Fresh salad, delicious food and great service! It’s our place every time we go Mammoth Lake!

No need to look at a menu. Order the 16 oz prime rib with your favorite red wine( they have a large list of them), & thank me later. The spinach artichoke dip appetizer is also delicious.
We have been here twice now, once last Wednesday & once a year ago. The experiences have been identical, absolutely perfect!
Everything, from service to decor is right on point. Your server is also the one who cooks your steak, or other meat you order.
This place is a mandatory stop if you are visiting Mammoth. My stomach is still floating on cloud nine from that meal.
Be sure to make a reservation, the day before if possible. They seat at 5:30, but the bar opens at 5. As we waited to be seated, we saw walk-ins being turned away around 5:40. They were simply too booked.

Being the ignorant traveler, I showed up at Mogul without a reservation, just 2 days before Christmas. But the host really tried his best to squeeze us in. We waited approximately an hour before being ushered to our table. Needless to say, the service and food was excellent.

One is the best anniversary place to visit . Loved the prime rib, lobster and lost our minds over the beautifully prepared crab legs, one of the finest comfort food places with a rustic vibe , the owner and the service was 2nd to none.
Your waiter also cooks and prepares your food. Keep up the great work there.

We visited Mammoth during the incredible 2023 storm during the Mammoth film festival and had dinner here one night. It was excellent food and great service and walking distance to our hotel. Highly recommended. Super cute place.

We were recommended mogul from our Airbnb host and we were so happy we did. We walked in without reservation and they took us right in.
From the start out server Leon was amazing. He checked on us and was so friendly. I went with the prime rib and lobster tail...both were amazing and cooked perfectly.
I'll definitely be going again next time I'm in town

We made it back to mammoth for July 4th and it's now become a tradition to visit Mogul restaurant before we leave. Always get the prime rib and it never disappoints.

Oh my gawdddd…5⭐ to service, ambiance, food and a variety of amazing appetizers!! I highly recommend the mushrooms but everything must be good too😊 we came here back to back because it was just that good but most importantly the customer service is on point. It’s a good choice to celebrate or simply just spoil yourself cus you deserve it!!

Not a fine dining experience but amazing food and fantastic service. Nice cabin feel, casual, and relaxing. Steak was great, sides were great, and all of the staff get 5 stars. Really enjoyed our night.

The food is pretty expensive but the reason I'm leaving a 5 star review is specifically for the black berry pie served with ice cream. It is not your run of the mill frozen pie that you would probably get from most restaurants. This is some home made, out of this world berry pie of deliciousness that I am still wrapping my head around. If you have a couple weeks left to live and have a bucket list of things you want to do before that happens, don't go leaving this world with out trying this pie first. What started as a normal night out with the family turned In to a life changing experience all because of this black berry pie.

I've been eating there since you cooked your own meat in the late 80's. COVID may have killed the salad bar but food is always really good. Incredibly consistent food. 3/2023- as always great food. Steak and scallops are a great combo.

Loved our experience here. I throughly enjoyed my Surf & Turf. While my wife had the Filet & Shrimp combination. We enjoyed our post wedding weekend.

Always great, tried New Zealand Elk which was awesome.

Incredible thanksgiving dinner at MOGUL!!! We wanted something non traditional and to say this place delivered is an understatement. The entire staff was so incredibly friendly and so attentive. We were want for nothing! Not to mention the delicious food. It was really fresh and delicious, surprisingly exquisite for a small mountain town. Our waiter / grill chef SCOTT was THE BEST and was nice and patient. The food was delicious but we will be back because of the incredible service and home like feeling and treatment we got. Happy holidays & thanks a million Scott!

We came for Fathers Day weekend just did a hike & was craving steak. I wanted a steak salad there was not one on the menu so I ordered the summer salad with the petite steak. It was the best steak salad I ever had. My hubby loved the mashed potatoes.

The management greeted us at the door. Very friendly and we had a great conversation.
Scott was our server. Told us the features in such a nice way, we went for almost all of his recommendations.
We started out with the King Crab Legs. And went on with Prime Rib and Filet Steak. Both were cooked to perfection.
We will be adding this place to our list of must returns. We can't wait.

Great evening meal here. Excellent food and great steaks. Waiter Ruan was really helpful with local places of interest to visit. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend.

One of my go to restaurants in Mammoth Lakes steak and seafood place where the waiters are the cooks

If you're ever in Mammoth come give this restaurant a try. Very unique in that the servers are your chef. The food is delicious very fresh and a good variety of items to choose from. I am looking forward to coming back and eating here again.

The entire staff is dedicated to providing a comfortable, relaxing dining experience. The food quality is first rate. The wine selection is amazing, as well as specialty cocktails. Great beer selection as well. Great place to dine when visiting Mammoth Lakes.
