We loved Swiftwater RV Park. Now, with that said, here are some items to consider. The park is small, but quaint! The sites are gravel, but very level. It is peaceful and the summer camp hosts were amazing!

We hit the jackpot in Western Idaho with Swiftwater RV Park. The park, and our site, back right up to the Salmon River. There is a path to a nice beach where you can bring a chair or lounge and cool off in the river. We are 43’ and could back right up with the view out our window but had to park our truck in the overflow which was no big deal. They have showers/ laundry etc. super nice surprise is the covered grilling area with picnic tables and the covered fire pit gazebo. The owners and camp hosts are all amazing. Water and electric hookups with a dump station (again, right on the river so I’m sure regulations don’t allow sewer that close to the river). We were nicely shaded. Side to side the spots are a bit close together but our space out the back made up for that. Again, highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful place in Western Idaho.

Great place to wake up in the morning! So clean and friendly! The bathrooms were a delight, clean, well stocked and well maintained. Laundry was so convenient. Love the lending library of both books and videos. River access was great, enjoyed the rocks and the sandy beach. We even had great neighbors!

Pam and her husband run an awesome little RV park right on the Salmon River. As I write this I'm sitting under a vented Gazebo with a beautiful firepit watching the Salmon River flow. Very clean bathrooms, shower and Laundry room. We're traveling across the United States on bicycles, sleeping in a tent and they have been very accommodating. They have a covered pavilion with several picnic tables and a gas grill. Great setting, relaxing and an awesome experience.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay very much. We were very lucky and did not have neighbors on either side. The internet strength is stellar. I had a video conference that went off without a hitch. The bath and laundry facility is very CLEAN. I even did laundry, which I don't do unless I'm very comfortable with the cleanliness. Great job Bill and Pam!

Swiftwater RV Park had all the amenities we needed. We tent camped one night and the shared BBQ and fire pit were perfect. There is also a little beach on the property that was beautiful to walk to.

Pam was tremendous to work with and provided great recommendations for the White Fish area.

Beautiful spot to stay on the Salmon River. Our site backed right up to it. And fabulous wifi. We could actually stream our tv. Probably because cell service was sketchy. Campground host was quite helpful getting us situated. There isnt much in White Bird - okay with us - we were there to explore the wilderness. Driving distance to Pittsburg Landing and Heavens Gate Overlooks. Waterfront sites are tight as expected. Only downside was a large group of rafters that showed up late, put their tent five feet from our trailer, and the group trashed the bathrooms. I assume this a rare ocurrence as the rest of the park is so well cared for.

We spent 2 nights here recently. This was our 7th. campground on this trip and the most pleasant experience we've had so far. Bill and Pam have personalities perfectly suited for being campground hosts. Extraordinarily interesting people. Pam even offers chair massages for $1.00. a minute. I thought she was careless with the time and gave me a few minutes more than I paid for. Very clean and well maintained facilities, On the banks of the Salmon River and a 45 minute drive to Hell's Canyon. Small but quaint. We have a 34' class A. It's a bit tight but completely manageable. My neighbor there drove a 44 footer with a tow vehicle. A no brainer!

Great high quality RV Park! We spent 5 nights here in early June, perfect time of the season. They have 2 bathrooms equipped with shower stalls that are very well maintained. Laundry machines. They sell bags of ice. There is also a dump station. The camp hosts are very nice and helpful and they have an ice cream social on Saturday evenings. The RV park is on the river and is about a mile from the town of White Bird. The town has a very small General Store with many essential items. The park has a communal fire pit and covered eating area with a grill. Each site is large and are equipped with 30A, 50A and 110V power and municipal water. We had a wonderful time and would definitely book again!

Final stop for our trip, wanted something quiet and peaceful - this place nailed it. Small RV park right on the Salmon River. There are limited spots, and there were only three of us there (end of season), so we had the pick of spots. It was great to stop, sit outside, listen to the river and enjoy a BBQ for our last night on the road. The entry is a bit tricky - very, very tight left hand turn, but there is a gravel lot directly across from the entrance, so you can utilize that lot to navigate the turn - they will include this information when they confirm your reservation so there are no surprises! Be sure to check out Google Maps in Satellite mode to make sure you understand the entry.

