Cody's Original Roadhouse - Brownwood

Everything about the experience was awesome. Our waitress was fantastic! Service was fast and efficient. I love a restaurant that doesn't even ask to bring out a small child's food right away. The bread and cinnamon butter are so tasty. The peanuts kept my 3yo happy and busy, a major win! Can't beat 2 for 1 beverages. The food was incredible and we tried a wide variety of options. Chocolate cake was giant and yummy.

This is a fun spot to grab a bite and drink. Server was very friendly and let us know about the different specials of the day. The patio had great views.

Delicious food, great atmosphere for the entire family, fast service, and amazing customer service, every body is very nice, friendly, and lovely, but we highly recommend you look for Gregory he is the best

It always looks so busy. This Saturday we tried it for dinner. Experience was fantastic. It was busy. Sever Ellen was great. Even though it was busy she did a great job. Salad and rolls are awesome. We had scallops as an appetizer. They were good. I had steak bites. Imagine a few more in the picture since I had a few before I snapped the picture. Steak bites were very good. Got carrot cake to go. Have not tried it yet but looks yummy. Definitely will be back.

Best Ribs ever! Should have gotten a picture of the rack of ribs, but fell in love and just started on in. They were fall off the bone tender, meaty and delicious. By far the best portion size I've ever seen with over 30 years in food and beverage that's saying something.The atmosphere was eclectic, neat and staff were very attentive. Thanks for a great experience!

We brought our out of town guests last week.. third chance..won't do it again..food just ok..my red sangria was a Rose with 7-up..they have definitely changed management, and/or owners. I had over cooked Grouper, my husband had 8 oz prime rib that was 4 Oz fat and grizzle..5 of us, Bill + tip just under $200. It used to be our go to place😔

What a lively place! We stopped in for dinner around 6pm and only waited about 10 minutes for a high top table on the deck. Live music and interesting drunken dancing was taking place so the entertainment was quite…entertaining. Large menu and LOVE the 2-for-1 drinks EVERY day! We ordered a bacon cheeseburger topped with onion straws, and fries. The large dough bombs, as my husband called them, were these huge melt-in-your-mouth rolls that came with deliciously fluffy, whipped cinnamon butter. Service was great, bathrooms were clean. A perfect night to eat a delicious dinner outside!

Such a fun atmosphere. Live music. Delicious burgers and happy hour. Our server Michael was amazing. He was attentive and very personable. Hope we get him as our server next time too!

First time trying Cody's and won't be the last. Great experience! Craaaaaaaig was our waiter-- hilarious and on point with his service. Best drinks we probably ever had and the food was amazing. Can't wait to bring the family back here!

This is an old Texas kind of restaurant. The food was great, the service was very good, the prices were fair, and the peanuts were excellent! One of those eat a small bucket of peanuts and throw the shells on the floor kind of place!

Took friends here for dinner and we had a wonderful experience. Food was excellent as well as service. Eating outdoors in March was enjoyable

My first visit to this location was really good. Service is always great. The food was delicious as well but on my second visit the other day, My food was terrible. The French onion soup was average, not very exciting. The nachos were disgusting. They were minimal for over $12, they delivered them with ranch dressing if you can believe that! I needed to ask for salsa. The chips were stale The plate was 1/3 empty and covered with stale Christmas colored chips, yuck! The salad that went with the soup was a house salad. Another great disappointment nothing but iceberg lettuce one yellow pepper and a few slivers of red onion in a giant bowl doused with dressing before it even came to my table. Also disgusting salad, I spent $38 on these three dishes. I figure they probably had maybe $5 in their food they served me. I'm not giving up, but the next time better be darn good or I'm never going back.

My husband and I enjoy our anniversary weekend!! And Denise the bartender was amazing, friendly and awesome personality. She is definitely a great asset to Cody’s company. Definitely we will be back soon. Thank you, Denise!!

Wow! This is really cool restaurant at Brownwood, Florida. It's worth it to be there and foods we're great and drinks. We had 2 turkey club sandwiches, hamburger with fries and fries pickles and mushrooms. 2 Blue Moon draft beer 🍺 price for one!

Hubby and I had a date lunch and I have to tell you, the experience was wonderful? Service was great! Cuisine fantastic! We'll be back for sure!

First time here. This may be our new favorite restaurant! The Sunday dinner special is delicious and very affordable. Our server Sierra was great, too! We talked about making this a monthly Sunday tradition. We had no negative comments about anything. Keep up the good work!

The food is amazing. kat was the best waitress I've had in years. The food was spaced out perfectly, so there was no rush. The salad best I've ever had, and i don't care for salad amazing. Scallops great app perfectly cooked. Then chicken wings just normal size great flavor, steaks are off the hook cooked perfectly veggy's great, bake potatoes are the star can't recommend enough.
And again kat made the night so friendly recommends what to do for breakfast so nice should be the head waitress and train staff. Please stop in and I'm from new England so no ties to anything down south.

I enjoyed every bit of my eating experience at Cody's Brownwood I had gone during the busiest time of the evening 6:30 there had to be hundreds of people I waited about 20 minutes maybe another 10 minutes or 15 minutes for my food I got a wonderful steak cooked to perfection and the service was absolutely fantastic very happy 😊

Jeremy our server was friendly and efficient and the food was amazingly delicious and the beer cold and wonderful! My favorite place for steak around here!
