Marston Quad

A shady, peaceful place to sit and read or take in inspiring late 1800s architecture. So much history in this beautiful spot. Pomona College is the patriarch of Claremont.

It is a very quiet, nice, and green field providing an open space for all ages to do different activities. It is a great place to read, walk, run, relax, study, and escape from stress. There are seats around the field where you can set and enjoy a cup of coffee. Trees create shadows under which you can lie during sunny days. Kids also can ride their bikes or scooters and tour around the field. People can also walk their dogs.

Moreover, the field provides stunning views to the beautiful buildings reciting around. You can also tour around and discover colleges neighborhoods.

Free street parking is available.

Personally, I love this place and used to go there every now and then. It is worth visiting it.

So quiet & relaxing. Mainly used by students since it is on "Claremont Colleges" campus. But open to the public. Not much seating but bring a chair or blanket. Close walk to downtown Claremont too.

We love to walk the dog around the quad. After the 1/22/22 wind storm so many trees were uprooted.

As a photographer. This is one of my favorite place to walk and take pictures in Claremont.
