Java Jacks Cafe

I go here for breakfast and lunch all the time. Ginny is my usual server she is great. I love the menu options, on this day I tried an iced Caramel Macchiato which was amazing I also had the Chux Delux it’s a hand breaded chicken sandwich. Everything was as good as it looks.

We ha e been wanting to try Java Jacks for a while now and now O just wish we had sooner. I got the eggs Chesapeake which was outstanding and the coffee flight we had was a fun way to try something different. To make the food even better, our server Chandler was awesome and very friendly. This will definitely not be our last time.

This place is golden. It's so cute and the food is delicious. I have food allergies (dairy/apples) and I only eat fish for meat. There are so many options on the menu that I can eat! The Eggs Chesapeake is a must try! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The Hollandaise sauce is so flavorful. The staff are sweet and attentive. I'll be back many times!

Stopped in just for some coffee to go, friendly staff, great coffee and nice environment. If you are driving through or live here, and havent been in, I recommend stopping in for at least a coffee. I had a caramel macchiato and a latte. Noth were great!

My best friend and I decided to give this place a try, and I'm glad that we did. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant and made us feel welcome. I got the create your own omelette. It comes with these potatoes, not sure what to call them (home fries, hash browns, or fried potatoes) and Jacks, which are similar to beignets. Everything was delicious.

Got coffee to go with my mom and niece and they were so friendly to us; it was our first time. And they even made my niece's drink extra special with sprinkles without even asking. The staff were so sweet, and so were the drinks, and I will definitely be back! (Need to try the food)

Had a terrific Girls Breakfast there. The menu is fun and the cooks are talented. Waitstaff will hang the moon for you if you need it. Skip the jacks (pastries) though. Recipe needs reworking. Would love to go back.

Our first time here. Had the biscuits and gravy. My wife had blueberry French toast! Great selection of coffee beverages. Great service and meals! Definitely will be back.

The food was AMAZING! And the coffee was absolutely delicious! Our server was so hospitable, kind and fast. A sweet young man named Orie (I apologize if I spelled that wrong) he was an absolute doll. God bless you sweet guy and thank you for my lovely note, it will be kept always☺ this will be our number 1 stop the next time we visit Tappahannock!

Affordable, delicious, and quick service to boot. This place is adorable, everyone was friendly, and my entire meal only cost $15 plus tip. Highly recommend this place.

Okay, I love this place. From the second I stepped in and had no idea what I was doing- if we wanted it to go or wanted to sit, the staff were so nice! Seriously all the girls were awesome! The iced latte was so friggin good that I ended up getting two. Food was delish also. Our waitress was super sweet as well. If we are ever in the area again I would definitely come back!

I've driven past this place numerous times. Today, with my fiancee I finally stopped and glad we did! Quick, friendly service with a smile. The food cooked just as we ordered and was delicious! Will definitely be back again!

What a charming restaurant, right in the center of the historical district. We were passing through and stopped for brunch. So glad we did! The food was excellent. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. The home fries were good. Well seasoned and browned just right. The steak was great! The gravy was nice and creamy. Our server was very sweet. We didn't feel rushed at all. She was happy to refill our coffee as we read the local paper. If you have to choose one restaurant in town, pick this one. :)

Stopped here just before closing on a weekend - they didn't rush me and had great service, very friendly! Good treats and coffee

Such a gem of a cafe! Have a delicious coffee on the go or stay for the fresh made fried dough jacks and have a relaxed lunch! My favorite spot in Tappahannock!

Great little roadside cafe right along the highway. We were traveling through the area and stopped here for lunch. They have a good selection of food and serve breakfast all day. I got the crabcake sandwich and was very impressed. The sweet potato fries were also very good. Customer service was outstanding and prices are also very reasonable. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

Stopped here on our way to the Marine Museum for breakfast. Both of our meals were really good. I also got a café au lait to go. It was also really good. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast or lunch.

Coffee shop, great breakfast place, awesome ambiance. Got a cold latte with soy milk, breakfast burrito without animal products and added black beans. Great place for vegetarian and vegan! Impressed, as usual :) and get the jacks (soft fluffy dough) in powdered sugar!

Our first time here but not our last!! Food is great, service was amazing... Such a quaint place
