Absolutely love this ski resort.

Excellent staff. In my 50+ years of skiing I have never experienced such friendly, kind service. Everywhere I turned when I asked a question or I was trying to find where I was going I was met with friendly knowlwdgable people.

The food at the dining halls was very good Prices were reasonable not too crazy.

This is a beautiful resort and a gorgeous setting. The runs are very nice, and it was great to be at a place where I didn't have to wait a long time in line. Such a great thing considering you pay $200 a day to ski. Many of the runs that need to be groomed or groomed, as it had just stormed the night before

Can't wait to come back!

Fabulous ladies' getaway! Luxury and so beautiful, with wonderful, friendly staff. Kudos to Maurine at the spa, she gave me the most incredible facial, best I have ever received. The spa shower experience was incredible. Floating in the swimming pool, surrounded snow covered mountains was fabulous. Food (breakfast and dinner)in Gretchens' was perfect and the service was superb. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you!

We stayed at the Wildflower condo and they had beautiful views! Food at resort was really good but a little pricey. My daughter really enjoyed her pedicure at the Spa

Historical Sun Valley feel. Great food and drinks amid comfy coutches and chairs, amid fireplaces, if you want to, or a traditional dining area. Very nice hot tub and heated pool. Gym, sauna, and ice skating rink round out the resort. Great staff everywhere and shopping and other dining available at a village 300 feet from resort.

Just to say Sun Valley Resort it needs no more. It is a high end destination year round. Great for travelers either family, friends, couples or singles. Outdoor activities all around the area. This makes Sun Valley the jewel of Idaho.

Had a nice time staying here. Room was much bigger than expected. Bathroom was large. In room gas fireplace. Pool was great and drink service at the pool was fast. Frequent busses to town and the mountain.

Charming. Comfortable beds. Great bathroom suite. Pool and hot tub set up was fun and relaxing. I visited in March for a conference when there was still snow but just after ski season ended so it was not crowded. Little shops on site are fun but expensive. There’s a nice cafe w delicious pastries and good coffee. Great place to attend a professional conference. I imagine it’s super convenient to ski all day and return to the lodge which is close to the ski resort.

We attended an event here and had a wonderful stay. Then I accidentally forgot my clothes in the closet. I remembered the clothes after we were 200 miles away. I called and spoke with Jackson, who handled every detail in getting my forgotten shirts and slacks back to me, checking with me along the process and never dropping the ball. That's when I knew I would always come back to the Sun Valley Inn. Thanks, Jackson!

Classy resort at reasonable off-season prices. Valet and greeters at the main doors are a nice touch. We got a room on the first floor above the bowling alley. which is in the basement. It took a couple of days to realize we are hearing sounds from bowling alley thinking it's maid service rolling their carts around constantly. Luckily the bowling alley closes at 10pm or it would be hard to sleep.

Beautiful little village with great spots to eat! Konditorei is our top pick for a great breakfast or brunch. Hotel is self is very nice with an ice skating rink right outside in the back. Love the ducks and swans in the front. The downside to staying at this resort for skiing is if you are looking for easy to the slopes you will not find that here. Unless you are skiing dollar mountain for beginners. To the actual big mountain you need to take a shuttle and a bus to get you to the slopes. So be prepared. But overall a very nice resort.

Beautiful scenery! The amneties are terrific, nice shops, great food. All around it's wonderfully amazing from start to finish. Both indoor and outdoor ice rinks. And did I mention the parks are groomed beautifully?!

We've been to the lodge before, but we wanted to bring our adult children to experience Sun Valley. Stayed at the Lodge and the experience was just as good as the last time we visited almost 4 years ago. The outdoor pool is awesome as it's heated to 95 degrees! Visited the SPA and pampered ourselves. Rooms were very nicely updated. We will be back for more of the resort and the skiing.

Classic resort with sprawling grounds. Charming front entry and comfortable lounge. Staff was courteous, warm and helpful. Hallways are plastered with it's long list of Celeb visits and brings an interesting touch of historic interest.
The room was large and the bed was cozy.
Pool, sauna, biking, hiking, and spa all at your fingertips. This is a wonderful get away. Great for a weekend, especially if you are an Idahoan.

Enjoyed the balconies during our stay in one of the celebrity suites. They have nice furniture with umbrellas for shade and one overlooks the ice rink. The lodge staff was friendly and service was fast.

Can't say enough about this place. We were here as guest of a medical conference and we had a great experience. You need to reserve a time for the pool and it was a little hard not having a late checkout option, but i understand because the place is a high demand resort. The facilities were clean and fun. The room was beautiful.

Fantastic place to stay in stunning landscape. Rooms so comfortable, hotel quiet and peaceful. Outdoor ice rink on site. Airport shuttle. More vegetarian options on menu would be appreciated. Love this hotel.
