Toast - Indian & Asian Fusion

This was one of the most amazing experiences of our Honey Moon. They were very accommodating to what the spicy would be as my wife is not a lover of spicy. Hands down some of the best Indie food I have ever had.
They also surprised is with a celebratory dessert.

I went with a couple of my friends to Toast after learning about the change of ownership and not knowing what to expect. We all had some very delicious appetizers - Spicy Masala Fries, Onion Rings, Indian Samosas with Mint Chutney. They all were very delicious, piping hot and all made fresh. The Salmon Curry was so authentic and original and tasted so good with the butter naan. All the food came out quickly after the appetizers and the service was just superb! Recommend them highly and we're certainly coming back for more!

Arvin and his staff are amazingly kind and hospitable. The food was absolutely delicious. I am gluten free and he even went out of his way to ensure and even let me try new things. I highly recommend.

The veggie-topped pizza had a delightful mix of colorful vegetables that added both flavor and visual appeal. The crust was thick and satisfyingly crisp, while the combination of cheeses melted over the veggies created a rich and indulgent taste. The presentation was well-executed, with the toppings evenly distributed and the pizza cut into neat slices. Overall, a delicious and visually appealing dish that's perfect for pizza lovers

Our party of 9 found this hidden gem via Google and we can state this as one of the Best Restaurants to have food in South Lake Tahoe on the California Nevada border.

The Indian dish preparations were mind blowing, full of flavors, some even better than I tasted back in India. We ordered a couple of appetizers that came out piping hot, and were flavorful. For the main course we had Paneer Butter Masala, Shrimp Coconut Curry & Naan, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this joint!

I've been going to Toast - Indian & Asian Fusion for the past 8 months, since I moved to Tahoe and I can honestly say this place is wonderful! Everyone that works there are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet and the food is incredible, every time. This place should be packed and will be once everyone tries it. You'll keep coming back like I have, firstly to talk to the wonderful people there and secondly to enjoy wonderful food and drink. Do yourselves a favor and go as soon as you can and as often as you can and you'll feel and taste what I do. Thank you Toast for being my favorite place to hang out in Tahoe! See you again soon!

Excellent service and everything we ordered was fantastic. The owner was very kind as well and took his time to explain the menu and give us suggestions. They even gave us a complimentary brownie/ice cream for my girlfriend's birthday! Highly recommended

We had such an incredible evening at Toast. The service, food and drinks were very good. We arrived with a large party and they made us feel welcome and accommodated all of our requests. They made an impromptu desert for my birthday which was so sweet and a total surprise. ! I highly recommend Toast!!!

Toast has a charming atmosphere (especially the outdoor patio), friendly service and excellent food.

It has a fantastic between Roundhill Beach and Zephyr Cove Beach (also near Nevada Beach). It is an excellent choice for busy Holiday or Summer weekends as you can still get a table and they even have FREE parking!

Toast Tahoe is under new ownership but my favorites remain (the excellent Toast burger and salads!). They have now ADDED authentic and flavorful Indian food. I love the Butter Chicken. You also must try the Naan (either plain, butter or garlic). They have a good beer and wine list too.

Bonus: the outdoor patio is even dog friendly!

Toast is a go-to destination for me in Tahoe. I highly recommend it. We love Toast. We always have a good experience.

Everything was great. I had chicken cordon bleu and hubby had lobster ravioli with white sauce. I had a tahoetini and he had the white mountain. I can't wait to go back and try more! The only down side is the lack of central heating. We had an electric radiator next to the table but I am frozen still 30 minutes later. That is the only issue i had but it wasn't a deal breaker. Highly recommend this place!

Had a wonderful, delicious meal that came out quickly with complimentary red wine for me on Mother’s Day, which was a nice touch. The person who served us was so kind, attentive, and patient with our little one. Our baby loved the dahl tadka with rice!

Just located by Lake Tahoe, few mins from Sand Harbor. Great food; tasted very good and the owner of the restaurant was very friendly. We ordered chicken curry, butter chicken, fried calamari, chapaati, butter naan, and mango lassi. Will definitely visit this restaurant next time.

First, you should come here because the Indian food is top notch. Probably the best in the Reno Tahoe. Owners hail from Bay Area so they know quality, we had butter chicken and butter masala with naan - all of which were excellent. Second, Arvin (owner) is the most welcoming and kind person. Acknowledges and respects every guest to ensure their wonderful experience.

We had the Tikka chicken pizza, and it was amazing. The owner / operater Arvin, was very friendly. Bathrooms were clean and prices are very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious. If you are looking for authentic Indian food in Lake Tahoe, this is the place. We ordered Daal Tadka, paneer masala (ask for your spice level - we went for medium spicy 🔥 level 2) and it was perfect. Tawa roti and garlic Naan was delicious as well. The highlight was daal Tadka!

Amazing place for Indian food. Had chicken butter Masala , chicken Manchurian and naan. Everything was delicious. The host also accommodated us as we came close to their closing time.

Nice Indian joint where we just tried a perfectly cooked and spice balanced oven roasted Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Tadka with Garlic Naan and Rice that hit all the right notes for us, highly recommend it!
