During one of the worst times in my life Jonathan was there to help me and make it easier. Putting my mom to rest was so difficult and he sat with me and was so kind. I was a big mess to say the least. He was so patient and talked me through the paper work never pushing or getting short even when I would seem to lose it. I pray that everyone would have someone like him and his team to sit with them and help them. I will forever be grateful for having people who care as much as Jonathan and the team there did!! Thank you for having the hearts you have because it makes a difference.

I was very impressed with the assistance I received. I did not know what to expect. When I called to arrange to have my husband placed in the care of Owen Funeral Home, I asked for an estimate for their services. I was pleased with the estimate and surprised that there were no add ons. The chapel was beautiful as was the reception room. The personnel were amazingly supportive and considerate. They took care of all the required paperwork. All else I can say is Thank you so much for making this terrible time so much easier for me.

During the service planning, we were made to feel as comfortable as they could, met with patience and understanding, had our questions and concerns answered and we left understanding what we had planned for our loved one. Our family couldn't have chosen a better funeral home to handle the arrangements for my grandmother's funeral.

There's never a good time to lose a loved one, but my grandmother passed away on the afternoon of New Year's Eve. I'm sure no one wants to work on a holiday, but the gentlemen who came to pick up my grandmother were incredibly courteous.

Thankfully I haven't had to plan a funeral in a long time, so it slipped my mind how many details there are to finalize in a brief period of time. Shane was the director we worked with and he made the process so much easier. We weren't sure which florist to call, but Shane recommended one and we trusted that he would handle it. The casket spray looked wonderful with the suit my grandmother was wearing and the flowers appeared super fresh.

Also, we chose to have the funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home instead of church. My church often performs a particular song at funerals and I was upset that it wasn't going to be a part of my grandmother's service. Shane asked which song it was and came up with the EXACT version I wanted played.

I would highly recommend Owen Funeral Home over any other funeral provider in the area. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly caring and professional. The facility itself is also very clean, comfortable and tasteful.

Earnest Michael Williams was my brother. He passed from this life to the next on September 5, 2020 from lung cancer. This was the most devastating event that I have ever experienced. An event that shook me all the way through my core to my very soul.
I want to thank Owens Funeral Home; Cory Brown and her staff for the professional and loving care that was given to my brother and my family during this most difficult time. From the moment Josh James and Kenny Jacobs arrived at my home to take Michael to the funeral home, there was an air of caring and concern for the job they were doing and for the family that they were doing it for; Josh and Kenny showed kindness, compassion, and gentleness in every aspect of removing Michael from our home. A little kindness goes a long way when dealing with a grieving mother that had just lost her first born son.
As the arrangement were being made by Cory Brown and Shane Delong, the professionalism, compassion, and concern continued. Every thing I wanted for Michael was done and so very, very much more. From making sure the music was right and setting out pictures in a certain order so they could all be viewed in the best possible light to putting together a video that showed Michael in all aspects of his life to providing a police escort through two counties during our trip to the cemetery; Everything was perfect....I could not be more pleased with the service we received from Owens Funeral Home; Cory Brown and her entire staff. Some may say that the service we received was just normal operating procedure; just what a funeral home does....Well I am here to tell you that is it not true. Owens Funeral Home; Cory Brown and her entire staff are the most awesome people I know. Their professionalism and compassion for what they do and the families that they do if for is way beyond reproach. Thank you Cory, Josh, Kenny, and Shane for making an unbearable situation just a little easier.

Every staff member is kind, compassionate, helpful and professional. The funeral home and chapel are always clean and tastefully decorated.

I chose Owen Funeral home when covid-19 took my beloved husband's life 5/28/21. We had together planned my dad's funeral using Owen just 2 months prior. If it's understandable, the staff made it a positive experience. I know we gave my dad the service that honored his life. Because of this, I had no hesitation choosing Owen again. I had great concerns the staff would be able to make my husband "look normal", as covid-19 had destroyed his body horribly. His face and mouth were very damaged with much tissue missing. Also lots of discoloration from gangrene starting in his hands. I know this is probably too graphic. But I explain this to state how perfectly they repaired my beloved face, mouth, and hands. My husband looked as handsome as ever! In choosing the blanket flowers, I just said "masculine and outdoorsy". It was very beautiful- and perfect. Masculine and outdoorsy. The staff was ever concerned over our well-being; me the wife, our 2 daughters and their husbands. From planning the service through delivery of his Life Celebration, all was well.
In addition, my dad's funeral was out of state. I was able to plan the entire service, all details done locally. Then basically, just "show up" at the other funeral home. I did have a couple of phone conversations with the out of state funeral home, basically confirming my plans. My husband and I went to the other funeral home a day early to ensure all was OK. And it totally was. Nothing was needed. Owen took care of every detail. This made it so much easier on /for me.
