Wife and I ate there several weeks ago as we went through Ft Meade. Loved the food and the genuine atmosphere. Went back today with our daughter and grandchildren and the quality of our first visit was not an accident. Great food, reasonable prices, friendly and helpful people. Make sure to put this on your list of regular food stops.

Polite knowledgeable staff, if you're not sure what you want, they'll help you out.
I got the chicken burrito. It was amazing, loads of yummy chicken, rice beans, cheese.

Absolutely superb, home-cooked style authentic Mexicanfood. Growing up in southern California in a town with numerous family-owned-and-operated Mexican restaurants, this reminded me of home the moment I felt the soft lightly grilled tortilla. if the tortillas and green and red sauces were not made in house, they are definitely made locally. The burrito was extremely generous and ingredients had a brilliant aroma and flavor. I'll be stopping here every time I pass through.

It's a great place in are small town, we got a place we're we can eat some authentic taste of Hispanic food, welcome all people to eat at taco express.

I've hoping to find a good ma & pa burrito joint in Florida. All I kept getting were chain restaurants like Chipolte... and then while driving down US Rt 17.... I found this place. Ordered a burrito... I was in heaven. Very very very very very good. I will remember this place next time I come through here whenever that will be. Hopefully it will still be here next time. This place is great.

Under new owners... And it makes a big difference. I had stopped eating at these taco restaurants because of lack of flavor. Terrible Togo platting. But I picked up a order for my gf and her daughter. Got it home and it was very nicely boxed. not just thrown together. I took a bite of one, and oh what good flavor! Very friendly staff. I will be ordering from there for myself. Hope they keep up the great job.

First time being here, and let me tell you. The good was delicious and for a good price. I'm definitely going to be a regular here!!!! Awesome food!!

We stopped by on our way to Ft Myers from Orlando. The food was so yummy and authentic, the staff was super friendly and it was VERY clean. We will be stopping here again. Wish they were open on Sunday for our trip home.

*edited to add we just tried the salsa again and it was great, I think that day was just a fluke! * My husband and I went there the other night, I had the chicken quesadilla and 2 chicken tacos, he had the grande burrito and 2 steak tacos, all of which were great! However the chips and salsa were completely inedible. The chips tasted a little burnt and the salsa was soup….a flavorless soup at that. That is not normally how the salsa and chips taste, they usually are delicious. Maybe they were just having an off night?

Edit: the most recent two orders, the cashier has been wearing a mask. Thank you! The food is always delicious and they make our order just right.

We call in a pickup order here a few times each month. However, the last two times the young man working was not wearing a mask. We love the food and it's always ready quickly and the service is friendly, but anyone interacting with the public in a food service industry should practice safety precautions.

Amazing food!! Best I’ve had in a long time!!! My husband and I enjoyed so much that he kept ordering more food while I attempted to eat my plate!! Authentic, perfect Tamales, great family owned atmosphere!! Can’t wait to go back!!
