We had our taxes done by Matt in 2019 and he showed we owed 3000 to the IRS. We paid by check. Two years later we received a letter stating that we didn't file our taxes. We called Matt back and he stated that they had a data breach and we had to file them manually, and we did that. We then received a letter from the IRS stating they found a mistake and we were owed 2700, but it's been passed 3 years so we were out of luck. We had another cpa look at our taxes and he said that there was a mistake made. We contacted Matt and he stated that the IRS is the one that changed our taxes and we are out of luck. I would not go to a CPA that makes a mistake and will no own up to it. He should reimburse us the money owed and the price we paid to do our taxes there. Buyer beware.
