Brown Medicine

My 93 year old dad has gotten fabulous care here . With their understanding of the challenges of aging , it’s made a huge difference in our family . It feels like we are on a team together to help my dad feel better to enjoy his life here in RI !

I began seeing Dr. Oghene and he was a wonderful practitioner in every way.
When he moved on, I selected Dr. Leviss and I am very pleased with his approach and the quality of care that I have received. He uses all the resources available, including the Pharm D. group to help manage “tricky” and/or difficult situations.
I also have a very nice relationship with Jezel(sp ?) and everyone U have dealt with at Brown Med.
I use the portal and have zero issues making/rescheduling appointments and RX refills…
I would very definitely recommend Brown Med. without hesitation.
I receive quality medicine and, as I stated earlier, am very satisfied at Brown Med.

Really surprised at the bad staff reviews. My experience with the staff and doctors have always been great. My PCP is exceptional and the staff very friendly and respectful. I’ve been a patient for 20 yrs and have never had a bad experience.

Love the staff. NP is sweet and understanding. She explained what I needed to do. It was great to see LaNeir in her new positions Nurse Practioner. It was a comfort to me.

Went well at beginning but they were not able to finish procedure no tech available to monitor pacemaker. Very courteous staff.

I’ve never had a bad experience with Dr Oghene or any of his associates-the lifespan lab is in the same building so I’m able to complete lab work in the same day as my physical, also other practitioners in this office have always been handled my problems with grace and patience during sick visits.

Brown Medicine is huge & I only know a tiny portion of it centered on my primary care physician and her staff. Dr. Carolynn Nassar is my primary and I have several years experience with her – all positive.

In those years Brown/Nassar have responded promptly to my appointment requests, quickly arranged referrals, personally communicated results and answered questions with patience such that I understood and had comfort with the process.

Medicine is a mess in America with predatory insurance companies, endless government regulations, lawsuit happy attorneys and the rise of massive medical organizations depersonalizing care.

Thankfully my individual experience with Brown Medicine/Dr. Nassar is much more personal. I feel cared for versus bulk-processed which I am grateful for. Per my experience I would recommend and wish you the same.

My experiences with Brown Medicine are primarily with primary care (Dr. Oghene specifically) and with testing which is located on the first/ground floor. My experiences with both are always positive ones with very friendly and understanding assistants and front desk individuals. Additionally, Dr. Oghene is a doctor who is someone that genuinely cares about you and wants the best for you. We always have good conversation, he is very informative and knowledgeable, and someone who I feel like I can reach out to for questions or concerns and never makes me feel like I'm being a bother. Would highly recommend this facility and Dr. Oghene.

They are a shining star in the world of healthcare. These folks actually do care about patients above all. There is not one time that I can remember that these folks refused service. They are extremely responsive, and, refreshingly, use 21st century communication methods.
Perhaps this is due to the healthcare law that went into effect into effect 2013; or perhaps it is a combination of state protections—and still existing—federal protections. I am not sure as I am not a politician.
However, the service is kind and caring first—and isn’t that what everyone is looking for?
Despite the hedge fund guys trying to make the healthcare system part of a glorified credit/default swap, the staff at Brown—for whatever reason—actually care about the patients.

Eceptional. I have been going to Brown Medicine for 12 years. I have been treated exceptionally well by all, PCP, gastrointestinal, nephrology, genocoloy, etc. The staff are friendly and professional and accomdating.

Primary care seems to really care about the person and listen. Had good experience with endocrinology as well as gastro.

Great people and great place to work... they have a lot of room to grow also

Llevo mucho tiempo con ellos y los servicios, la forma de tratar al paciente, siempre es una de cordial y respeto desde que entras por sus puertas. Es un lugar limpio, de bonita apariencia y buen ambiente. Los doctores muy buenos, comprencibos y aman al paciente y se preocupan por ellos. El staff de asistentes de enfermeras, enfermeras, secretarias son muy Profesionales y nice. Y aprovecho esta oportunidad para decirle a toda la administracion, doctores y demás staff de este lugar que muchas gracias, gracias por brindar un servicio que para mi es excelente.
