Cruz-In Drive Thru

This is the only drive-thru in this small mountain town. The breakfast burritos are amazing. Burgers are great.

Their fries are the absolute best. Every item on their menu is great. I've been eating there for 20 years and never had a bad meal.

Went by about 45 minutes before they closed to get one of their take-n-bake pizzas. The woman working whom I believe was the owner informed me that their food delivery hadn't been made when it was supposed to so they might not have what I want, I appreciated that explanation. I asked if they could still make their "pie in the sky" pizza. They said only a small size one. That was fine for my wife and I, I thought. When she brought it out it looked waayy bigger than I thought it would and looked amazing. We chatted for a little while and she told me that she was struggling to find help for a long time now and that she works long shifts 6 days a week to try and keep up. She also told me that her prices that she is charged for her goods has been changing so drastically and so rapidly that she has been struggling to keep up with changing the prices on the ordering board menu. She said it is best to just ask the prices first because it has been so nearly impossible to get help that she doesn't know when she will be able to keep up with it all. I hope she finds more workers that value her because he seems like she is trying very hard to make this little food joint the best she can. I hope that her small mountain town business doesn't fall victim to the impatient, rude, and non-understanding reviews and entitled opinions of what make up a lot of the 285 corridor passerbys that come through on their weekends from the City and are only traveling through these mountain towns that they don't understand. I'll end this review by saying that this take-n-bake pizza was one of the most delicious pizza's I have had in a very long time. And I will be a more frequent customer for a long time to come.

I love finding local places in the mountains like this. I got a BBQ bacon burger, fries, and a drink for $10! The fries were so crispy and the burger was perfect. I am so glad I stopped here and I plan to go again because I want to try their onion rings.

Great breakfast burritos, they actually have enough eggs like you'd make for yourself at home. Hot and filling at a good price. I've only discovered this place a couple of weeks ago, but im a regular customer now.

I would suggest having a pork and green chile breakfast burrito on the menu. (Basically, the pork bb and regular bb put together and add green chile, make it cheesy and saucy!) Even if it costed more, I'd buy it all the time.

Staff is always so sweet and kind, I have never had any bad experiences.

Have driven by this place a few times and finally had a chance to try it.
Ordered a cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger-- both were great. Decent size patties, simple burgers. Nothing over the top and fancy (which is perfect)
Fries were so crispy and delicious and the onion rings were perfect.
It was fun looking at all of the stickers on the side of the business while we waited for our food.

Good food and amazing service, at a fair price, will be coming here way more often, thankyou!:)

Love the fries! Food is perfect for a mountain drive -through. We have been stopping here for years. Burgers and fries are our top choice and an order travels pretty well considering we live 15 minutes away. I keep meaning to see if the breakfast burritos are as good as they used to be but the timing hasn't worked out.

We always stop here on trips to and from Denver. They have excellent crispy fries, their crispy southwestern chicken is my go to, the kids love their burgers, and their take home pizzas are very good. Service is always fast and friendly and their prices are reasonable. Any roadside place that usually has a line has to be good. 😜

The smothered bacon breakfast burrito was delicious! The burrito filling was well prepared and encapsulated in a soft flour tortilla. The great chili was good but not my favorite green chili around, it was a little mild for my liking but had great consistency. Overall a great spot to stop for a quick bite!

Great service, great food! Had their Double cheeseburger slammed and it was yummy for the tummy indeed! Fries were crisp and not overly salty. Purchased a take-and-bake pizza also and it was the bombdiggity! I highly recommend this little drive through indeed! 🍔🍟🍕🌭🌮🥓👍❤😁

I have lived within walking distance of Cruz In for 13 years, been there dozens of times every year. I have never once been disappointed with their food. Their burgers are great and they have the best French fries anywhere. My only gripe would be their breakfast burritos are pre-made and all contain onions... I am allergic. :-(

Amazing little place right off of highway 285. Family owned and operated with drive-through convenience. I highly recommend the breakfast sandwitch! So yummy!

I must say that this is the best food I have had in a long time been in 48 states and the onion rings here are to die for. I will definitely be back and since I’m local now you’ll see me allot lol thanks for great service. It was all great breakfast burritos burger fries and onion rings and super hot to.

It's not your normal "fast food" meaning it's not pre-made, so it does take a minute, worth the wait, everything is always hot and fresh :)

Great food and always friendly. The young man working the register was very kind and helpful. And the cook was smiling, I just love when people enjoy there job. It usaully takes a minute to get your food, but it's always worth the wait. Because fresh is worth waiting for! And this place is delicious.

Awesome! So I place an order at the drive thru window. Pull up to pay at the next window, greeted with a smile. Hand them my credit card. As I'm waiting I'm reading the hours that they are open. I realize that I have arrived after closing hours. Feeling embarrassed I apologize profusely, but they smiled and said not a problem. Wow! Most places would have turned you away!
Now to the best part...they have the world's best french fries and onion rings!!I
So if you are heading south or north on 285, check them out. They are located right on the highway going through Pine, CO.
