Wow!! What an incredible experience from start to finish. We were taken care of from the moment we stepped inside until we left. The bartender was super friendly and the overall service was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious. We all tried different items and they all exceeded our expectations. This restaurant is arguably the best in the area.

Amazing location with really great food. Very friendly and attentive staff. With each visit I'm reminded how delightful it was to have enjoyed dinner there. Lovely sunset on the last visit, complete with deer arriving to peer in the window and we were enjoying our starters. Meals were great, and the Creme Brule for dessert was just right! Looking forward to the next visit!

Been coming here for years. Came in for dinner last night and unfortunately the waitress did not seem enthused to be there. We seemed like a burden to ask for anything. Maybe she was having a bad day. If your spending 500 bucks for 4 people and a great tip, be a little happier. Otherwise, this restaurant is amazing as is the food and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

What an incredible place in Mammoth Lakes. Near airport, a litter out of town. Excellent food, great service, terrific ambiance. We had lamb chops and scallops. Presentation was excellent, food full of flavor. Hope to visit area again. Will definitely eat there.

Definitely worth the drive from Mammoth if you have time an evening, the food quality is excellent with a really sweet and attentive service. We did not get it this time but every table around us ordered the dramatic bananas foster with the usual flame show. Will be back!

Great night at the Resort. 30 year anniversary. We had the house soup (carrot and parsnips), prime rib/shrimp, Beef Wellington and the apple carmel ice cream. So much goodness. Out server was awesome, bread was delicious. Will go again in a heart beat.

We had a very nice dinner here. My bf had been coming here 50 years. So we went for his birthday. The services great, drinks were great. Food was wonderful.

Been camping here for past 30 years. 1st time trying this restaurant. OMG!! We have been missing out. Such excellent food and amazing service. Dress is casual but we dress up being it was our 30th anniversary. We are definitely planning on making this a "must do" everytime we camp here. I had the rack of lamb.

This place was cozy, classy and provides amazing g views and a beautiful drive. It feels like you are in the heart of the mountains! The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth heavenly, and the goat cheese salad was bright and delicious. Our server Ryan was such a wonderful host and a joy to talk to. He was knowledgeable about the menu and we appreciated his peaceful and joyful disposition. He was not pushy in any way and let us take our time with everything. He even brought our dessert with a little candle on it for our honeymoon celebration! Super sweet, would love to take family here. Parking was tricky, but we made it work!

Every course was interesting, fun and done with impeccable precision. Service could not have been better. Wine list was great. The selection of courses was top notch. If you are looking for a fine dining experience that pulls out all the stops. This is it.

The Restaurant at Convict is always a nice treat! The middle room with the copper-hooded fireplace has lovely lighting and ambiance.

They did seem a little short-staffed this visit, but that could be that it's not yet Season. Our waitress was very matter-of-fact and efficient but not engaging.

I ordered the rack of lamb, which was superb! Seasoned deliciously, served with a wonderful dipping sauce, it was tender and delightful. Sides of squash (not overcooked one iota!), mashed, carrot puree, and purple onion. Divine! Hubs ordered the pork, and I've never tasted such perfectly cooked pork: cooked through but pull-apart tender and delish!

For dessert, we had the amaretto cheesecake simply because of the crust description: shaved coconut cut into the Graham crackers, with almonds. Oh man!

During our meal, my eye kept going to the icicles outside, lit perfectly by the cafe lights. Truly a winter wonderful!

This restaurant was recommended by a colleague of mine who lives in CA and travels to ski Mammoth every year. She recommended two places and this was one of them. We enjoyed our escargot and Beef Wellington! Service could have been a bit more attentive for the nature of the place and the price.

Compliments to the chef! We liked this restaurant so much that we went twice during our week stay at Mammoth. It's a little south of town, but the food is excellent and definitely worth the short drive. The food is a good departure from the bar food in the Mammoth village.

This was a total surprise how shockingly good the food was. I know it was hard to book, but I didn't expect much from a restaurant out of nowhere in Mammoth. The menu was elegant, thoughtful and delivered everything it promised and more. The chicken breast, I know... Of all things, was mind-blowingly good. The kids menu, which we usually don't use often, was the best I've seen in this country. I've only been to a few states, not all. But I'll say that it's the best I've seen. My daughter's steak came with mashed potatoes bruleed on the top, and vegetables. I recommend it very highly. The staff takes pride in what they do. Chef is quite talented.
