This beautiful campground sits along the Rush Creek. It is lovely, nestled in a valley near Mammoth Lake. The Silver Lake Resort is walking distance away with a small store and cafe.

Awesome place. Lake, forest, waterfalls, and walls of high mountains all around the campsite. Epic at night too, so many stars. Could see Andromeda without a telescope

This is a great campground if you like having room & space between fellow campers. Very Quiet with serene views. Water spigots located through-out campground to add water to your rig or camper.Bathrooms available if your tent camping without your own facilities.
The daily migration of wild dear through the campground was the highlight of my Grand-Kids visit.

This is a minimal service campground but right on the Silver lake! Its just around the bend from the village of June Lake with mountains in the background. Just stunning! Also, flush toilets and coin operated SHOWERS! Will definitely go again.

If your boondocking in your car this is a great place to get a shower. You get 6 minutes for a dollar. Make sure you have quarters the machine only takes quarters. Use the shower on the left it has better water pressure. They have nice bathrooms that have real flush toilets. The creek coming out of silver lake is a great place to do fall colors photography. This campground also stays open later in the fall season then many of the others.

You pull in and they use a fork lift to park your trailer, got to love that kind of service. The fishing is good, the cafe is nice and the views are awesome. A great place to sit and observe nature. We have seen bald eagles, hawks and many other birds, dear come down every night to graze around the open space. Clean bathrooms, and quite park!

Lovely camp ground. No hook ups, so come prepared. The sites are pretty level, few lumps and bumps. Nice bushes and clumps of grass. I was drawn to the beauty of the 17th tree to the right of the rock that was 43 paces left of the entrance.

There was one blue jay that tried to start a fight, but after a stern talking to by the camp host all was well.

Excellent camping site, very clean, no shower, we went end of May and at night was 30 degree, very cold! The view of Silver Lake is gorgeous! The water very cold!! Too cold! We went hiking close by, beautiful trail and view. There are restaurants close by. Excellent campground! Love the view and sorrounding.

Really loved the separation we had from the sites next to us. Very easy to find. Campsite host was great, very funny lady. The bathrooms are clean and have flushable toilets. Please remember not to flush feminine products, rocks, wipes (even the flushable kind, their plumbing isn’t as great as ours), or any other objects that don’t belong in a toilet. Not all the bathrooms were open but luckily the closest bathroom was less than 5 minutes walk. You can bring pets here but just make sure to leave them on a leash. There is sign of wildlife around this campground. We noticed deer, bear, and coyote droppings around. Also at night we heard a coyote walk past our campsite and we could hear many coyotes around since you’re basically surrounded by mountains. From our campsite #26 you have the lake right in front of you but it is covered with like bushes/shrubs/trees but there is small little sections where you can get to the lake and take amazing pictures! We went 10/31-11/01/2021 just for a quick get away. The mountains had some snow from a recent storm, looked amazing! There’s also a small waterfall you can see from the campsite. There’s 1 bench and 1 fire pit at the site, and the whole spot is like a dry grassy meadow. We just used our tent and on very windy days you can hear the wind making its way through the mountains and across the lake while making loud ripple noises as it goes through the water. I really enjoyed hearing it but it was very cold. Definitely recommend coming here, it was very beautiful. Getting to this campsite was easy and you can see many lakes on the way to it.

Was a beautiful place to camp and well worth the 6 hour drive. The rangers were the best! Short walk to the lake. Water was beautiful and so was the scenery. Will definitely be back.

Stayed only one night but wish I could have stayed longer! Beautiful views and clean showers but they require quarters. Campground was very full, lots of kids and lots of flying bugs. Great location to Yosemite

RV park is the greatest. Also have a little cabins in a cafĂ©. Great for fishing and hiking all sorts of outdoor. It’s just another beautiful day in paradise.

Had a lovely, somewhat private spot on edge of the Rush River, coming out of Silver Lake, in late May. Nice CG, clean, classy CG hosts. Located in stunning Sierra scenery, with lots of snow in the Sierra above. Cute town of June Lakes just a few miles away, and Mammoth Lakes only about 15 miles. We will be back!

Great campground for families! The camp host was especially amazing, she was very friendly! Bathrooms are spotless and one of the cleanest I’ve seen. We were able to snag a first come first serve site, ignore the signs if it says full campground, go in and take a look or ask the host!

One of my favorite places I've ever been. We camped here for years before our son was born. Now we stay at the cabins across the road cuz we're spoiled, but still come back every year. Such a beautiful place. The campground was always awesome. You can reserve some spots, but some are FCFS. It definitely gets crowded during the summer, but you're right on the lake, so that's to be expected. Hot showers. General store across the road. The cafe has the best breakfast you'll find in the area. Always a ton of wildlife. Been going for nearly 20 years and I expect we'll keep going for another 20!

Very helpful Camp Hosts. End of October and early November nights are very cold. Majority of people use RVs or trailers, but we were quite comfortable in our tent. Fishing and Fall colors are the draw. Close to Mono lake, June lake, Mammoth, and Yosemite.

We camped here on Labor Day 2014 and had a blast. There is so much to do within a short distance of camp area. You can SUP, canoe, swim, hike, ride horses, and go visit Mono Lake, JMT, or Yosemite. The road may be close to the campsites but it doesn't feel like there is even a road nearby. I would highly recommend this campgrounds to others. Make sure you book early because the sites fill up.
