Pittsburg Campground

Wow!!! My father had always told me stories of this place and I finally made it. This place is amazing. Although I didn't camp here, I did visit and the place was truly amazing! I would highly recommend it.

For a rural out of the way campgrounds it was clean and well taken care of. There is an area on the other side of the bathrooms to change. You can hear the creek go by.

Clean, quiet. Its probably pretty busy during the fishing, boating, and hunting seasons. RV spaces are farther apart than most FS campgrounds. Water spigets spaced throughout. It is desert climate. Road access is very good but requires compound low gearing for your trailer.

$8 a night. An exciting road into the camp. Use low gear and save your brakes. Boat ramp to Snake River, Hells Canyon.

Annual Easter camp out, great fun great great views!!!

One of my favorite ramps to stop at along the snake. I always pick a bunch of blackberries and the bathrooms are always clean

The drive is challenging for some but is beautiful. The weather is nice there when it isn't always so nice other places. The camping facilities are great and the fishing is always fun!
