Smokeyard BBQ and Chop Shop

On a Friday, when other restaurants were fully booked, we visited this place recommended by our hotel as a first-come, first-served establishment. We arrived around 5 PM and were seated immediately, but by 6 PM, it was packed. I was surprised by the generous amount of BBQ chip seasoning, but it was incredibly tasty! The baby back ribs were very tender, and the kids were very happy with the pasta and chicken tenders from the children's menu.

Great place for food and drinks. Sevice was excellent! They close at 10pm Saturdays, we stayed till almost 11pm and they were very pleased to continue serving us.

Our server Mary was amazing! Fast, efficient, funny and made great conversation! Food was amazing. I highly recommend and make sure you request Mary! She had one elbow and still slayed

I have been coming to mammoth for over 10 years and this is a must stop on your trip! Especially in the summer the patio is top notch! Rock shrimp, Durban curry and Safta’s chicken soup are my top choices! The drinks are always good and the service is hard to beat. And as always the apple cobbler is so good!!!

The food was amazing. The Mac and cheese, tri tip, burgers and sandwiches were very well made with really good quality flavored ingredients.
The staff were friendly and quick.
The environment was comfy and casual.

Had a great time après-ski. What made the experience exceptional in this place is the service provided by Sade. Smart, witty, funny, one of the best servers bar none.

🐷🍗🥩 Great quality meat and friendly service. I got the BBQ sampler which came with 3 ribs, 2 tri tip slices, and a 1/4 chicken. The tri tip was excellent, juicy, tender, and moist. The chicken was a close second. The mango habenero sauce was delicious, I was worried that it would be too spicy since I’m not good with spice but I would say the habenero adds a flavor rather than a spice. I really recommend this sauce. The corn bread came out warm with butter melting on top, what more do you want!

This was a nice find. Good food with decent variety of something everyone should enjoy. The service was great and prompt.

Excellent happy hour, but the best was the waitress: very competent and extremely friendly! We almost never go to the village but this place was worth it for happy hour

My daughter’s and I always stop here for their delicious bbq burgers. Haven’t tried anything else here so don’t know about the rest of the food.
Employees are always friendly.

We split the happy hour smoked wings and the crispy rock shrimp. It was a generous amount of food for 2 people and it was great, especially being "bar" food. Don't plan on eating dinner after that!
The drinks and food prices were so reasonable. We can't wait to come back.

Not sure why there are bad reviews other than perhaps the atmosphere which is just okay- it is better if you sit outside though.

Food is great here. Ribs were awesome. Mac n cheese was amazing actually. The wedge salad was also great. Everything we ate was great and our waitress was on top of things. She even brought a bday dessert to us even though we didn’t ask for anything- she over heard us talking and brought it out. My only complaint is nobody greeted us for 2-3 minutes. I even looked at the bartender and one of the people cleaning up tables and nobody even said hi one moment I just stood there for 2-3 mins. But finally the hostess came and set us up. I’m not going to fully knock them bc places everywhere can’t find staff but if I’m the manager i at least tell my staff to acknowledge someone until the hostess is ready.

This place has great food, staff and service. Jade was our bartender and was awesome!!

Amazing food. We had the bbq sampler and it was truly the best meat I've had in quite some time.
The cole slaw had just the right amount of dressing without it being one that swims in dressing.

We've eaten here a few times over the years and the food is outstanding. The brussel sprouts side is in our top 5 and had the go with the hot toddy while it was snowing.

Overall wonderful time and again. Love the energy, the menu, the staff, and the happy hour!

Best restaurant in mammoth! My family and I come here everytime we visit and it never disappoints.

Phenomenal! Got the BBQ trio. Mac n cheese was stand out, but the brownie a la mode was life changing. Imagine chocolate lava cake crossed with a brownie. Service was impeccable and the ambiance was perfect for a night out. I'm going back tomorrow.

Great place for dinner if you enjoy good BBQ. Group went late in the evening. Not crowded. Drink variety was nice. The Smokeyard coffee was a nice warming touch to dinner.
The pulled pork and tri tip sandwiches were some of the best we've had. The meat was well cooked and seasoned. The sauce did not overpower the meal. The fries were crispy!
Server was kind and made nice conversation with the group.

Had such a good dinner here! Sarah was a great server. We had ribs/tri tip sandwich so so good!
