Barracks of Hope

I live at the barracks and we each have our own room with a secure room with a lock and a security system in place around the entire facility. We also have a Resident Assistant that stays around the clock to provide what ever we might need. They are there to help us with our problems and issues and some time it might feel they are singling a person out when they are only there to give us the help we might need

Great staff, clean, staff goes out the way to help you get back on your feet.

I walked to barracks of hope on Monday 4 miles an All I got was yelling at me rude behavior nasty attitudes very disrespectful people I'm a homeless veteran I have FL ID that states I'm a veteran I brought my DD-214 forms to DMV barracks of hope wants me to prove I'm a veteran I have social security card and birth certificate what more do they want I'm diabetic and don't have bus fare to get to VA to get a referral Daytona Beach FL is a control environment were if ur financially stricken ur through Daytona Beach FL is gonna keep u down unless ur a privilege white person
An folks aren't racist at all but the system is though I know this

I've never been treated so poorly. I was better on the street.
