Holiday Inn Ft. Lauderdale-Airport

Our stay here was great! We had a small problem, the room key wouldn't work. The manager quickly looked after us and gave us another room. Once in the new room we discovered we left some stuff in our previous room. The manager once again helped us out and personally got access and made it right for us. Thank you so much! You went beyond for us and it was appreciated!

Derek (manager) and Marshall went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms were very clean and the rest of the staff extremely helpful and friendly! Would like to add that Sabrina (bartender) was amazing! With only one waitress serving tables, Sabrina was on her toes and very attentive! Will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This place is so charming! They were very busy and short staffed, but they were so extremely accommodating it than made up for it! We were happy to find that we could begin enjoying the amenities immediately, and didn't have to wait until check in. We got there around 10am after a cruise, and they held our luggage while we swam in their beautifully decorated oasis of a pool area. Unfortunately the pool bar was not open, and their restaurants weren't open on that Sunday either - but this was no problem for us. There's an exceptional coffee place right in front of the hotel and a McDonald's across the street, which was perfect for our overnight stay waiting for our flight. The area does have tons of interesting dining though if you'd be staying longer. The pool is warm and clean, and there are tons of wild iguanas all over the palm trees, adding to the enjoyable ambiance.
The rooms were VERY spacious and comfortable. The showers were HUGE. The whole place may be slightly dated - but I would always prefer luxurious comfort and friendly service at a very reasonable price, regardless if the decor is on trend.
They also have an airport shuttle that is ON TIME and FREE! 😁
I will definitely be staying here again whenever we cruise.

I got sent here when Delta delayed my flight overnight and gave people hotel vouchers. I was feeling frustrated about my flight being delayed, but Torri at the front desk went above and beyond in dealing with me and a plane-ful of other frustrated passengers. She managed the unexpected check-ins efficiently, all while answering phone calls from additional passengers trying to find the airport shuttle. She even remained patient and helpful with the more trivial issues like meal vouchers and wifi access. I have rarely seen a hotel staff member so patient and competent, and she really turned a frustrating evening around for me.

The hotel itself is a lot nicer than I expected given that Delta sent us here last minute. The pool area is pretty, and there's a nice back patio where you can eat at the hotel restaurant. The rooms seem clean and comfortable. I don't think there's much close to the location, but for an airport hotel it seems totally adequate.

Stayed here the night before our condo was ready. Pool area is fabulous and hotel was clean and upkept. Only down side I had is price of the resteraunt for just being a hotel near the airport, but I guess they get the cruise goers and that drives it up.

Derek made our stay absolutely incredible. We had just gotten off our flight and could not find a hotel to stay at. We called and he accommodated us with no hesitation. And when we had a problem he fixed it right away! 10/10 would stay again just because of him!

Everything about our stay was amazing!! From the front desk, the price to stay, the heated pool and hot tub, the room!! Comfortable beds and pillows, everything you need in the room. It was amazing!! I wish we were able to stay longer!! Torri (I believe was her name, hopefully spelled correctly) was absolutely very professional and personable, she was great!

Great stay! Peter in the restaurants is the best server we have properly ever had. He was on top of everything and so friendly. Hudson, the front office manager is also fantastic and so friendly. I would give them both a 10 out of 5 if I could . Well done guys!!!

Great location for the airport and cruise port. The bar had reasonably priced drinks and food. We chose to include breakfast option when we booked the room and there were several choices. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Great location, the pool area was very classy and had a waterfall. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food at the bar was great. Highly recommend!

The first room we had the bed was heaven on earth. Now whe we feturned from our cruze room 318 I felt the springs in my back and my wife's feet soxs durty from the carpet walking from the chair to the door and back.

Such a beautiful hotel! The pool area was really nice as well and it's right near the airport. Had a really amazing stay here.

It was a very great experience for me and my family!! We hosted my Dad's celebration of life Party in their banquet room. The sales manager Ross went over and beyond to make sure that we had a great time!! They even gave us discounts on the rooms for the people that came from out of town. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is interested in staying in South Florida. Very clean and professional services. They truly offer a very nice experience for anyone who is looking to get away? Or to host a large group? It was amazing!!

Perfect location! Close to many restaurants, stores, you name it! Has a pool for the kids and a hot tub for the adults!

I chose this hotel because it is close to where I had business at, but the best part was the excellent friendly service. The gentleman working the front desk when I arrived, Khalil, was friendly, efficient and professional. This is exactly the person one wants dealing with guests and representing the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. The bed and especially the pillows...perfect. Thanks again to Khalil for making sure that my stay was comfortable!

Spent one night with kids after the flight was cancelled. Arrived late and hungry - the staff has kept the kitchen open especially for passengers from the cancelled flight - thank you!
