What a wonderful experience! Children are often afraid of going to the dentist (particularly new ones). Everyone at this office put extra effort in making our daughter feel at ease. They explained everything to her in terms she could easily understand. They also allowed her to watch a movie which kept her distracted most of the time.
For us as parents, the experience was amazing because we were able to sit in the room and watch. But even more amazing was all the new updated technology. X-RAYS and high resolution photos that were just taken were made available on a large screen so we all could see the amazing work done.
Dr Lucas is a very personable dentist. Very friendly and easy to talk to. This is a top notch dental facility he has put together. We strongly recommend Dental Care at Red Rocks Canyon for everyone.

Dr. Lucas and his staff was very helpful. My dad had emergency walk in and they took us in right away got everything figured out for us. I was very satisfied with everything. Very friendly clean I highly recommend this place for those who needs a new dental place great for families too. I will definitely be going back and sign up for their plans.

Beautiful office, awesome location, and literally the best team ever. Very knowledgeable, skilled, and personable- they do a phenomenal job every time. Where they stand out miles (hundreds of miles) above the rest is that they truly do care. I am incredibly hesitant and nervous about dental work and when it comes to emotions/phobias like this, they absolutely do not take a "one size fits all" approach. They take the time to fully understand your apprehensions to be able to provide the best personalized care possible. Because of them, I am no longer dodging dental care, and my oral health is finally on point, which everyone knows leads to much better overall health and quality of life. This team is genuinely the best.

I had my first appointment today at Dental Care at Red Rock Canyon and had a great experience! Scheduling an appointment was super quick and easy. I was able to do the paperwork online beforehand. The appointment itself was a very positive experience. I’m definitely looking forward to my next checkup in six months!

Anyone living in manitou looking for a great dentist with easy access should give this place a try. It’s a brand new facility with great equipment and super friendly staff. Dr. Lucas recently replaced my crown and did a perfect job. But more important for me, he took the time to explain the whole process and answer all my questions. He never acts rushed and takes his time with each patient.

Everyone at Dental Care at Red Rock Canyon was so welcoming! I went in for some dental work after having sensitivity on a tooth and left so happy with the results! I am no longer having any pain! There was little to no discomfort during the procedure. Dr. Lucas and his assistant, Noehly provided excellent customer service and made me feel so comfortable. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. If you are looking for an experienced Dentist with a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go!

Dr. Lucas and team are simply amazing. Being in the center of a much needed jaw surgery, I found Dr. Lucas’ knowledge and professional connections (referrals) to be priceless. After speaking to me thoroughly regarding my needs, Dr. Lucas gave me a stellar treatment plan and an awesome deep cleaning. 7 pm on a Friday night...
My crown pops out. Yikes! Knowing it is not a life and death emergency, but not wanting to wait long to get it back in, we started calling Dentists first thing Saturday morning to get it put back in.

Only one dentist office answered their phone, and they were booked until Thursday. No offer of waiting list, no accommodation for emergency treatments.

Thankfully, Dr Lucas called us back and said, are you in pain, are you alright?
He said he would get us in first thing Monday, unless I was hurting and then he would meet us at the office as soon as we could make it on Saturday.
We made an appointment for first thing Monday, he asked us to do the paperwork online before we got there so he could work on my tooth right away and he was amazing.

So is Ashly his assistant. She called to verify my appointment first thing Monday and to let us know they had received the paperwork.
Dr Lucas is kind, sensitive, gentle and fixed me right up, and my crown too! He is the ultimate in caring, compassion and positivity you want in a dentist.

We had just moved back to Colorado Springs and found out my previous dentist had retired so we NEEDED a new dentist.
It will definitely be Dr Lucas Castillo at Dental Care at Red Rock Canyon.
He is less than a mile from our home and conveniently located right between Manitou and Old Colorado City on Colorado Ave.
He is a gem! Knowing he will do emergency treatments after hours and on weekends brings a sense of relief and a knowing that he truly cares about his patients.

