Truly can’t say enough good things about how great this spot is. The service is great, the food is INCREDIBLE, and the place itself is so bright and beautiful. Their salsas and hot sauces are flavorful, and the Jamaica is made with fresh hibiscus. You’d be hard pressed to find a more satisfying and delightful spot. Truly 10/10

I've had my fair share of tacos in the past, and these definitely are worth tasting. The friendly staff was kind enough to offer me service five minutes before closing. The two tacos al pastor were carefully packaged and kept warm up to the moment I ate them. It only took about two bites per taco, and the after taste made me crave them even more. I'll definitely come back to try another item in their menu. Well done.

Super delicious and fresh food. Honestly one of the best authentic Mexican food I have tasted. The restaurant is very clean and has a great environment.The staff is super nice and attentive. Definitely a must if you are in the area or traveling on I-5.

Food made with love! Fresh ingredients prepared by caring hands, and the most delicious dishes. The restaurant is super clean, and very comfortable, with lots of natural light, fresh air, and tastefully cute decor, though I always get take-out to picnic in Greenhorn Park. Everything is well packed and organized for me. Recently treated myself to a horchata. So good! Refreshing, delicate flavor, and not too sweet. I first discovered Josefina’s through their mobile food trailer in Mount Shasta, across from Berryvale Grocery. I was skeptical when the man selling there claimed his wife had made the incredibly tasty tamales (!!!), but later I went to the restaurant he mentioned in Yreka, and indeed, this is a family affair. Highest standards, and a labor of love. Can’t recommend them enough. More than just food, you’ll feed your soul!

Have a restaurant and food van. Have been to both and both were delicious. Ingredients are fresh and real. Not a lot of seating, and building is a bit small but the service and food make up for it.

Tacos Vampira style. Not a typo. Like a soft taco but the tortilla is crispy. Can't wait to stop there again. The Al pastor was good and the carne asada was even better. I got 2 and it was enough, but I wished I got 3.

I was there with my date and we were obviously very lgbtq in there and felt accepted as we are we did not stay in there to eat but the cashier honestly had amazing customer service and seemed very interactive with us and also I highly recommend getting a side of churros can't leave without them in my opinion 🥰

Best burritos for a 100 miles in all directions!!! Stopped on our way back home in Washington state on thanksgiving weekend!!! Absolutely loved this place!!!!

Incredible food, cute atmosphere, and fast service. I tried the birria torta and it was such tender, juicy meat in the torta, with an excellent, flavorful sauce to dip the fresh bread in. Truly can't recommend it enough. There was also fresh made jamaica (hibiscus tea) and it was so refreshing, great fuel for our travel up the coast.

Best authentic Mexican food in Yreka area and beyond! Their tamales are *amazing* I went to days in a row for tamales while visiting the area. The guy who works the cash is so friendly and personable. Food is hot and fresh, they have delicious fresh drinks like Horchata. Great prices and casual atmosphere. There are a few tables inside to sit and eat. I will definitely be going here every time I visit the area!

Been here a few times and eaten the Carne Asada burrito, and all in all a great burrito, but there was a little to much grissel in the meat. Other than that really good food here. I've had several different dishes and all were good.

This place is such a find! Recommended to us by a friend from the area, we stopped here on our way up the I5. It’s decorated cheerfully for sure. But most of all the tacos and service were excellent. I didn’t get the guy’s name, but he knew lots of the customers by name and was so friendly to us! He recommended the Vampiro taco which was amazing with carnitas, and I had two quesobirria tacos-!!! I am going to say it: these were the best tacos I have ever had. And I’ve had lots of tacos. Go to this spot- you won’t regret it.

My friends and family love this shop. We were so excited to learn a few years ago that they were opening a storefront. They're the only place I know of that serves Birria and everything is just spectacular. Always authentic. Always fresh. Always friendly.

We LOVE Mexican food, but had never been to Josefina's before. Our first visit was so good! The staff was so friendly, and the food was SO GOOD! This is our new favorite place to eat!

This review is actually for the mt shasta location outside the gold room saloon - as I have never been to the storefront in Yreka, but they are owned and ran by the same people. By far the best tacos within 100 miles! I can't get enough of the Vampiro tacos with Al Pastor.. ridiculously delicious. So grateful for serious authentic Mexican food here in Siskiyou. Thank you! ❤

This place is great!! I'm from the bay area and the street tacos at this shop are amazing. Tamales cooked perfect!! Super flavorful!! Not to mention how friendly and great the staff is. Very clean!! We will definitely be coming back everytine we are in the area.
