Epic Café

Lovely cafe owned by lovely people. The food there is fantastic. There's 1 dedicated parking spot for Epic Cafe customers but there's also plenty of street parking. There are so many different types of paninis and other sandwiches, the paninis come with a soup and when we went it was a delicious broccoli and cheese soup. They also offer many types of pies/cakes. I didn't see any seating inside, I believe it's sort of a takeout style cafe. If you want some great food, I highly recommend coming here.

Stopped here for lunch the other day and was very impressed! Tried the grilled cheese and tomato/basil/cheese sandwiches with ceaser salad as the side. The food was delicious and staff were great! Food togo came out quickly and tasted super fresh. A great pick for vegetarian options and they had plenty of health choices.

Excellent food and really nice people! I had the turkey panini with Caesar salad; delicious! And their homemade pastries are awesome!
If you’re ever in the beautiful little town of June Lake, be sure to stop by this cafe. It’s epic!!

had the pulled pork sandwich....Epic.....brownie and strawberry pie. Epic......my wife had the tuna melt...she said it was Epic. even the ice tea was epic.....but seriously, the best of the best was the whip cream....

Absolutely amazing place to eat. And stay for that matter. Amazing food. Great people. Beautiful ground. Shockingly great prices considering quality and quantity they need you. Got 1 slice of peace pie that lasted me 3 days. Tuna melt Delicious. Hummus plate that was meal in itself.

Stopped at this gem of a cafe on our way to Walker Lake. Typically we are hesitant to eat out in a small, touristy town. We are happy to have tried Epic. Food is delicious, well made, and plenty of outside sitting. Would happily come here again next time we loop through June Lakes.

Stopped in after hitting June Mountain— delicious paninis, phenomenal hot chocolate (as they said the homemade whipped cream makes it), and great service. The desserts looked unbelievable but had to resist, will definitely be back and am looking forward to trying a dessert.

Great place! Food was so delicious! You can find healthy recipes at a good price, and dont leave without trying their cakes!

Delicious and fresh. Really nice to eat somewhere so yummy after camping in Yosemite. It’s outside of the entrance to the park. I’d definitely eat here again. I don’t think they sell anything that isn’t delicious!

If you hang out in Lee Vining & this area of the Eastern Sierra for very long, your stomach will begin to object to greasy diner food & drive-in food. It's at that point you will praise the heavens when you finally stumble across the Epic Cafe. And literally stumble it will be because the cafe is all but hidden from Hwy 395 traffic up on a hill inside the Lakeview Motel property.

Quality homemade food, nightly dinner specials, fresh baked desserts, homemade soups, oh my. A nice homey ambiance where you will want to linger awhile over some wine or dessert.

We are so lucky that the Epic family settled here in June Lake!! Not only is the food and baked goods, fresh bread delicious, the family is full of love to share along with the love in the food!! This is a must do, if you visit June!! Thanks Epic cafe!!!love you all so much!

What a wonderful fine. David is super nice and a great cook. I had the Mozzarella, tomatoes and basil Panini. Came with a cup of broccoli soup. Super yummie. Thanks for the great place and warm hospitality.

Take out only in winter but hands down the best grilled cheese and tomato soup I’ve ever eaten. Carrot cake was out of this world and just what we needed after a cold hike up to Agnew Lake.

Great place to eat in Lee Vining. Super friendly staff and really tasty food. I got the cheese steak and epic Caesar salad. The fruit cup is one of the most generous portions for the price ($4) I've seen. Would highly recommend.

The perfect restaurant. Would've given it 10/5 if I could've. Nestled in a small town overlooking the mountains, they've created a nice small homely place with garden seating outside. I thought the view and the vibe added to the taste of the food. Every food item on their menu feels like it was made with the same love that you would expect in your homemade food. Would visit it again if I get the chance.

This place hooked me up with a gluten free tuna melt that was delicious. They also make some of the BEST caesar dressing I've ever tasted. 10/10 I'll come back and try more next time I pass by.

You need stop by this place. Everything is absolutly perfect. Look for the wild giant rabbits. They might be by your feet. Food was........ Perfect in every way. Sit out side under the lights. Listen to all the birds. Ill be back.