If you need a new dentist or are looking for a change of dentists, look no more! Give Dr Lucas a call. You will be so glad you did! We sure are!!!

I broke a tooth today and was able to get my fillings scheduled today as well, the whole process was so smooth, the environment was very clean, and Lucas was so professional. He communicated with me through the process and made it very easy, overall it was a very pleasant visit and I will be using them for my future dental needs, THANKS GUYS!!! ❤

I am very happy that I was referred to this dental office! The service was friendly and competent throughout! I kinda wish a few of my past dentists would have been this good at making the whole (oh boy, I gotta go to the dentist)experience better... but... if they were better, I never would have come here... so...

Another Review: Really appreciate Dr Castillo getting me in today to have a cracked wisdom tooth diagnosed. We decided to pull the tooth. I was impressed in Dr. Castillo checking my insurance to find out my coverage while I was in the chair. I felt no pain during extraction procedure. Kelsey, Dental Assistant, provided excellent care during procedure and taking my before and after xrays. I felt very safe and comfortable during the whole procedure and the Hawaiian ocean video was nice! I was at home relaxing this eve, and Dr. Castillo called to follow-up and ask how I was doing. Very impressed with the level of care Dental Care gives! Thanks again!

Incredible professionalism and amazing staff. Was in a bind with an infected tooth, Googled "best dentist in Colorado Springs" and based off several solid reviews, I gave this office a shot. I cannot recommend this place enough! I have never had such a wonderful dental experience. The staff is so pleasant and knowledgeable, they always let me know what's happening with my teeth in a way I actually understand. The clinic is beautiful, clean, and has the latest and greatest in equipment. The cost is VERY reasonable for the quality of care recieved. Thank you all for being the best in the Springs by far!!!

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Need I say more? Can't wait to go back to see doc and his lovely assistant again.... Best cleaning I have ever had in 50 years (69 years young) I am looking into having doc 'Lucas' replacing my very old and ugly silver (now dark gray) fillings and couple of old caps with newest tech porcelain... He's the best! In my opinion! Check him out... you'll be very happy you did 🙂

I had all the previously mentioned upgrades completed - 6 ugly old silver (dark gray) fillings replaced with white and 2 old caps with porcelain caps... and I couldn't be happier!!!! I also had my teeth professionally whitened with the Doc and they look phenomenal !!! Whitest teeth I've had in ages... got lots of compliments already too! ... Now - I told Doc "Lucas" and his wonderful assistant ,"Kelsi" , that "if only you could help me get rid of my wrinkles.... I could look 40 years younger" .... oh well, wishful thinking... Please do check out this wonderful dentist ! Happiness guaranteed!

Super friendly and great staff! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist, especially if you haven’t been for awhile. He never once made me feel bad for not getting routine checks. But I will be from now on! 😁

Today I had the best experience with my 6 year old daughter with Dental Care at Red Rock Canyon. Dr. Castillo and Kelsey, were both so patient and understanding during the whole procedure. They ensured my daughter knew exactly what was happening throughout the whole process, all while making sure she was okay. Their patience and nurturing definitely helped my daughter and I couldn’t be more thankful. Thank you again!

This was my son’s first visit to Dental Care at Red Rock Canyon. Dr. Castillo was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made my son very comfortable during the entire cleaning. The office was very clean and modern. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

Dr. Lucas is a great dentist and it shows through his work. He not only cares about his patients teeth but also how they are doing in general. He is very open and honest. He doesn’t rush through the appointment to get you out. He takes the time to do a full inspection and appointment. If you haven’t checked him out it’s a must!!! The care at Dental Care at Red Rock is very transparent and in depth. I’ve had a few dentists in Colorado Springs, and Dr. Castillo was by far the most thorough and complete. Initially, I went in for a cleaning and ended up re-filling an old cavity that was probably 20+ years old and was initially done by another dentist out of state. The procedure went very well and with no discomfort. Dr. Castillo explained the process and steps along the way! Highly recommend.
