Texas Steak & Ale House

After living in Texas, we always get a kick out of visiting Texas steakhouses to see the hype. This one was actually decent, in comparison. The food was nicely prepared, the steak came out as requested, the appetizers were great, overall a good experience. They were out of quite a bit, like rolls and desserts, and childrens crayons, but didn't seem to affect the meal much at all, and we were told their truck would be in today, so we may try again! Would recommend, probably on the weekend.

We are new to the area and decided to try the place for the 1st time. We wanted something good to celebrate our anniversary during the lunch hour. We did carry out, which I was a little skeptical about, especially with steak. But the food was delicious. The New York strip and ribeye had lots of flavor and even after a 20min ride home were still cooked to perfection! We will definitely will be trying this place again. Hopefully inside next time for the full experience.

Honey butter rolls were fresh and very yummy! Steak was cooked nicely too. Having staffing shortage, but wait was only about 15 mins to be seated and food came fairly quickly. Waiter very nice!

Visited for the first time last Sunday and we were extremely satisfied with the level of service Peanut provided. He was very attentive and polite and gave great recommendations. I would definitely eat there again and hope he will be our server. Plus, I left my leftovers and he brought them outside to me!! Server extraordinaire!

Had a super long wait to begin with, but the food more then made up for it. The steak was super tender and had a nice char on it. The salads were huge and fresh and the jalapeno ranch was perfect with the cheese fries. So after we finally got a server I can say that it was a great experiance.

My friends and family came to dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday. We were sat with an amazing server named peanut. They made sure to keep drinks filled, made sure the food was good and fixed what wasn’t. He made the best Green Hawaiian drink ever too! I hope every time I come to eat dinner than I get the privilege to have them as my server. THANK YOU FOR A MEMORABLE NIGHT PEANUT!

They have stepped things up a notch since they relocated. The atmosphere is comfortable while still looking great with that Texas feel. They just opened yesterday so there was a bit of a wait but the place was busy and the food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. If they keep this up it will be one of the best restaurants in town .

Citrus sauce on the Matt Dillon steak is the best. Large portions. Good service.

When I tell you we had an amazing experience!! Peanut did amazing! They kept the drinks going, made sure everything was wonderful!!! If I can come back every time and have them as my server, I would eat here everyday!! ❤❤

Our waitress was Billie and she was amazing, dare I say Perfect Service.

All three of us had ribeye of different sizes and all three were cooked dare I say Perfectly

The side salads, steamed broccoli and all the sides were great.

Read the reviews here carefully and you will realize the truth is, this is the Danville areas best steak house and a great value too.

My food was cold and I waited for a very longtime but on the bright side, our server Peanut was a pro, he was very friendly, attentive, and on top of things. He was an excellent multitasking employee. I would definitely go back if he was our server.

Very friendly hostess and waitresses. Tables socially distanced and they were constantly cleaning. 2 of the waitresses stayed after their shift just to make sure the restaurant was ready for the evening. The drink I had was very gd, an alchohol beverage. The food was great. I would definitely recommend and surely will be going back soon

The staff were polite and quick to serve us anything we needed. Amazing people. The dishes are clean. The atmosphere is comfortable. The food here is well prepared. The salads, ribs, steaks, and burgers are delicious. Wonderful place to dine in.

Peanut was absolutely the most amazing server that I have ever had anywhere ever. Everything was delicious and his service was fun and attentive. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with this server.

The food was good but the service was even better. The young lady was very friendly and accommodating. The staff seemed to be making an effort to keep patrons as far apart as possible for as long as possible.

I took my sister out for her birthday tonight and we got sat with Peanut as our server. They did an amazing job and I hope we were able to brighten their night. They definitely made tonight special for us. Thanks peanut!

Pretty good food and service. My wife had the sirloin tips with the mushroom sauce and ate every bite. I had the sirloin which was good as well. Considering today's restaurant environment its nice to have this as a local option.

Not sure where my rave review went, but we are thrilled! I am a ribeye girl, but had to get a sirloin, you know, less fat, high cholesterol, yada yada......but it was the absolute BEST SIRLOIN I HAVE EVER EATEN!!! The sweet potato fries were OMG good!!! The salad! The waitress! The hosts! The cooks! Oh yes! This is our new fave in Danville! And the price is great too!!!

Food was great. Waitress was great. The kitchen was backed up. Took an hour to get our food. But manager gave us a discount. Would definitely go again

The food was so delicious. My bf and I was very impressed, we both loved the waitress. She was so polite, we will definitely be coming back.
