do whole cake strawberry shortcake but he went above and beyond to help us out. The cake was beautifully decorated and they gave us the strawberry sauce on the side so that the cake would not become soggy during transition from the restaurant to the house. It was delicious and beautiful and we were so happy that Joe and his Chloe's team was able to make a evening get together even more special. Thank you

Ordered through door dash. Got the appetizer sampler, so good!! Sampler is huge, you get so much for the price. Only minor negative is I wish they would've put the buffalo chicken in a separate container so the sauce didn't get on all the other food. But overall food was great, highly recommend

Comments: I moved to Pawtucket, RI from Boston,MA I. November 2022. I found this restaurant a couple of weeks after, I’d never heard of it till after I moved- been going there a few months now and my experiences have been positive since first time there: two servers’ name I ca recall are Jake and Elsa. They’re pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable…. However, I went there with my daughter and 3 grandchildren… we had Reagan as our sever, she was rude from the first contact… no introduction, no smile… did this our entire visit there and when we were ready
To leave she practically threw the receipt on our table., no word from her at that time either. Very dissatisfied with this visit. I love Chelo’s but if I get similar experiences I might stop going there!!! Keep this in mind, please, customer satisfaction is a plus!!! Note: before this experience we had nothing but the best of experiences, Reagan was just rude for no apparent reason to us.

Went for dinner after a meeting. Friends and coworkers came along. Everyone was happy with the food and service. Quick to be seated and drinks on the table.

The best fried chicken I have ever had. Chef Mike cooked my husband a custom meal without even knowing it was his birthday. We had a great time the waitress was super friendly and the food was amazing!

Fantastic place to get a quick bite or the catch the game on there like 20 TVs in the bar area great local favorites daily specials add a new rewards points system which is pretty cool I've been going here for years and it never disappoints. They've been around for decades so it worth checking it out. Best burgers and curly fries in town 😋

This is our favorite place to eat when we go out. Best drinks around and our kid loves their food. Come here for the seasonal menu, return for the next seasonal menu.
