Fenney Nature Trail

Spent a splendid afternoon on the nature trail with my girlfriend, with camera in tow. Despite the mid-day high-contrast lighting the wildlife was active and I managed to capture a few keepers.

Short walk around a spring. Enjoy the view. Bring a lunch and pick one of the many picnic tables under the shade of the oaks.

Wow, what a cool place! A place of gathering and watching nature at its best!

Gorgeous area. Short boardwalk to really get amazing photos.

A very pretty nature trail. It is centered around a natural spring. Walkways are paved and there are multiple viewing platforms.

Beautiful walking trail to observe the natural springs and wildlife. Will definitely return.

Short .25 mile nature boardwalk around a natural spring pond (access from parking lot near Fenney Grill). Short, but very enjoyable.

Such a beautiful and tranquil area!

We saw egrets, Blue Herons and many beautiful types of fauna.

Absolutely beautiful..just so pretty to walk around....have seen alligators , turtles different birds...off to the side you will also see a few picnic tables....Pack a lunch great spot on a nicel day

This is a relaxing stop if you want some quiet time or would like a second stop on your itinerary when visiting the Marsh Bend nature trail. There are some secluded picnic tables situated on the foot path overlooking a lake and the view is beautiful.

Short trail area around the Fenney spring but you'll likely see 1 or more gators, a few local birds, possibly the local resident owls, lots of turtles and if you're lucky an otter will sometimes say hello too. Stay in the afternoon / evening for live music outdoors at Fenney Grill. The food is tasty too and very fresh. Near darkness the mosquitos get thick outdoors, so be ready for that...

I didn't realize you aren't supposed to take your dog on the path. When I got to the outlet behind the restaurant, I saw the sign and took my Bishon/Toy Poodle off. Nice walkway though. Maybe there are paths to walk with pets.

Surrounds a natural spring. Informative signs all around explaining the types of wildlife and foliage in the area. Very peaceful short walk.

Gorgeous 1/4 mile trail. Lots of wildlife. Saw gator napping, turtles and many birds, a bunny. Fills the heart with peaceful feeling and appreciation of mother nature.
