Element Fort Lauderdale Downtown

On my recent visit at the element, I encountered two very nice people at the front desk (Rachel and Allen). Both employees were very friendly, and professional. I was very stressed from a long day of traveling, and They made sure to provide me with a room that was ready. They were just so amazing and really showcased the best experience possible! They were also very helpful as they explained where everything would be located and how to use all of the amenities at the hotel.

I feel these two individuals are a huge asset to your team and deserved a huge shoutout! I will definitely be coming back soon just based off of the service I received on this visit alone!

We spent a night at the end of February at Element Fort Lauderdale Downtown before embarking on a Disney cruise to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday. Prior to our arrival, I had a few requests, and I must commend Doris Cespedes for her promptness and accommodation—truly top-notch service!

Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a delightful birthday surprise set up just for our daughter. The thoughtfulness of the staff made her day extra special. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the ambiance is simply beautiful. It was unfortunate that our stay was brief, as we only had a quick overnight before our cruise. However, we are already planning our return visit to fully enjoy the modern and clean facilities of this wonderful hotel.

This hotel is colocated with another resort just north of downtown Ft Lauderdale. The room was spacious, well appointed, and very comfortable. We had the Flagler Suite and it was massive with a separate living room and bedroom. The bed was large and very comfortable. Parking is valet only so be ready for that but the service is quick. Loved this hotel.

We had a great stay at the element. The room was large and having a kitchenette was very nice. The check in and check out process was easy, the amenities were great, and it was nice that breakfast is included with the stay. The location is good for being in Las Olas. It’s very convenient to restaurants and getting around town.

We spent three nights here mid Nov 2023. Great loacation close to Airport. We had exceptional service from Austin, from getting us into our room, answering our many questions and tips on the beach area. He went above and beyond. Another gentlman picked us at the beach, also very knowable and friendly. All other staff were very friendly, although I did not get their names.. I can't wait to book our next trip to this hotel.. highly recommend

Staying right now and front desk was friendly and super friendly and informative. Staying at the element which is in the dalmar, hotel is super pretty, grill restaurant on main floor is fantastic. Great location ! Close to los olas.

Once again Selisa and Andy treated us amazing. 3rd time in this hotel and this time for birthday celebration and we had a blast. At Sparrow rooftop had another great experience- thanks to our server. She made sure our birthday dinner was on point and recommended best options. Forgot her name all I know she is Dominican. Lol thank you again.

I love, love this place! My go to hotel for work. Sometimes I stay at the Dalmar (Same building and rooms are little higher end). But both hotels share same amenities and restaurants. Staff is amazing all around.

I was unable to get to my booked hotel due to heavy rain and flooding. I stopped at Element but wasn't sure if I would be able to get a room. Austin and Sia (apologies if I misspelled) went above and beyond to assist. I was able to get a room and an upgrade. The room is beautiful, clean, comfortable and has a full kitchen which I really needed. Not sure what I could have done without their help, given we are under a flash flood warning and I'm with my dog. I've always preferred staying at Marriott, but this experience has solidified my appreciation for the brand. I hope to be back at this hotel in the future. Thank you!!!

Short Answer: My girlfriend and I really loved our 7 night stay at the Element Fort Lauderdale and highly recommended staying there!

Pro's:
- First off, Pravin from the front desk on the 3rd floor lobby was really incredible. He really made us feel at home!
- We stayed in the suite which has a balcony and looks out towards the ocean so you can see the sunrise each morning.
- There's a really cool coffee shop inside of the hotel
- There's a really nice rooftop bar inside the hotel
- The lounge on the 6th floor is amazing. It has a large bar & huge area to eat/relax.
- The gym is perfect and has great natural light
- The pool is really relaxing and has a great view
- All of the workers are SOO nice there.
- The hotel is all in the same building as The Dalmar Hotel so you basically get all the amenities as The Dalmar Hotel if you are staying at the Element Fort Lauderdale.

