Very relaxing. Ate dinner overlooking the water. Staff was great as well as the food

I stopped by on my way to Thanksgiving dinner, so I didn't stay for the buffet. But it smelled amazing. Just had a couple beers and some conversation with Mike the barkeep and a couple of local people. Very friendly

Great views of the local beach and the lake. The food is delicious and cheap as well. Service is pretty good but a little slow (at least the lady that we had) but she did a great job overall. Sit outside and you'll love it. They do have a bar and lots of TVs inside (nothing like that outside). Definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

The menu has been changed and is so much better, the views are endless.

New management and this time they CARE. Fresh paint and new carpet coming soon. Newly designed menu with awesome specials. New menu for comedy nights to make the service so much faster.
I would definitely recommend this place.
They now have local artist hanging their work for sale.

We took a mini 3 day vacation from the craziness of Loudoun County to our favorite spot, Colonial Beach. We spent two fun days with Elizabeth (our bartender). Her personality and exceptions service made us keep coming back each day. We.loved betting on the horses (both live and through Racetrax) playing keno, enjoying beverages and eating our favorite -- CRAB STUFFED MUSHROOMS!. Elizabeth is Amazing and made our trip that much better!

Great atmosphere great experience my wife and I had our anniversary dinner here and the new management took care of us like we were royalty a king and queen.
Food was TOP NOTCH we love seafood and this took the cake amazing service amazing food amazing atmosphere. Everyone was so nice and polite. Food came put hot and fresh and in a pretty quick manner .. also about every 5 mins or so we were checked on by the staff to make sure we didn't need anything else just an amazing time we had this is a place we will definitely come back to and I highly recommend this place for food or even go hang out at the bar or if you have a event. The management that has taken over has revamped the place with color, class and a really enjoyable style thats nice and fun and the food is litterly 5 stars!!!

Best crab cake sandwich I've had in some time.

We came here because 35years ago we our spent honeymoon In colonial Beach..Todays the food was great and they even went out there way to make our meal even more special

Very long wait for the meals due to employee shortage but the view of the water, seagulls screeching, lunch the perfect breeze 👌 made it a great experience

Saturday we went for the first time. Sat on the balcony. We had nachos (huge and delicious), and fried chicken sandwich with fries.so delicious. As with many businesses they were short staffed and signs let you know before ordering. Nikki was our server and she was awesome! Super friendly and attentive. So, we will be regulars here from now on. Outdoor seating is beautiful.

The Sunday breakfast buffet is great. The best in town. The sweet tea was on point this morning also. I'd just recommend adding grits and flip up lids. Great service!

This was an awesome dinner my family and I enjoyed. The food was prepared delicious and the quantity was more than we could eat. They warn you about the long waiting time that is posted everywhere because of lazy people that don't want to work. The waiting time was not bad and we'll worth it. Thank you Riverboat and your staff!!!

Came yo this restaurant our first night in CB! Waited a couple of minutes to be seated but the service was very quick afterwards. We decided to enjoy our meal from the patio and view the water.

All of the food was great! I tried almost everyone's dish in my party. Some of the menu items don't have prices and I assume it is because they fluctuate during peak/off peak seasons. I would love to come back for the fish fry Friday if they are still having it!

The servers were quick and nice. The lady didn't write any of our orders down but got everything correct.

I recommend this place to everyone visiting Colonial Beach. Due to covid service may be slower but it is worth it!

Great food and good times on the beach.

The décor and ambiance is everything you would expect from a small town river boat restaurant. That is not to discredit or talk down on the establishment. The services were 5 star the bartender was very attentive but not over attentive. The muscles were exquisite and possibly the most delicious we had ever experienced. The flounder was fresh and cooked to perfection. And the drinks were extremely reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this establishment if you are and the Colonial Beach area in Virginia right off the Potomac river

Weather was a bit off, but sitting on the deck for lunch was great. Loved our waitress. Perfect southern accent and very enthusiastic. Poor form on our part, can't remember her name. Kristen, maybe? Anyway she was great and we enjoyed ourselves
