I searched for years to find a stylist and then I found Mark and I've trusted him with my hair the last 3 years. He is not only a talented artist but a warm genuine person. He is efficient but also takes time with his clients and gets to know their preferences and offers his wealth of knowledge. It is a pleasure to have my hair highlighted, colored, cut, and styled by such a skillful stylist. Robert has done my hair up, Becca my makeup for special occasions; I've left feeling like a princess! My husband and 2 children love Beauty Mark. Each person is special. Mark relates well with my girls and the unique needs of teens and tweens. The salon has a boutique of unique finds. They found me the perfect necklace for a special occasion when I was lost. Their hair products are luxurious. On occasion when my hair has been dry, his treatments have left my hair soft, full, shiny, and healthy. Can't really say enough about Mark or his salon, the Beauty Mark. One of the best recommendations I have received was the referral many years ago to this stylist.
I have extremely thick, temperamental hair, yet Mark is always up to the challenge. The sign of a really good stylist is one that understands how to best cut and work with the many different types of hair, rather than trying to put the latest trend on the client. I followed Mark to his own salon, which was built and is managed with fine detail. His staff is friendly, patient, knowledgeable and above all, professional. In addition to great cuts , they do beautiful color and highlights. Having tried many stylists in some of the top named salons, I can truly say that Mark and the other stylists are as good, if not better. =

I was lucky enough to be referred to Mark shortly after I moved to Fort Lauderdale. He is by far the best hair stylist that I have ever experienced. Mark is beyond excellent at what he does. Not all salons are created equal! From start to finish, The Beauty Mark delivers. The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by a warm and wonderful staff. Your stylist will work with you to create your perfect look and top of the line hair color is applied and then washed out with magic hands! Your hair is cut with precision and styled to perfection. Want to re-create the look at home? Of course you do! The staff will recommend just the right products for you....but they are never pushy! I can't say enough great things about this salon. Great energy, great service, great style....GREAT experience!

Mark has been making my hair look great for years! His experience and expertise keep my color looking amazing while at the same time keeping my hair shiny and healthy. I would give The Beauty Mark 6 stars if I could! Today I brought my daughters in to get pink hair extensions to support Gilda's Club of South Florida for Breast Cancer Awareness Month - It feels great to be able to have my hair done AND support the local community at the same time!

Bearded Straight Guy Review : I drive 45 minutes to get my style on with Mark. Here's why. The salon is upscale without being pretentious. The staff goes above and beyond to cater to you, including working with you to schedule appointments, offering refreshments, helping you select products, and they are always quick with a compliment. The products are top notch as far as my unsophisticated eye is concerned. Mark is a fantastic stylist who is in tune with the latest male fashion trends. He truly loves his profession and it shows. He never rushes or settles for less than perfection. Typically I show up in absolute alpha-straight-male condition (i.e. terrible long scruffy beard, hair a mess, etc.) and he has me walking out of there turning ladies heads. If you're looking for top notch service, quality hair care products, and relevant hair styling as a male, get in there!

I have used this salon since it opened and have watched it grow and mature into a top salon. This salon is committed to excellence in every way. Customer service is superb. If you are not satisfied, they will make it right. Mark Beckwith is an artist. He has a way with color that puts Monet to shame. The other stylists are also excellent. I have used Robert and Chris for haircuts. Everyone there is professional and proud of what they do. Additionally, Mark, the owner, is committed to the community. He has a heart of gold and always gives back more than he gets. Your money is well spent here.

Robert Accentura at the Beauty Mark has been my colorist and hair stylist for over 10 years. He is absolutely awesome! I first met Robert after another salon turned my hair almost orange and made it worse when trying to fix it. A friend referred me to Robert and he not only fixed my color beautifully, but he has been giving me great color and fabulous cuts ever since. When I leave his chair, I feel like a movie star! Plus, Robert is just a sweet guy! He gets to know his clients, and treats them like royalty. I also love the salon, it is so peaceful and serene. I can certainly recommend Robert and the Beauty Mark very highly!

The Beauty Mark is like a second home. Everyone here is so helpful and friendly . They have the best products, Kerastase of course. Mark has an incredibly talented team here. My hair has never looked or felt better! Outstanding service, a one of a kind in Fort Lauderdale.

From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed, but not overwhelmed - the kindness and enthusiasm was most sincere. Mark was my stylist today and will definitely continue to be. Aside from being the type of person you immediately want to be your best friend, Mark truly amazed me with his talent.

My goal was to achieve a "lob", so this is what I asked for. Mark offered his honest opinion about the length, style, and color and reiterated that if he was uncomfortable with something, he would not do it. Luckily for me, Mark agreed that this look was stylish and fresh. Everyone can make a hasty decision or two (or ten) about how they want to style their hair amid a grand epiphany...but will it look good? Yes, yes, and yes! Mark gave his blessing and was excited to start the transformation.

THE END RESULT WAS PERFECTION! I got EXACTLY what I wanted and so much more. I was so happy that when I came home to my fiancé, I teared up. Mark is an incredibly warm, intuitive, professional who knows exactly what women want. Switching up your style can be scary, but with a stylist like Mark, its exciting because his skill supersedes all other in Ft. Lauderdale. So, sit back, relax and watch magic happen at #BeautyMark!

I've posted a picture of the cut and will repost one of the color when I have that done in a week. PS, I took 12 inches off today!! It was easy and exciting!
