Amara Resort and Spa

One of the best massages I have ever had was with Kimberly. She was so lovely, kind and full of positive energy. Her massage skills are unmatched! I work in 5 star hospitality and recognize great service which I received from the beginning. Brittany who runs the front desk was so friendly and professional. She made sure I found the perfect time for my treatment to fit it into my schedule. I definitely want the management of Amara spa to know, that you have some excellent employees working for you, which is especially hard to find these days!

Visited Amara with a friend to celebrate her birthday, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The Amara team went above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome, with the hostess even singing "Happy Birthday" upon our arrival during the check-in process. They offered a personalized selection of wines, charcuterie boards, and desserts tailored to the occasion. The attention to detail continued throughout our stay, with our special requests remembered, making us feel truly valued. Despite the secluded location, the staff were always helpful in arranging transportation when needed. The amenities were top-notch, and the views of the canyon were breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner at Amara were highlights, with fresh and delicious selections. For a serene retreat, I would return to Amara in a heartbeat.

Pleasantly surprised with my stay after reading some negative reviews. Really beautiful resort- the pool and hot tub were magical and the creek is just below so if you fancy a cold plunge it's quite refreshing (even in January). Loved the complimentary mountain bike loan as well. Beautiful room, lovely service- yes a little pricey for the average person- but worth the splurge.

My fiancé and I got a couples 90 minute massage at the spa. I cannot say enough good things about the spa! My masseuse was Erica. She was absolutely incredible. I can honestly say it’s the best massage I’ve received. Highly recommend!

Kissed up on Oak Creek, the Amara offers a platinum stay and experience, nestled in the heart of Sedona. Their restaurant, Salt Rock, is one greater establishments and breakfast cafes Sedona has to offer as well. Free Valet, super nice guys. They took great care of my vehicle. Please make sure you tip. The hosts and guest services are friendly and bring a warming joy and feel at the Amara. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The shower pressure and temperature were superb. I had a difficult time leaving the hotel to begin my hikes. I look forward to my return. Billy and Gio can make a mean Margarita. 🔥

My mom and I booked an afternoon at the spa and all I can say is WOW!! You are greeted by valet car service who park your car complimentary. Next, you walk into the cute lobby where the receptionist shows you all around. It was so relaxing and clean in the changing and relaxation rooms, nothing out of place! I had the Therapeutic massage with James and it was hands down the best massage I have ever received! His kindness and expertise are nothing short of incredible! All the essential oils and lotions elevated the experience even more with cold water and snacks ready for you afterwards. 10/10 recommend Amara spa for anyone who comes to visit Sedona!!!

Customer service was 10/10, everyone we came in contact with was so friendly and accommodating. The location of the resort is perfect - within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Our room had a creekside view and was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is walking distance from everything and pet friendly. We enjoyed walking alongside the creek with our dog. The food is great although a bit pricey. Love the warm pool that overlooks the creek. Have stayed here twice and will stay again.

My Fiancee set up an appointment for a couples massage, which was set up with Lindsey. Lindsey was very professional and helpful throughout the massage, and I walked away relaxed. The facility was spotless, and the staff was very friendly.

We had an amazing experience at this resort! Centrally located, attentive staff, excellent restaurants with the best craft cocktails, and a gorgeous view every day. Be sure and check out the creek area, which is so peaceful. Loved the spa and the night time activities. Pool and hot tub were perfect, even in November. Will definitely return!

This hotel is an absolute dream. We had a large suite with an adjoining bedroom attached over looking the creek with three separate balconies. I cannot say enough about this hotel. They have a beautiful hidden creek with an amazing swing that will go down in history as one of my most relaxing vacation moments. The infinity pool with gorgeous views was absolutely breathtaking. Service and friendliness was top notch. Our two daughters had a blast. I can’t wait to come back. Top ten favorite hotels we have ever stayed at. Thank you Amara.

Absolutely perfect! This resort is in the best location possible with the best views by far! The service is immaculate & if you ever need to hold a special event somewhere do it here! They are so great to work with & my partner & I honestly could not of asked for a better stay, cannot recommend this stay enough!

It's a really nice place for sure. My husband and I just went to visit for a week. The location was great and all the staff was super friendly.

This resort was perfect! I loved every part of my stay and I look forward to returning. The salt water pool and wave effect made it very soothing and relaxing. We took full advantage of the golf-cart ride up and down the hill, very helpful. The rooms were clean and up to date. Although you can hear surrounded noises while in your room, it was still a comfortable stay. If visiting the hotel restaurant, be sure to order the scallops, so delicious! I am excited for my next trip!

What a wonderful resort experience in a beautiful place. The rooms, amenities, and pool are all top quality. I was most impressed by the friendliness and hospitality of the resort staff. They really made the stay amazing!

We also took advantage of the spa services. The facilities are tranquil and clean, and the therapists are fantastic. While you definitely pay for the quality, it is well worth it.

I am writing this review before even leaving because this hotel is the spot! If you are looking for luxury, excellent customer service, and the most dog friendly hotel ever, you found it. The rooms are clean and beds are super comfortable (we have a king room), and we over look the pool and creek. The pool is delightful, infinity style, overlooking the creek, and there are cabana to rent. Highly recommend. I have already called all my family and friends to tell them we are coming here. Do yourself a favor and go to the spa, get the Winds of Change treatment to balance your chakras and set yourself up for success! This boutique hotel is everything you want and need.

Went to Sedona to celebrate 2 21st birthdays on mom daughter girls trip. This resort has the kindest workers, and want to give a shout-out to Erin Camacho. She was the nicest sweetest employee in the restaurant, Salt Rock (which is excellent!) and went out of her way to make sure we had all we need! Rosemary at the front desk also gave fabulous recommendations and was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel was in the perfect location. They offer golf cart rides that take you right to uptown Sedona and you can walk and shop the entire town. The view from the pool and lobby/restaurant is absolutely amazing, perfect view of the red rocks.

Fantastic employees! From the valet greeting you and safely parking your car to the fun bartenders and friendly servers.

Amazing, absolutely gorgeous. Everything was perfect. The location was awesome, except the hill for the parking lot, but it was a good workout. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant were great and the staff were awesome. The views were incredible and the outdoor area is perfect, except when we were there, they had an emergency pool repair and it was shut down, but that stuff happens. I would definitely stay here again.
