Burlington Self Storage - Fort Lauderdale

Wow! Rarely am I so impressed with a business that I am compelled to write a review, but both happened in this case. I moved my storage unit from a very well known storage place that was run down, facility was filthy, door nobs falling off etc. They had the nerve to raise my rent by $40.00 a month. then when I told them i was leaving they offered me a one month coupon. Enter Burlington.....not only was the rent one third the cost of my previous filthy place, but the manager couldn't have been more courteous and helpful. The facility is brand new, spotless, and they offered me the use of their van to move my stuff free of charge. They offered free coffee, water and snacks as well as a gift bag for being a new customer. WIN, WIN, WIN! Cheaper, cleaner, courteous staff and free coffee and water. Thank you Burlington for showing me that its possible that a company not only wants my business, but is will and able to show you it wants your business and take pride in the way they do business.

Easiest storage facility to work with in all of Ft. Lauderdale! The staff is great. Cara is amazing and always available to help. They made my move in and move out so easy. This is the place if you need a storage facility.

My experience was amazing. Cara went above and beyond to get me transferred to another unit because my unit was too small. Let me tell you something. I cannot say enough good things about Burlington Self Storage! The facility is very clean and secure. Cara is always super friendly and helpful in the office - even offering to entertain my kids with pictures of her adorable puppies while I'm loading/unloading so I can finish what I need to do faster!

I rented my first unit here last year and I had such a great experience. I knew when I needed another unit this year that I wouldn't go anywhere else! I made a quick call to Cara and she got me the unit I needed right away.

Beautiful and clean facilities. Easy access. Cara in the front office was amazing and so helpful.

Cara is a real professional and always takes care of business. If I could only deal with people like Cara, my life would run smoother. She is a tremendous asset to Burlington.

I needed a place to store my excess belongings when I needed to stage my condo to sell it. Burlington was close by and offered a good rate. I had dealt with other storage facilities in the past and was not expecting such a spotlessly clean and professional experience. Scott and Cara in the office made it such an easy transaction; both were friendly and got me in and out of there. I even got a welcome goody bag.
Later, when I lost the key to my unit in the chaos of my move to my new place, Scott came to the rescue and fixed it for me. 5 stars!

I had a positive experience being a BSS tenant. Everything was always clean and brightly lit, with good AC and music playing. Staff was friendly. I hope to be a customer of BSS again in the future.

Very positive first impression of the facility and its operation as provided by Scott. I only needed a space to park my car, but Scott spent a lot of time explaining the operation of the facility, including how to access the building, billing and other information important to a first-time customer. The rates seemed competitive, and I felt comfortable leaving my vehicle there.

This really is one of the best storage unit facilities that I've had occasion to use. I particularly like the covered parking with easy access to the elevators and I appreciate the cleanliness and and functionality of the place which is new and was purpose built by people who know what makes a good storage locker. You also can get one month free if you pay 6 months in advance which I like. By the way if you open the storage locker there based on this review please tell them my name I will get a small discount on my next month's rent.

Clean, very secure, bright and a friendly staff, so I strongly recommend them. Their on line application is not very clear when it comes to billing but the staff helped to clrarify. Phone app makes it easy to access property too.

Never have I seen a storage facility better ran and literally everything thought of. Family ran business. Two people at the front desk Scott and Cara. They give amazing courteous service (not the typical I’m bothered that you want me to assist with anything). They helped me upgrade in the middle of my move and made it as stressless on their end as possible. Their facility is air conditioned, clean, doesn’t smell like rat poison and chemicals, has an extensive overhang for loading and unloading area (many places here miss this one and with Florida’s rainy season, this is a huge plus). They have carts on EVERY FLOOR. An elevator that has a delay option for loading (and doesn’t require a stupid pin to be entered to get to your floor), Several bathrooms, there is music playing on site which helps pass the time when loading/unloading and going through stuff to organize. They give a gift bag with goodies (snacks, treats, water, paper/pen, and even a towel) upon move in. They even have a company van for move in. Did I mention how great the front desk team are? Great rates… they are clearly looking for long term tenants and I have never been treated so well. Coming from Public Storage in an upscale neighborhood of 8 years who gave the WROST service, hiked up rates consistently, and everything we put in the unit reeked of poison. You could barely get the smell out. A/c that was barely on and Doors that wouldn’t stay open, and just an overly frustrating experience. Glad I happened to come across Burlington Self Storage. May they always stay this pleasantly ran and my storage facility for years to come.

Long story short, the place is awesome. Brand new installations, very clean, large elevators and one with extend ceiling roof, plenty of hand trucks available, covered parking for any weather, reasonable prices and the staff is very courteous and professional. Cara was very nice and she make sure to explain to me how everything works.

My initial call to Burlington was answered by Cara. She was polite, cordial, and professional. I followed up with a visit to Burlington a few days later and Cara took care of me. Again, she is the consummate professional. During these times when we all experience terrible customer service wherever we go, Cara was a breath of fresh air. In fact, she was so good that I didn't bother to check any other storage facilities. Since then she has given me outstanding customer every step of the way.

Walking into this building you wouldn't think that you were going there to rent a storage Unit. The professionalism from the staff deserves the 5 star rating it has. They are knowledgeable about the building and its units and were able to accommodate myself and my employers needs and continue to do so. The building is immaculately clean inside and out, smells fresh, is accurately temperature controlled, and every door is locked and secure with your own special code that can be accessed with your phone through an application. They provide Stainless steel carts which are all nicely maintained, not wobbly or broken. The best part in my opinion is the Van. They provide a Sprinter Van for customers to use on their move in/out day free of charge and that is unheard of. In this post covid world we live in. It seems as if the standard for customer service has significantly dropped. Burlington Self Storage has not done so it has maintained that standard and exceeded it in my opinion.

I like having the convenience of an app based keyless entry. Sheltered parking is amazing when loading and unloading. Kara has been very helpful, and she is always available to answer any questions.

I rented the unit last week and it’s an amazing facility. It’s brand new and very clean but what is so distinguishable about it is the staff.

You get a feeling that you are going into a five-star resort type of service and not a storage unit. They are absolutely wonderful.
