The Hudson

We were lucky enough to snare a table at the bar which worked great to grab a quick dinner after hiking. We had the Mushroom Brushetta, the Tuna Sesame salad which came with a generous perfectly cooked piece of tuna, the the butternut squash ravioli which was outstanding. Great service at the bar, next time we will sit on the patio, it looks like an awesome view from there.

Amazing place with tasty food and very courteous service! We did not have a recommended reservation but decided to try this restaurant for early dinner around 5 pm on a weeknight. We were seated right away and in a beautiful outdoor location. While we were waiting for our food which arrived in a very reasonable time, we were treated to a gorgeous sunset, which we watched right from our table. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will plan to eat there again when we visit Sedona next time.

You'll regret NOT stopping here to eat! The view alone is worth going here, but EVERYTHING was perfect. The service was quick and everyone was so nice, food was amazing (although we only had the fried chicken burgers, which were SO good, everything coming out of the kitchen looked unbelievable). We were just sad we were full as we wanted to try so many things on the menu! Likely going back 1 more time before we head home...yes it's that good!

My husband and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night and it was busy with a 45-60 minute wait. We had a reservation, but ended up coming early and waiting which was fine as we just had a drink from the bar during that time. The service was great and the food was AMAZING! Like super amazing! I was very pleased with every bite of my meal! The presentation was great and unique as well. Absolutely recommend the Hudson for a nice night out!

All around a great spot in Sedona. The view was spectacular, great service, and excellent food. For appetizers, we had Chef Jeff's Famous Corn Chowder - it had an unexpected kick, but we loved it. We also had the Steamed Clams - great taste and presentation. For entrées, we had the Salmon and Chicken Pot Pie.

Had a very nice meal here. Reserved table online. We arrived a little early, but they promptly took us to our table. Service great, food amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Where do I start… the food? To die for! The photos do it justice for how good it tastes. Plus we ate the artichoke appetizer so fast I didn’t even get a photo. I’m drooling writing this and seeing the pictures. The service? REMARKABLE. Being in the industry I’m hard to please but Alex, our server, blew me away. His hospitality was fantastic! I don’t know if I’ve ever had a better experience. He was great at recommendations, he was honest about the menu items we had questions about, patient with the 7 year old we had with us (mind you we were the only group with a kid in the whole restaurant), funny and simply genuine! The atmosphere? Comfortable and cozy. Not too light, not too dark. We all really enjoyed our experience. The best place to start for our first stop, the first night we got to Sedona!

Not captured: Four cheese spinach and roasted artichoke dip, garlic bread, prickly pear bbq ribs, and kids Mac n cheese. So DAMN tasty!! 😋

One of the most well-rounded restaurants I’ve been to. Very clean and neutral atmosphere with a wonderful view. The food is very high quality and tasty as well. Most everything on the menu seems worthwhile and the steak was surprisingly good. I always get the Hudson Mushroom Burger though as it is exceptional. The garlic aioli is killer. Went here before proposing to my fiancée. Thank you!

Very fun and upscale restaurant with amazing views of Sedona. The burgers are served on a very tasty French bread roll. The service was immaculate and courteous. Great dessert. Would love to return.

The Hudson is the reason we come to Sedona all the way from Minnesota 😂 it’s absolutely amazing. My husband always gets the Bison Burger, which is loaded to the brim with goodness. He also tried the stuffed shrimp which he said was amazing. And I always get bruschetta - it’s truly the best bruschetta I’ve ever had. The crispy chicken sandwich is fabulous - was actually crispy and topped with a honey mustard coleslaw. So good! This time I tried the chicken caprese sandwich and wow - not surprised, it was fantastic. The chicken was actually juicy. Our service has always been great there, and you can’t beat the view from the patio! We go at least once (if not more!) while we stay in Sedona. It’s perfect for an upscale dining experience. Highly recommend!

Really excellent food. Beautiful views but if you want to sit outside you should get a reservation. Happy hour deals available during the week for a few dollars off drinks. Prices are high but the quality was great and well worth it.

The view alone is enough reason to eat here. And to pair it with the amazing menu and fantastic service make this a truely wonderful place to eat! Plenty of items to pic from and all delicious! Even just the cheese burger I got was not only delicious but was served beautifully. Got to give this place a try if you're around.

Didn't make a res so it was either a 45 min wait or eat at the bar. We chose the latter. Plenty of room. Nice service. Chose their chicken pot pie which is one of their "go-to" comfort foods. Absolutely, positively the best I've ever had. Huge pie; finished half and took the rest home for next day's dinner.

I freaking love this place. I’ve been twice and we plan on coming again Friday.

I’ve tried the bruschetta, swordfish sandwich, ahi tuna sandwich, and the ahi tuna salad and ALL were amazing.

The swordfish is charred on a fluffy bread. The coleslaw adds a good crunch. The ahi tuna sandwich is fresh with a generous amount of avocado. The ahi tuna salad is just as fresh, nice portion of tuna, and full of flavour. The fries are to die for; skinny and really crunchy. I got the swordfish sandwich twice and both times it was high quality.

The staff is also SO friendly and attentive. My water was never low. We ordered two entrees to split and the staff generously split our dishes in the kitchen into two. Everyone seems genuinely happy to be working there and it shows through the food and service.

I am seriously shocked by how good the food is given how large the restaurant is.

Note: they don’t take tap or Apple Pay. Luckily one of us had a card but we generally rely on tap so it would nice to see The Hudson upgrade their systems.

Overall, HIGHLY recommend.

Favorite restaurant in Sedona! We visit Sedona yearly, and The Hudson is always our first stop for dinner, and often the last as well. From the well appointed bar, to cozy dining room, to patio with stunning views, this is the best place for a bite to eat. We have eaten nearly everything on the menu and each offering is better than the last. Their chef, Jeff, is the absolute best and continuously makes time to interact with guests. The Deconstructed Banana Pie is one of the best desserts I have ever had and recommend if even stopping by for something sweet!

The food & service was excellent. Also, the food looks exactly like the pictures on their website. I was very pleased with everything I ordered. I got the kale salad, the southwest chicken pasta and the artichoke dip. I loved everything. I definitely recommend The Hudson.

This is absolutely a gem and top dining destination in Sedona. The food is top shelf, with creative flavor combinations and deliberate, beautiful presentation. The swordfish and pork chops were delicious, but it was actually the perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables on the plate that were so impressive to me. The drinks are strong, and the dessert menu includes the best bread pudding I've ever tasted. We also truly appreciated the full booth by the window for our reservation for two. It was a wonderful, romantic dinner out, and we will be back for more.

We were completely surprised by this place it's like a watering hole with top-notch food.. It has food to die for... I ate a Ravioli type dish it was delicious the best I've ever eaten My partner ate salmon.. It's absolutely delicious

Fantastic food, views and service. The bison burger, bruschetta, deconstructed banana cream pie was delish!

Update: we came back, enjoyed our experience once again. The steak and blue chop salad, and chocolate chunk skookie avalanche was so bomb!

I would give this place a 10/5 if I could. First time in Sedona and this was the perfect night cap/ dinner to our day trip. We got the whipped feta for an app, it was DEVINE! Ordered the Salmon scallopini, the chicken scallopini, and the kale salad. All three entrees were split among three people and was the perfect amount with no leftovers. Our server, Ashley, was incredible. The views are breathtaking. And make sure you get the butter cake for dessert!
