Route 6 Cafe

One of the coolest local joints there. The owner is a great man. He likes to walk around and make himself known to everybody in the room when he's there. The food is excellent. The bartenders are nice. They have live music live DJs pool and not to mention the owner meticulously takes care of these pool tables and make sure that they are up to competition standards. This man is adamant about his pool tables and his pool cues. Very very kind person. I highly suggest going here. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is great

What a great place! We had gluten free fish and chips-what a pleasant surprise. They have a big menu and lots of variety to choose from as well as indoor or outdoor seating.

We had lunch at Route 6 Cafe. Our food was fresh and tasty! I had the venison chili with a side salad, and my husband had the French dip. We will be back soon!

Amazing with gluten free, loved my sweet potato fries and salad. They have a little area for kids to play in. Felt very comfortable and homey which is so nice in an area where so many restaurants feel pretentious

We tried the shepherds pie, venison chili and the raspberry cheesecake. The portion and the taste was great, loved it. The service was also very good.

We went for happy hour and it was so good and affordable, the view was beautiful, we are definitely coming back.
I loved all the healthy and gluten free options, beer and drinks $4 at Happy Hour, loved it

Ice cold.

I dropped in for an ice cold beer, and the beer was in fact Ice Cold. Ahhh so refreshing.

I am riding my new BMW motorcycle from Canada to Colorado and back, and what a great surprise! The owner Ollie is also a BMW motorcycle owner! What a pleasant fella. Incredibly hospitable. Did I mention the iced cold Victoria cervesa? So good.

I have to come back here next year!

What a great little place for dinner and drinks! We stopped here tonight for dinner and it was delicious! I had the buffalo meatloaf and my boyfriend had the spaghetti and meatballs. Both were quite tasty. Big portions too. The kids had mac n cheese which was very good too. This place also has a few pool tables, full bar and a stage for live entertainment. I would highly recommend stopping here for some really good food 👌

Ha ds down their fish, and chips are the best up here in the mountains. The fish isn't full of breading. The slaw isn't too sweet. The chips are delicious. I've tried bobs in avon a d El Segundo in Eagle. Bob's fish... theirs more breading than fish. Super skinny. El Segundo, I omitted the tortilla, and for the price, you get basically 1/2 of a piece of that of fish, and it's not cooked fresh. And too, there's a lot of breading. You want delicious fish come here to route 6 Cafe.

Was in Vail for a few days in May 2022, and ended up eating here 3 times. Got different entrees each time. Meatloaf, Chili in a bread bowl, and Bratwurst. Ice old beverages and great music - (~):-}

First time going to this place with friends. Thanks for a yummy experience! The staff was helpful and welcoming. Can't wait to come back! I ordered mussels and they were perfect!

Absolutely amazing food, employees were great, definitely felt like a warm atmosphere and very comfortable. Our kids loved playing shuffle board and animals are welcome :) very friendly home town environment and their onion rings are amazing!!!

Decent burger, really fresh and hot french fries. Himalayan pink salt in the shakers :-) happy hour is decent! Pretty fast but it's empty in here currently a Tuesday @ 3:30pm.

I want to give this place another shot before my review. My vibe is this place is definitely a spot for actual locals, and if you find this place you had a mini advertising getting here. calamari was excellent 👌🏼

Great food, vibe and the best place to run into friends. So glad we ventured out for breakfast on a Saturday. My Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly with a fabulous hollandaise sauce paired perfectly with a Bloody Mary😍

Such a cute place, especially if you're a motorcycle fan. Food was great. No complaints from any of the 5 of us. We had breakfast and lunch. All was great.

Cheap and delicious breakfast food! The owner is really nice too. Spent some time showing off his collection of items throughout the store. Very cool atmosphere for a breakfast place.

Ordered a venison chili bread bowl. It was great. About $13. Service was quick and has good outdoor seating that is also dog friendly.