We had an awesome overnight tent stay! They are tent friendly, the hosts are great, clean facilities. We were able to camp overlooking the river and listened to the water all night. I highly recommend!

I have stayed at this lovely spot on the Salmon River at Anna's and Duane's beautiful RV Park many many times over the last few years. It is never a disappointment....I always receive a wonderful welcome and enjoy the beautiful scenery and this clean park. The bathrooms, laundry room (you can even hop on an exercise bicycle if you have a mind) are immaculate. There is even a large covered area for BBQ, picnic tables and a beautiful gazebo right above the river with a large fire pit that has seen many fantastic fires, where guests enjoy meeting other campers. Thanks again, Anna and Duane for your wonderful hospitality!

From the moment we got there, we felt that our comfort was a priority to Pamela and Bill. They made sure that our arrangements were satisfactory and pointed out all the local places to go. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. We even got treated to a fire under the gazebo. We will definitely go back to this campground!

What a wonderful little camping and RV ground. The Salmon river, literally at our backyard was beautiful in the evenings as the sun set and the owners are very nice and approachable. The bathrooms/showers are the best I’ve seen in any campgrounds so far and it was more like showering at home than a campground. Great place and great people.

We made our maiden voyage camping trip (on Mother's day weekend) in our brand new (and 1st ever) travel trailer. We absolutely loved the property. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept. The owners are extremely nice people. We had a spot right in front of the river which was awesome! We came back again (Father's Day weekend) in our 2nd new trailer (we realized we needed more living space) and had another fabulous weekend. The kids played in the water. We had direct access to roads to ride our UTV into the Hells Canyon area. It is one of my favorite places to get away from it all. I highly recommend it!

We stayed here for 3 nights. The owners are very nice and know a lot about the area. Our spot was near the river. The grounds are well maintained. Trees, grass, water and power. Also, Bathrooms with showers are available. HOT water..available most too hot to shower in, but very nice. There is also coin op laundry. There is a large gazibo with a fire pit for all to use, as well as a covered pic nic area that can be reserved. BBQ included. No individual fire pits, but the one that is shared is large. I enjoyed visiting with new people.

Loved this campground. Right on the Salmon river bank. Excellent clean, individual bathrooms. As there are only two though, think an extra cloakroom would be very useful.
Campground was clean and tidy and not cramped as some are, with plenty of shady spots and an enormous camp kitchen area.
The gazebo was great for chatting with other campers.
The little town of Whitebird is maybe a couple of miles away. We did walk there one day, didnt realise how hot it was and how much of a hill there was to climb until we were about half way there. We had a couple of beers in the outfitters that was also a bar. Went for a walk around the town then back to the bar for another beer to help us on our way back to the campground. The lovely young lady who was single handedly running the bar etc insisted in shutting up and giving us a lift back to the campground. I love this part if the US.

The park owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The park is right on the Salmon River with stairs down to the river. The sites are grabel and level and can be back in or pull in forward to see the river. The river sites are double wide so your neighbor may be close depending on the size of the rigs. The bathrooms are individual with showers. The bathrooms and laundry we're immaculate, some of the nicest we have encountered in any RV park.

We did not have any AT&T cell service in the area and the camp wifi was difficult to maintain a connection at our site. The wifi was better by the office but the best use was just for checking email. We would stay here again.

Anna and Duane run a very nice RV Park close to the Salmon River. We met up with our group before heading to the put in for the Lower Salmon. They have a laundry room, two bathrooms with showers and provide a shelter with a BBQ gas grill. My husband came off the raft trip with a leg injury and Anna called around until she found a room for us. This was around 9:30 pm when most of the hotels were closed for the night. I would definitely recommend Swiftwater RV Park to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
