Magnolia's Oyster Bar

So I’m from out of town and I found this place and of course I love oysters. So I decided to stop in and check it out. I was not disappointed.
I sat at the bar had one beer and I got the fried oyster platter and then I finished off with six oysters raw. I can say if I lived here in town, this would be my local hangout because it was really a nice atmosphere very family friendly fun.
They have outdoor seating, indoor dining and bar seating.
So they open a 50 pound sack of oysters, pour them into the ice and then shuck them in and open them right in front of you.
Stop by and check them out. They’re pretty cool.

Great little mom and pops hole in the wall! Friendly staff and a relaxed local atmosphere! Was in town and wanted oysters for dinner, found this quaint little restaurant/bar and am very glad I did! Going to be my go to anytime I am in Leesburg! I come from the Atlantic Coast in a seaside city and know oysters! These are top notch! Eat at Magnolia Oyster Bar, you won’t be disappointed!! Not bad price’s either, $40 for a Coors and two dozen oysters.

Amazing oysters. I could have stayed here all day. The jalapeño Cajun crab bites & hush puppies were phenomenal too. Really fresh seafood and they weren’t shy about asking us if we were enjoying! Stellar service & Great food. We will be back!

Decided to try Oyster bar near my city. The food and service was superb. The oysters were nice size and delicious. If you are in the area stop on by parking in on the street and spots are limited. Busy spot.. I will definitely visit more often

We stopped in last evening with friends and had a fantastic experience! Rita, our server, was delightful in her comical, dry humor sort of way. She also gave top-notch service. The appetizers and food was great. We ordered several selections, and each was good. We will definite return. (I don't even like seafood and they had plenty choices for me!) Thanks, Rita!

My uncle and I went to this hole-in-the-wall seafood joint after some local recommendations; We were not disappointed. We enjoyed 12 raw oysters and a couple of beers for appetizers and my were they delicious, and very fresh.

For our entree, we had fried grouper sandwiches with fries. We were a little disappointed they didn't have a grilled or blackened option but hey, what can ya do? The sandwich was big and flavorful, the Tartar sauce was delicious and the fries were crispy.

The owner came out to bring our food and checked on us frequently. We had a nice conversation she was very sweet. I look forward to visiting her and this gem of a locally-owned restaurant again soon.

Was looking for some good seafood with a dive bar feel. This place didn’t disappoint. Wow, excellent oysters and the fish platters were unbelievable. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

What a great little place. The food was excellent and their specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays are unbeatable. Very friendly staff, definitely will be returning on a weekly basis.

Had crab legs, sides and Modelo. The crab legs were big, cooked perfectly and just salty enough. Sides were yummy I loved the atmosphere. Service was excellent.

This is a layed back spot, good atmosphere, great cheerfully staff, who doesn't like good seafood and some cold suds!? The shrimp and oysters ect are huge and cooked to perfection and you can tell everything is fresh!!

Very clean, very friendly place. We ordered Togo. The catfish platter and the snow crab platter were amazing. The cooking oil tastes clean, and the catfish was made perfectly. Definitely be back soon. There menu prices have changed this is there updated menu

Tuesday night Shrimp special is amazing. BOGO half lb of huge shrimp seasoned in Old Bay and simply delicious.

What a great find this was for us. The food was great and it was a good time. Some reviewers have called it a “dive” environment - it’s not - it’s local, it’s unique, it’s fun and it’s reasonable. We went on a Thursday and got the specials shown in the photo. A pound of peel and eat shrimp and a bucket of steamed garlic butter clams. Came in just under $20 and danged delicious! (Almost gone by the time I got my camera out.)

Returned to this place after several months and it’s still 5 stars! 1 lb shrimp and a bucket of clams for $18.99! They have this little “make it a dinner” thing and you get french fries, hush puppies, garlic toast and veggies.

This place is one of the best dive oyster bars I've ever visited. The service was top notch. The food was incredible. Their clam chowder was the absolute best I've ever had! A little pricey but well worth it! A good size bowl! My husband had the lightly steamed oysters and I had the roasted oysters with cheese, bacon and jalapeños well done and well done again! I don't so jiggly oysters! They were excellent! A wonderful small out of the way joint that I highly recommend! We also had some beers! 👏👏👏

Had the pound of Crab legs and they were awesome with just the right amount of seasoning A+ service and staff. My favorite go to place when I'm in Florida.

This is one of those little out-of-the-way special places. Come when it's not busy and sit at the bar. The bartender and the locals are exceptionally friendly. The service and the food are fantastic. This is a must come place while in the area. It was recommended to me by two other businesses in the area and they were right. Enjoy

Great old school bar with fresh oysters and cold beer. Good prices, too.

Great cat fish. Split the dinner. Enough food for the 2 of us.

Staff is great and helped entertain our 18 month old. Food is fantastic!!
