Sandollar Restaurant

this place now calls itself the BRGR restaurant as it has renewed itself after recovery from the hurricane Ian as part of the Sanibel Island Resort. They place is beautiful and a new favorite of mine. Had a Black and Bleu burger (relates to the name of the restaurant) with cole slaw and it was excellent! Very high quality, done just right, tasted wonderful and included bacon in the burger. Tried fries from one of our party and they were exceptional, great taste and crunch. Our server was friendly and took great care of our party. we parked our bikes at the rack behind the restaurant in the area where the parking lot leads back to palms and passes their pool (with bar) toward the path to the beach where they have lounge chairs that they furnish to guests on the beach that has recently had its sand replenished by the island. A great visit, we'll be back.

Beautiful newly refurbished restaurant, staff was very nice. Food was delicious. We had a grilled chicken salad. Looking forward to coming back many more times. !

We just had breakfast, my son, husband, and I and we had a delightful experience. Fresh fruits, delicious pancakes for adults and children. Scrambled eggs and toasts were delicious as well. Very friendly hostess and servers. Very attentive. The manager Jeanine was very friendly and kind. Clean and well maintained place.

Stayed here the last week of September. It was quiet which I love. The food was very good. Breakfast was my favorite though every plate all week was great. The server was also a delite.

My wife washed the perfectly cooked scallops down with a glass of wine. I paired the scrumptious grouper sandwich with a well prepared margarita.

Very nice, fancy restaurant. A little out of my price budget so I'm glad I didn't have to pay 😂. Mostly burger and fish/seafood options. So for someone who's very picky when it comes to meats and then allergic to seafood, my only option was a salad. But it was still a good salad. Alcoholic drink options as well. The Sanibel was very sweet.

I came here while on vacation with 5 others (2 were kids, which yes.. they do have a nice kids menu) and we absolutely loved this place. The staff were very sweet and accommodating, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was very.... Italian 👌 (for lack of better words lol). I loved everything about this place, EXCEPT for the amount of people that were there! I'm not saying it was packed, I'm saying that there needed to be more for such a great Italian restaurant! This is a pretty new place, it's a little tucked away, and it wasn't even on Google Maps yet... so I had to fix that because this restaurant deserves to be known.

Come here, drink wine, eat meatballs (which are the bomb), and enjoy. ❤

We had an excellent breakfast here AND a delightful dinner as well. It is SO convenient for guests. Very pleasant atmosphere and wonderful servers.

From start to finish , super service. Food quality was also on point. It Is refreshing to see a restaurant get it right when so many others get it wrong good luck fantastic experience highly recommend. Ask for Judeen she is amazing

Really good food. Sushi is fantastic! The big winner here is the service. Ray and his team are so friendly and accommodating. Absolutely loved sitting and talking with everyone.

We found this restaurant to be a little gem. The menu is limited but the dishes are superbly prepared. The service is excellent and attentive. All in all, we highly recommend this eatery.

This restaurant is attached to the hotel, the waitstaff was excellent and the food was out of this world. Cappuccino to espresso to regular coffee. Excellent menu and very clean

Romantic get away for the perfect date night. My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner and the best dessert I have had in awhile. Will return often!

We ate here everyday we stayed at Sanibel Beach resort. Go see Clive he is the best !! Clive took such good care of us and everyone else as far as we could see.

Our waiter was friendly, prompt and professional. We enjoyed the Crabs Benedict and a latte. Mmm

We had the best breakfast of the whole vacation at the Sandollar. It was right under our noses the whole time and we will eat there more often next time we are staying at SIBR.

Delicious seafood food, great atmosphere, nice bar area just to hangout for a beer or 2, definitely going back.

Good food and friendly staff. A little pricey but overall was a good experience.
