NN Burger Tappahannock

The atmosphere, service, and most of all, the food was impeccable. There are reviews stating that NN is pricey. But, you must acknowledge the value in what you receive when you go there to eat. They support local musician by providing live music. They greet you with smiles and hand craft your order. I am a lobster roll snob. I could not find a lobster roll close to where I live, and then, a Google search led me to NN Burger, and it surpassed its reputation. I strongly recommend a lunch outing to this place. I forgot to mention, their Black Bean Burger is super delish (trusted foodie source). If you are over 21 years of age, order the Rum Punch.

Third visit here since they opened. Wasn't impressed with the burgers that much but when they advertised the lobster rolls I knew I had to give them a try. The lobster rolls were excellent and were about 20$ . There was lots of lobster claw meat and was delicious

Really great burgers. This was the best food I had in town while I was there a few days. I ordered the classic cheeseburger with bacon, fries with truffle topping and a Maine lobster roll. I was unable to finish it all but I had to try it.

This was our first time here and this place did not disappoint!! The atmosphere was extraordinary... great music, friendly people, very clean. There's an outdoor patio that is 'dog-friendly' with water bowls outside for the dogs and their menu includes a special 'Woof Menu' where you can order treats for your puppers!! They have an automatic hand washing station and free 'photo booth style' photos. The food was top- notch! My son got the Sunrise Brunch Burger, my daughter got the Fried Chicken Sandwich, and I got the Classic Cheeseburger and fries with Molten Cheese. Everything was hot when we got it and perfect. The burgers are the best I've ever had... made from wagyu beef. It's a 3½ hour drive from where we live, but we would most definitely make that drive again just to eat here!

Fabulous food, good vibes, excellent service. Live music, automated handwashing station, photo booth, bathroom plays song "wash your hands". We had the truffle burgers, fantastic. Rob, the owner, is big on attention to detail. A MUST. Drive out of your way to come here!!!

I sure enjoy stopping in at NN Burger in Tappahannock VA. Was making one of my regular trips between my Virginia home, to Maryland and back. Starving! Being diabetic, I was grateful for NN Burger having Black Bean Burger on their menu. Also I don’t eat the buns, so rather than wasting it, I asked for it to be served on lettuce. Never a question! My order (and my wife’s real burger) were perfect and quick! Fun place, friendly, even other customers were smiling and making small talk with us. Just a great place for lunch!

First time here. I travel for work and saw this restaurant that was voted best burger in Va, and decided to try it out. It did not disappoint. I was also told to try their chips because they are known for them, those also were unique and very good. Overall a great cozy atmosphere with patio seating for you to bring pets with you as well if you want. I will be coming back here before I leave Virginia, this place is worth every penny!!

I drove from Richmond to try the food at this restaurant and I absolutely Loved it! The fried chicken sandwich was the Best I have had. Not too much breading and amazing flavor with the bacon and pickles 😋 I will definitely be going back for another!

Such a great place! Loved the atmosphere, live music, and FANTASTIC FOOD! I got the burger with the egg, hash brown, and bacon and the onion rings. . Might be called the Sunrise Burger…soo good!!

I dined at NN Burger in Tappahannock and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the classic cheeseburger with fries, and it was delicious. We traveled to Tappahannock specifically to visit this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the live music couldn’t have been better! Put this place on your list of burger joints to visit, no matter where you live.

The atmosphere, the food quality, the exceptional service, the cleanliness, the live music, the presentation, the overall ambience and culture is phenomenal.

The staff is exceptional in every way. They make you feel so comfortable it’s like you sitting at home on your couch.

The “wash your hands” is so catchy.

Cory and LEX are managers and they are both extraordinary. The tram they have created is pure family. You are truly blessed if you have an opportunity to come into contact with Taylor, Cherry, Jamauri, Khali, Jay, Brooke, Pope, T-Bob, Zaliyah
and Trinity. I hope I mentioned them all because their superiority is undeniably awe inspiring.

NN Burger is a “MUST NOT MISS” place, and I’d go as far to say this place is a bucket list item, because it’s the experience of a lifetime.

Hands down the best burger I’ve had in a very long time! Cooked as requested! Only the greasy, juicy tray paper remained. Amazing!

My husband and I both ordered the cheeseburger and it was very good. Very fresh meat and a really good sauce on it. I would definitely order it again.

I'm 60 years old and this could quite easily be the best burger I've ever eaten! The staff was fantastic. The atmosphere is old school roadhouse and includes a FREE photo booth! Great time. Great food Great staff. And oh yeah, if all that's not enough they have a nice veterans discount too. You owe it to yourself to drop by any time you find yourself in Tappahannock.

I love making trips out here. The food is absolutely amazing. The burgers taste like garlic, and the toasted bun is awesome. The potato chip fries are my favorite thing and someday I will manage to try a shake

I remember passing this restaurant many many years ago. They were known for their smoked burgers. Tonight I got a chance to stop by for a burger with my son.

You know I love curbside service and excellent customer service. Although we were forgotten outside the restaurant I must admit the food was really good!!!

We drove over 60 miles to get there telephoned our order to a very nice lady named Faith. She was very familiar with the menu. Her recommendations were spot on.

Again neat clean well groomed staff with patience and manners. What a winning combination. Sorry the food was too good to take a pick. If you get two patties at Burger King that is the equivalent of one burger at this restaurant. Skip the fries and live dangerously with the twisty chips and cheese!!! Faith swore by them and she was right!!!

I felt like a drive and a lobster roll. Both of those yens were satisfied by a trip to NN Burger. This was my first visit to the Tappahannock location, and the Connecticut lobster roll was just as warm, buttery and delicious as they used to make in Kilmarnock. I especially enjoyed that the live music was less annoying. On the whole, it was a very pleasant visit.

Food was delicious and you could tell they are a favorite place to visit because people came from near and far.

The Prime membership is a must have for locals.

This was our second time visiting NN Burger. Both times, we were passing through Tappahannock on our way elsewhere. The burgers were delicious, and the atmosphere is fun and funky. Be sure to get a side of fresh-cut chips. We seem to have caught auditions for their nightly live music during this visit and very much enjoyed the young lady's performance. Unfortunately nobody announced her name.
