Cozy Cactus Resort (sorta/kinda)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cozy Cactus and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was captivated by the adorable Southwestern style and cozy atmosphere. The location was perfect, offering a wonderful view of the surrounding area.

The hosts were incredibly sweet and made sure that every detail was taken care of. The little amenities provided were not only cute but also very thoughtful. From the Q-tips to the fresh ground coffee, they truly thought of it all.

One of the highlights of my stay was waking up to the amazing view outside. It was truly breathtaking and added an extra touch of tranquility to my mornings.

I would highly recommend the Cozy Cactus to anyone looking for a charming and comfortable getaway. The combination of the great review, cute Southwestern style, wonderful location, sweet hosts, cute little amenities, and amazing view make it a perfect choice for a memorable stay.

I was blown away by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail evident in my entire stay. Anything you could possibly need was thought of and available to you. SO many extras come free with your stay. Carrie and Terry are the sweetest hosts and made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. If you're lucky, you may have the chance to get to know them. Lastly, the homemade muffins may have been the highlight of my stay. Everything about this stay is indeed cozy!

We (four women) had a 20 year reunion here. Carrie and Terry went out of their way to make our stay amazing. The complimentary coffee and daily breakfast burritos and muffins were so appreciated. The suite was spotless, comfortable, with a spectacular patio for evening happy hour around the fire pit. The best part was that we could wake up in the morning and right out the backdoor go for a hike! The entire stay was above our expectations! Thank you so much Carrie and Terry!

We loved everything about our stay in the Cozy Cactus from the moment we walked in. Carrie communicated with us the day before and we even got an upgrade to Sedona Sky condo which was awesome! The entire place is so beautifully decorated, inside and out, very comfy and cozy, has everything you need and more. We loved the patio sculptures, plentiful sitting areas, fire pit, gorgeous views and the trail right outside of our room. Nice touches everywhere like ponchos, welcome bottle of wine, snacks, bottled water, delicious muffins and burritos, we didn’t want for anything but the longer stay! We will definitely be back, this place is perfect👍

We held my parents joint 70th/60th birthday at the Cozy Cactus! We rented out the whole place and it was a truly spectacular time. The views are incredible, hiking is right outside the door, Carrie and Terry were expert hosts and easy to get a hold of. If you’re looking for the ultimate Sedona experience with a large group- definitely stay here!

Cozy is the perfect word to describe this "cactus." The accomodations are comfortable, well equipped, and playful. The hosts are thoughtful and attentive. We loved the location, homemade breakfast choices, the view out our windows, and hiking access right out the back door. Unless you're looking for a chain resort experience, book and enjoy your stay.

My husband and I truly can’t say enough good things about our stay at Cozy Cactus. Terry was so welcoming and had a basket waiting for us upon our arrival with snacks, drinks, maps, books about the area, and anything and everything you’d need for an amazing stay. The breakfasts were amazing- fresh fruit and yogurt/granola was our choice but we also tried a gift card option for a great and walkable breakfast place. Freshly baked muffins were also delivered daily- the cornbread jalapeño ones were addictive! There were multiple times we passed other (some probably ten times the price) resorts/hotels/bnb’s throughout our stay and literally said to each other, “I’m so glad we stayed at the cozy cactus instead of there!” Everything we needed for our stay: comfortable, AMAZING VIEWS, kind hosts, knowledge of the area and great food. We’d never stay anywhere else after staying at cozy cactus!

Very clean and well appointed. The place had everything from a nice grille on the patio to a gourmet kitchen.
The breakfasts were terrific and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Hiking trails start right off the patio.

Spectacular views! Our first (but not last) visit to the Cozy Cactus! The hosts are amazing—providing us mouthwatering breakfast every morning. We were greeted with wine, snacks, information for hiking and things to do. The house was clean and the king beds were comfy!

My husband and I stayed in the Courthouse for 5 nights. It was such a beautiful and relaxing location... we didn't want to leave! The views are stunning, the house is very well-appointed and the people are nice! We asked for some tour and dining advice both before and during our stay. Terry and Carrie were quick with their replies and provided amazing recommendations! I highly recommend the Cozy Cactus for anyone needing a break from the stress of everyday life!

If there were more stars for service, I would have given them. We felt so comfortable and “at home”. Such a warm welcome. We hope to be back again soon! Thanks for an incredible stay. God bless you.

Can't say enough good things about Cozy. We changed our plans to go back and get one more night here on our trip. Fantastic people, location, experience. A hiker's and off-road biker's dream. We're the former.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cactus. There were four of us and we chose the cowboy suite. Perfect size for all of us. Great views. Very quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the back patio to enjoy our coffee and some wildlife viewing. Mark and his staff were very accommodating and we felt like friends by the time we left. Definitely recommend this B&B.

If you are looking for a relaxing, comfortable, centrally-located, no-frills BnB experience... Look no further. Book at Cozy Cactus. My husband and I have never visited Sedona so were full of questions and Mark (co-owner, host, breakfast master and muffin czar) was full of honest answers. The rooms were clean, well thought through and full of amenities you didn't even know you needed (guide books, Red Rock passes, tea, coffee, microwave popcorn, etc). And the view... the best place for your morning coffee or wine at the end of a long hike. What impressed me most was that all the other people staying at the Cozy Cactus were return guests. That gives you an idea how once you come to Cozy, you don't ever want to try any place else. We are looking forward to becoming regulars! Until next time Cozy Cactus!

I can’t say enough good things about this awesome B&B. The caretakers are very friendly and personable, and Mark “The Muffin Czar” earns his namesake, with a delicious new offering every morning to complement the delicious yogurt parfaits and local coffee. The location can’t be beat, with the best hiking trails in the region starting right behind the house. It was an easy and scenic 10 minute drive to get to most places in Sedona, and I liked being outside the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of town. We stayed in the Vortex room with a private balcony overlooking Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte, and I just couldn’t get over the view. The room was clean, cozy and spacious… perfect for a couples trip. I really hope we are able to return to this beautiful place!

We had an amazing one week stay! The location is perfect with the breathtaking views and hiking trails right out the back door. The rooms were very comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious. Attention to every detail to make our stay more enjoyable was evident at every turn. Outside the rooms are table/chairs, bird feeders and fire pits while admiring the awesome view. We had access to a complete book of area hikes, menus of local restaurants, a Red Rocks parking pass, cooler, cards, games and more. Our room had a very comfortable king bed, comfortable colored towels, coffee/tea, microwave, mini fridge, dishes and a jar of "Cozy Snax". The breakfasts were delicious and hand made. As great as the view and amenities were, the best part of our stay was the hospitality of the owner, Mark Peterson!

A fantastic location for nature lovers and hikers! The Cozy Cactus is full of laid back comforts and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The view of Bell Rock is unbeatable, as well as the access to trails right beyond the patio. We saw many different birds visiting the feeders and javelinas while sipping our fresh and delicious coffee. Mark provides excellent hospitality. This was our first visit to Sedona. We really enjoyed being tucked away out of the hustle and bustle. This place is a gem!
