Hampton Inn Daytona Beach-Speedway/Airport

Pleasantly surprised. Nicely updated rooms. Great location next to Daytona Speedway and airport, and across from mall.
Many food options in walking distance. Service was above and beyond, specifically hospitality from Michael Meyers. He spent a lot of time just interacting with guests at breakfast. Nice to see that level of service.

Recently my son was in Halifax Hospital. Our family from out of state wanted a clean motel near the hospital, restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Staying here gave them everything they needed. They were delighted to see the Racetrack even without a race. They stayed three days and loved their room and the pool. A great place to destress after their long drive here and easy access to the hospital.

We had a excellent experience overall primarily because of the front desk staff especially Sheryl, who was extremely helpful & accomodating.
Rooms are clean & fairly well appointed. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options to choose from.

This hotel staff was very nice. Hot breakfast was good. I was hoping for some bacon. But, that wasn't a big deal. Sausage patties, links were delicious and my entire stay was good. My experience in my room was nice and clean. However, the toilet was for a child and not adults. Oh yes the mattress was hard and both my husband and I back hurt the next day. Other than those minute things we enjoyed our stay. We will revisit In the future.

We used this Hampton for a sports team tournament, girls lacrosse and interfaced directly with the staff for arrangements. Traditionally we prefer Hilton properties even though they are slightly higher priced. In this case all factors for an excellent stay were in place. We found that daily maid service had been suspended and room servicing during the duration of stay was only by specific request. Being a Florida resident we were not surprised as this was post July 1 so we went out of our way not to stress the staff in any way. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and allowed us to have our evening team meetings in the common area and even allowed us late check out in several rooms so we could shower after the morning games before driving home early afternoon. As sometimes happens with a team, storms and travel delays can cause the arrival of individual team members before the coach can check in the room block. This happened on this visit and the staff called me, verified details and accommodated the early arrivals so we did not have anyone "freaking out" in the lobby. Teams are always a challenge and there is little written in reviews about the extra effort it takes for a team except how reservations were wrong or the team was too loud to other customers. The impact of the morning breakfast staff wishing the girls luck for the upcoming games or seeing them afterwards on the elevator , asking the score and then joking that the wins were because of staying at the Hampton goes along way in defining how these diverse young women see the world. When treated respectfully, reservations moved around to put us into the right rooms so we are not to 'loud' to others and it is all done with a warm welcome, I feel compelled to say "We Appreciate You" from the Blue Roses Lacrosse Foundation. We will be back next year!

Pros.. Great location, Breakfast very yummy and nicely set up. (Michael Myers) that is his name, was very helpful and made our breakfast experience nice and welcoming.. (Give him employee of the month) Had shampoo in the bathroom tub and bars of soap. Rooms felt clean and had plenty of towels. Places to plug USB in rooms and main lobby. Nice eating area and a place to buy snacks. Fridge, T.V. hair dryer, Iced cold air and a coffee pot.

Cons… Needs conditioner for hair in the bathrooms if you’re going to have shampoo or one of those half and half. Some of our wall plugs were loose and the carpet in our room bothered my allergies and I don’t like hotel carpet because of cleanliness. Rooms are alittle small but it’s a older hotel and that’s ok we stayed only a few nights.

Everything about this place is awesome. It’s clean, they have hot breakfast-omelets, sausages, red velvet waffles…and more. But the best part is their customer service. Shout out to Michael Myers, yes his real name, for making our stay even better every day. From breakfast, to making us laugh. Everyone took great care of us and made our stay awesome. Also shout out to Makeisha Thank y’all!!!

Nice place. Rooms were clean, they let us check in early, and it's only about 4 minutes to gate 40 at the track. The only word thing is they don't bring you more towels, you have to go to the desk and ask for them.

Our family enjoyed our stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. The front desk staff were very helpful during check-in and check-out. We enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning. (Coffee was great!) The hotel lobby and rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff quickly accommodated us when we had any requests.

Clean and beautiful hotel and grounds, well taken care of, friendly staff, Cyndy was familiar with the eateries in the area and made very good recommendations. The room was clean, it smelled clean. Lots of plugs for electronics. Plenty of towels. Excellent hot breakfast and cold choices.

Room a little small, well maintained building very clean nice pool and hot tub. All staff friendly and profesional

It's almost literally next door to the race track. Clean room. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Management is very customer focused, and explained how the transaction part would work as he proceeded through it. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome hotel, room was excellent, breakfast was about a 9 pout of 10. I highly recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed. My check in person was very friendly. an older lady. she made my rough day come to a very positive end with just her friendliness. I will return

We have stayed here twice and both rooms have been wonderful and comfortable.

Been here a few times last year and wasn’t too bad, Stayed here 6/15-6/18 and the service was much better, They take pride in keeping the hotel and the rooms clean. Would definitely come back again.

We stayed for several days while visiting our son, who attends a close by university. We were given a second floor end room, which we are thankful for. We were traveling with our dogs, and that room meant hearing less noise. We checked in using the Hilton app and while that was nice to skip the front desk, the digital key did not work. (FYI Hilton... this is the second Hilton hotel that the digital key did not work!) The front clerk quickly got us key cards right away and we were in our room with no problems after that. Worth noting is that the room was small. It had one small chair to sit in, a little refrigerator and a microwave available. We did have a tiny view through the trees of the Daytona Speedway. The room and bed were comfortable. Every employee we had contact with was kind and friendly. Breakfast was served each day with several choices available to choose from. Also worth noting is that they have a nice area in the lobby for sitting. We had family visit and there was plenty of room for us to sit and visit, especially since we couldn't all fit in our room. There are plenty of tables and chair available as well as several comfy chaira ina separate sitting area. Nice! The hotel is in a great location and we had a very pleasant stay. We will absolutely use this hotel again when we travel to Daytona.

New beds, nice and soft. Too many Hilton properties have old very hard beds. This place was dreamy after a long weekend in Hamptons with old beds.

Staff was very friendly! Breakfast was good and staff here were very kind and on top of everything. Room was clean. Strange not to have a fan in the bathroom - but that wouldn’t stop us from staying here again.
