Great location! Excellent customer service! Store has a lot of variety love it!

I work around the corner of this location and frequent it often. From the moment I enter the doors I am greeted and felt welcome. All of the staff are helpful in finding products and will even assist with locating it. The checkout process is always efficient and very often the manager will step in to make sure it continues to run that way. I am extremely impressed with this location and even though there is one closer to my home, I pick up the things I need from here before I head home from work. Keep up your GREAT work and I have no doubt your customer base will continue to increase!

The manager there is a long time resident of that store and always has a warm smile and something nice to say to everyone

This is one of the BEST Dollar General’s I’ve walked into! Andy is the Manager and he’s very friendly and helpful and always has a smile on his face! Everything is easily accessible. Just looking for a quick easy stop? This is the place to go!!

Andy and his staff are always friendly and helpful. However, corporate needs to do some serious maintenance on this building. I just left there, and it has been storming here today. They are quite literally ankle deep in water inside the store this evening. Shame on you, corporate, for not fixing the roof. No one should have to work in that kind of conditions.

My sister called me to pick up butter and marshmallows before we arrived at her house for her first cooking extravaganza at her place. Thanksgiving 2020 everything was closed, ran into 7Eleven, butter sold out and of course they don't have marshmallows, but it's NOT a supermarket. So we spotted the Dollar General in New Smyrna, went in and I was totally Wowwed! They have everything, I wanted to even start my Christmas shopping right then, boy I quickly hustled out because the guys were waiting in the car, while I ran in. But I swear, I am going to hit that place up, the prices are great and it's not a Walmart! Cool stuff for house, cleaning goods, paper, cosmetics AND a nice fresh and frozen good food items, candy, balloons, toiletries, party goods at lots of cute gift and Holiday nicnacs! The staff were so friendly and social, I felt bad they had to work, but they don't seem to mind. When I thanked one of the cashiers for being an essential employee, she said, "Oh, it's ok, I'm getting off to have dinner with my family and kids at 4:30." People like that can set a customer's outlook on the whole day, just by being cool and friendly, blessings to her! I like that, everyone in good holiday spirit, when these days and times are so frugal. Dollar General is just awesome!

The manager is easily my favorite person to deal with in any store I shop at, he remembers faces and builds a rapport with customers, his attitide reflects in the staff as they are always helpful and courteous. I will continue to shop at this particular branch even if it's out of my way. 👍👍👍

It's a Dollar general... There's not much to say about a Dollar General. However, about a year ago they hired a new general manager. I will say that he definitely has brought the morale of the employees up. They are always cheerful and welcoming.

I just moved here to Daytona Beach. I live down the road from this store. I shop here all of the time, everyone is so nice there. This one particular day i happen to leave my wallet there. I had my debit and credit card in there plus all of my rent money for the month. I didn't even know i left it there. The store manager found my wallet went through it to find any phone numbers and he found my moms number and called her in Missouri and told her he has my wallet. Mom called me and then the next day i went and picked it up with nothing missing at all. I just want tp say i highly respect this man.. I wish more of us were like him. This world would be a better place! I owe him for being honest.. He refused any money i offered him.. Tell him about this review and give him and his staff a 5 star... Ill only shop at his store... He made me feel good about others and was very encouraging... Thank you sir for your honesty and integrity... Kevin

I can always find the item(s) I'm looking for. The folks who work there are courteous and know where EVERYTHING is located. And the Manager, Sandra is a hard working lady regardless of which store they send her to.

THIS Dollar General is awesome! The Mgr is extremely helpful and clerk/cashier Jeremy is very nice as well.

Again, this particular Dollar General is the BEST! Staff is great and the Mgr Andy ALWAYS goes above and beyond!

Just love me some Dollar Generals anywhere,just recently downloaded there coupon app and U SAVE SO MUCH its A must and its reliable,only thing is do all ur coupons before arriving,u won't get internet in store

Dollar General is a great place to pick up necessities. Often times at a better price than WalMart. This Dollar General has a good selection of beachwear and sunscreen. Nice employees, and a clean bathroom! A++++++++++++++++

Great local store where I can save myself gas by not going to Walmart. Located beachside Daytona Beach and a blessing. Ten minute round trip instead of the 40 minutes needed to just drive to Walmart. Great convenience and a clean store.

The manager is the nicest person. You can always find what you need and food section has been updated with more food choices

When I need to grab quick things like Milk or candles they have it! It's fast . Carry some really nice things! Great for quick gifts!
