L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center

Beautiful facility. We did Swim for Jenny week and we had a great experience. My daughter is autistic, and they were very accommodating and sweet with her. I also have a four-year-old and Marcos was the best swim instructor. My little one keeps asking to go to swim class! Definitely thinking about getting a membership

Truly this facility is the best of the best I've seen of All YMCAs! The staff us mostly helpful. Even the maintenance folks are helpful. The facility is very beautiful no doubt to were it even looks like a modern museum. Basketball courts are very upscale and always clean!!
Also there are cheerleaders, swimming and basketball leagues. Get Down to this why and go do a yoga class or hit the weights as well.

The people are the finest in Broward County! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the programs the YMCA offers. The staff is amazingly friendly. Keep up the extraordinary work you do for Broward County.

One of the best Y’s I’ve visited. Spotless, brand new equipment, friendly staff. Secure free parking too. The gym isn’t that large, but if you go during the slow time, you’ll have no problem getting your equipment.

Came here for the first time, and I could kick myself for not coming here sooner! This place is magical. The art is eye-opening, and 6 I spoke with Mrs. Sharon and she is the absolute most pleasurable human to speak to. Her passion for the children that go through the Y is palpable. I can't wait to do some projects with them. If you have not been to this YMCA, I highly recommend going as soon as possible!

My wife and I were on vacation from Pennsylvania and found this YMCA to lap swim in. we have a memebership to our local YMCA back home. We went 6 out of our 8 days to swim. Latisha and Shana were awesome. Pleasant and very welcoming everyday at the pool The outdoor pool is amazing and well maintained. TEMP WAS PERFECT. The front desk staff was also outstanding. Extremely helpful and everyone we encountered gave us the same wonderful treatment. We will be back next year!!!

The staff here is amazing and friendly, and the amenities in the building are plentiful from a gym, a basketball court, a pool, a functional daycare, and a Broward College outlet with rentable office. Space perfect building for the community.

New state-of-the-art facility. Great health & wellness programs. My favorite is yoga. Children friendly YMCA. The building offers a full basket ball court, a workout gym full of equipment, locker room w/ shower for changing, Sitting loung for those who need to work or school, and a pool. The staff here are friendly and helpful.

This YMCA off Sistrunk is the best thing that has happened to sistrunk in a long time. It has a pool, a meeting roof top area, a gym and plenty of activities going on in the theater area also. While it’s summer and lots of kids are around there is still plenty to do to stay focus on your healthy lifestyle.

It provides fitness facilities, educational programs, and community engagement initiatives.

In my experience this is the nicest Y in SE FL. Not as many different machines and free weight stations as some other locations, but they got all the bases covered and all the equipment is brand new. Even still has that new gym smell.

I have only been to a couple of YMCAs, but these people are the friendliest and nicest group! The facility is clean and well maintained, great exercise equipment and instructors. Very enjoyable.

I recently visited this ymca, and it's a gorgeous multi-level facility. The staff is very friendly and well kept up.

Best gym I've found in Fort Lauderdale by a long shot - immaculately clean, new equipment, staff is very helpful and friendly, membership works across the nation, prices are the cheapest in town (except for like planet fitness), and they have great cultural activities all the time.

I started going to this YMCA from the very beginning and everyone here has been nothing but amazing . Lains the wellness person there is knowledgeable and always teach me a new technique everytime I come in . Be sure to book your assessment.
