Tiger & Dragon Miami | After School Program & Martial Arts School

My son has been coming for a year and is absolutely in love with the program. They are very kind and care a lot for the kids. He goes to the karate and aftercare program throughout the year and he is always excited to go. They’re amazing!

This place is my Daughter’s second home and the instructors at T&D are her second family. My daughter has been going to T&D for 6 years now since age of 11. I should have written this review sooner. T&D has helped shape her into the woman she is today. Not only is the Martial Arts instruction second to none, but the qualities, guidance and life lessen that she has been taught at T&D are priceless. Before T&D our daughter was shy, nervous and lacked confidence, but Sensei Noel kept telling me that she was very talented and all she needs is confidence, we will get her there and WOW was he ever right. My daughter’s journey to success was paved by T&D. She joined their tournament team, began actively competing, learned that failure was the key to success, and did not quit. T&D delivered on their promise to find her confidence and it is unbelievable what kids can achieve when they believe in themselves and in their support group around them. 3 years ago she won the US Open Martial Arts Tournament winning all her matches, she became a National Honor Student in High school, She became the first girl in her High School’s history to place in the State Wrestling Championship, she won MVP this year for her school’s wrestling team, and this year she moved up in a division and also won the Newbreed jiu Jitsu tournament in the woman’s division. She now college commitments for wrestling and academics. I know I sound like I am bragging but I am proud father and so thankful to T&D. T&D was a huge part of all of this. They always believed in her and instilled a positive mindset even if she failed. Every time I get a chance to brag about T&D to others I do because I love this place and so does my family

I had put my son Elijah here so he can learn discipline, self-control, self-defense and gain confidence and that past few months that he has been here he has improved a lot in all of these areas. I really do recommend Tiger & Dragon for any kid of any age to come and participate in this amazing sport that can be used in their life forever.

Tiger and Dragon Miami is an amazing martial arts school, my 3 children have attended and continue to attend classes. My oldest is on their competition team which has been absolutely amazing having him in it, it teaches him responsibility, he has great role models, his instructors Mr. Pierre and Mr. Noel have taught him so many new techniques. He’s placed 1st place on his competition and we couldn’t be more proud. I highly recommend T&D to anyone looking for a mixed martial arts school for their children.

My daughter has been training here for several months and loves her MMA class. I like the diversity of the teachers. She has both male and female teachers. Her confidence has grown tremendously since she started. There are other teenage girls in her class, which makes her feel more comfortable. They are very professional. I highly recommend them!

They have not only helped him grow in many skills but also have contributed to his academic success. The teachers are so caring, they go above and beyond to bring out the best in the kids. The best after school program !

A friend of mine recommended me to Tiger & Dragon Miami about a year ago and I'm really happy with my son's progress overall.
My son has several learning disabilities and the staff was very accommodating to his needs. Not only do they help him with homework but he has an hour of martial art class, robotics and reading time. The facility is always clean and the staff are great l! They always update their social media on a daily basis, so it gives me a great insight on what the kids are doing.
They also have a summer camp, so I'm looking forward to putting him in this year.

Tiger and Dragon Miami has become a second home to our family! It is not only our daughters karate school, but camp for my two older step-children, personal training classes for myself (mom) and karate classes for my husband. Our family is so blessed to have come across this gym!!! It has brought us closer as a family, kept us active and served as a HUGE role model and example for our older kids, ages 12 and 14. The staff is amazing and the instructors are well versed in this field and patient with the class as everyone learns at different levels. We highly recommend this school to any family in Miami!!! Everyone who works at Tiger and Dragon is excellent. The entire team cares about each student and they demonstrate an exceptional level of professionalism. The instructors are extremely patient and knowledgable. If you want your child to learn leadership skills, respect others, and improve his/her athleticism, this is the place. I highly recommend this school for anyone interested in Martial Arts or raising a well-adjusted, confident kid.

My children love Tiger and Dragon. The staff is very attentive and compassionate with the kids. If you want your kids to learn karate plus values and discipline I recommend them. This is the best place in Miami. They will treat you with honesty and as family to you and to your kids.

The instructors do a great job in making our family feel welcomed. This place is like our second home! My two kids(age 5 and 7) not only have fun but they also learn great self defense techniques. They are always excited to tell me about how much fun they have. They learn about robotics, science, martial arts etc. Great place to keep the kids entertained and engaged!

Tiger Dragon Miami has become a second home for my family and I. Every morning when I drop my kids off for summer camp, I know they are in good hands. This facility and staff are very friendly. Their summer camp isn't your typical camp. They offer with a STEM/Robotics course, literacy class, and martial arts. The price is very economical and it has made a very positive impact on my son!

Words can’t begin to describe the comfort I have felt since my son started attending this facility. My son has soared academically, mentally and physically all thanks to the wonderful staff. I’m very grateful to have crossed paths with Mr. David. He truly took his time to understand and work with my son. He is an angel in disguise. Being an educator, it felt comforting to see my son be treated with so much attention, love and respect. The facilities family oriented aura shines through. Even the program manager (Ms. Ari) has helped make my experience a pleasant one. She is so sweet, knowledgeable and caring towards the kids. And lastly, Mr. Pierre...is WONDERFUL. You can tell from a mile away, he loves what he does. And parents, the beautiful part of Tiger and Dragon, is they are very transparent. The staff is very helpful and go through great lengths to make sure the students are enjoying their time. The area where the kids practice is very clean, as well as the rest of the school. I would highly recommend any parent to bring their child to Tiger & Dragon Miami because your kids will have an amazing time . My child has learned techniques that will help him defend from bullies at school.

This training facility is the best I have ever seen! I signed my son up for classes to help with discipline and behavior. I was not expecting the caliber of professionalism and expertise that I encountered. The entire staff is so knowledgeable about what the kids are supposed to learn, they treat all the students with respect and they address behavior problems immediately by using the karate techiques to motivate positive behavior. My son has learned responsibility as well as many karate techniques in a fun and safe environment. He is always excited for class and doesn't want it to end. I HIGHLY recommend this facility for anyone looking for an extracurricular activity for thier child.

Tiger and Dragon is my martial arts home. I have been training here for quite some time and have yet to have a complaint. Mr.Noel,the owner, is an amazing instructor and a very caring man. The assistant instructors are always helpful and are very patient with the youngest of students. All the programs that are available through this school are of great quality.

Tiger and Dragon is by far one of the MOST supportive facilities in the kendall area that I have taken my child to. Their afterschool care program(with certified teacher) assisted my child in completing homework assignments daily and provided structured Taekwondo classes with knowledgeable and caring instructors. They have always been receptive and supportive in all of my child's needs. They truly care about the success of every child and go above and beyond to support the family. I'm a student that has been attending Tiger and Dragon for almost a year. I've attended 3 other martial art schools, but this place really stood out. I 100% recommend this school for future students that are interested in martial arts in the West Kendall area.

Top Notch. I truly love T&D. It is a great combination of quality Kenpo Karate, caring instruction and a dedication to making your child a better, responsible teen. They have made an incredible difference in my daughter’s confidence and she has found a place that she enjoys coming to almost everyday.