Con's:
- Not a big con, but Element should do a better job advertising the rooms inside the Marriott Bonvoy. Basically I called because I was unsure if any of their rooms had balconies. The call went to a general call center and the person clearly didn't work at the Element Fort Lauderdale. She ended up telling me "No, this hotel does not have a balcony" However, it turns out the hotel indeed DOES have a balcony. I almost didn't book at the element because I didn't think it had a balcony.
- The hotel should do a better job showing more photos of the rooms. They're really missing out on this because the rooms are perfect (at least the one I stayed in). It was much nicer than I was anticipating.
- Not a huge con for me because I don't mind a little walk, but it's not right on Las Olas Boulevard. You do have to cross a few busy streets to get to Las Olas. I honestly didn't mind because it was nice going back to the hotel and not hearing a ton of noise (which you would hear if you were on Las Olas Boulevard).

Consensus:

I will be back! I really loved staying at the Element and will definitely stay there anytime I'm in fort Lauderdale. Huge shout out to Pravin! Thanks for making our trip a great one!

A beautiful hotel, decked out in marble and blues located in one half of The Delmar. Being a Marriott branded hotel, it comes equipped with the usual closets and full bath, the beds are VERY comfortable, and the kitchenette made Valentine's day a breeze. The best part was the full, floor to ceiling window on one side overlooking the pool and beyond. Room service and concierge were remarkably nice, and my baby and I have never been happier! Honestly I've never stayed at a better hotel, I loved it!

Stayed for one night this past Saturday celebrating our anniversary. Very chic and beautiful. So cool that you can use all the Dalmar amenities. We enjoyed appetizers and cocktails at Sparrow on the rooftop. Nice guy named Malcolm, one of the managers at the pool picked up our drink tab. We will be back. 10/10 highly recommend.

Stayed 2 nights for a business trip. Doris was exceptionally accommodating and understanding. All staff that I encountered were professional and courteous from valet, the breakfast, and, security, to check in /check out. Amenities were wonderful.

I find the elevator system smart, even though it can be confusing at first. The roof pool is amazing, breakfast is decent, rooms are comfortable. The employees are really respectful. Valet Parkers are responsible with your cars, and the interior and decoration is amazing.

I'm Definitely Planning on Coming Back! I love my hotel room with Balcony! The bed is comfortable the bathroom is HUGE with a kitchen, desk and everything!

This hotel was really a nice hotel. I enjoyed my he pool. Get poolside service as well. Food is affordable not too bad in price range. I had nachos and salsa and champagne. I really enjoyed rooftop pool. They had a bar on top of building but did not make it there. Love the rooms, like a mini studio apartment. They had bikes as well but did not have a enough time for bike riding. Nice atmosphere overall. They have a shuttle service that drives guest to local beach. All of it worth he money. Definitely will stay there again!

This is our second time staying here. The hotel is basically brand new. We are BonVoy members and we were upgraded to a suite. The room was clean, spacious, however it could use a table. The hotel offers daily breakfast with options such as eggs, pancakes, and French toast made fresh, with a selection of cereals and pastries along with coffee and juice. From 5-7 Monday - Thursday there is happy hour in the lobby with two beers, white and red wine, and cheese and olives.
They have a great pool area on the sixth floor. Robert, and his staff, who was working every day for our 5 day stay, was friendly, making it a point to say hello to us everyday. There is free water and fruit at the pool. The drink and food prices are as expensive as you would think for a hotel pool area. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are clean, and the hotel is modern. I will stay again.

2 hotels in one. Have stayed at the element. Great room with little kitchenette. Nice lobby area and a really good simple breakfast. Short walk to restaurants and grocery in any direction.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of downtown. Love the pool and the layout of the hotel. $32 parking, valet only option. Great restaurants and rooftop bar. Walking distance to many attractions.

Rooms are clean and comfortable with full kitchen and updated modern decor. Staff is always friendly, gym is clean and new and love the lobby, restaurant and bar area. Can’t say enough great things about this hotel!

Not to mention the breakfast is fantastic! You have to try to the banana bread!
