Southern Diesel has always been up-front and honest about scheduling my appointments, the repair estimates and any immediate repairs or safety concerns to be considered while my Ford F350 was up on their lift. Being a 'shade tree' mechanic, I understood, and agreed with additional work brought to my attention. The mechanics treat customers vehicles as if they were their own. In other words, no short cuts taken.
It's comforting to know there's a repair shop out there that won't 'up-sell' work needlessly, or gouge you to their advantage.

You guys I must say hands down to southern diesel! As I was traveling my car gave out unfortunately, once I found a tow service in the area as I must say hands down to the tow guy John as well who recommended this shop I had no clue what to expect. Got there and the guys were great very welcoming, professional pretty chill place they jumped right on the job without hesitation was very knowledgeable of what the problem was just by me explaining pretty impressive. Service was great communication wonderful and fast service my car is running great and I was able to commute back home without any issues I would use again.

These guys are the real deal. And worth the 1 hour drive. Was at 2 other shops, Spent $2800 between the 2 and they were just guessing . never fixed the problem. Thank you Southern diesel for outstanding service!

Took my 2007 Toyota Tundra 4X4 in for power steering fluid leak and a electrical issue with not wanting to turn over every now and then. Great guys, very knowledgeable. I am not a mechanic, but the guys were able to explain everything to me in terms that I could understand and not try to talk over my head. Ended up with new rack and pinion, power steering pump and lines. The truck did the the crank or turn over after repairs and preforming test drive. Starter had to be pulled to replace a $20 part that was damaged when the starter was replaced 1 1/2 years ago. If you have never changed a starter in a 2007 tundra 4x4 don't, it is a job and a half. The guys kept me informed on the repairs needed and whether or not I wanted to proceed. Great work, reasonable price, will be taking mustang gt in to have 4:10 gears installed soon.

I have a F250, D got me right in and LT fixed me up and had me back on the road. Thanks for the work guys. I will be back when another problem occurs eventually.

If I could give 10 stars I would!! My husband and I were on the way home from vacation when our truck went into limp mode. We were an hour from home and pulling a 40' camper. The closest truck stop put us in contact with Southern Diesel so we "limped" another 10 miles to drop off the truck. They gave us some suggestions on local campgrounds, (which was walking distance). Knowing that we were "stranded," they immediately started working on our truck. We were on the road in less than 48 hours, being that the part had to be ordered. There was no BS, just quick, honest and reasonable priced service. We couldn't be more grateful for the team there taking care of us, knowing we need to get back home. THEN...they sent a text the next day to ask how the truck was running and checking to make sure we got home OK. A million THANK YOUs!!

These guys know there stuff . If you can dream it they can build it ! If you break it they can fix it . From trucks , atvs, airboats, to my samurai . Fast friendly reasonably priced professional services!

I am a mechanic, I'm not able to do as much as I used to. I have come to trust Southern Diesel with my auto needs. They do exhalent work at a fair price. I don't trust just anyone with my car needs. I've had rear wiper motor replaced, coil packs and plugs replaced, and lately my fan clutch. I'll be using them as my needs appear.

I took my 2003 chevy silverado 6.6 duramax in to have a oil leak taken care of I wasn't in a big hurry for it but 2 days later I received a phone call from Mike and he explained to me exactly what was going on and found a few other things t. He told me he had to order a few of the parts to repair the issues the truck had, I told him to go ahead repair the problems and go ahead and service it also. I couldn't get anyone in Oreat needed attention to it because I couldn't wait 3 months for them to give me a appointment, so on the next Monday received the phone call from Mike and the truck was ready. My wife Lori and I drove down to the shop picked it up and wow the truck hasn't drove any better thanks again to the excellent work.

Great people and great shop. I have taken my 2011 F250 to them twice and have been very happy. Once for a stuck caliper and another for cab bushing replacement. Very easy to deal with and were able to complete before I needed to haul each of those following weekends. Highly recommend and I will be back as needed in the future.

Southern Diesel has performed maintenance on my Ford F-350 for more than three years even to the extent of installing a new engine. They have the knowledge to repair difficult issues within a reasonable time frame while performing vehicle maintenance.

Did not have work done this time, but they have worked on a different vehicle in the past and was very satisfied with their work. The current vehicle that they would not work on was a VW Golf TDI 1.9. I had bought it thinking since I had a diesel repair shop nearby, it wouldn't be a problem. But Southern Diesel said VW required special diagnostics they did not have. But they referred me to a shop in Leesburg, that referred me to a shop in Ocala, that referred me to another shop, that referred me to another shop ......
Moral of the story .... Do NOT but a VW diesel

These guys are amazing angels dressed as mechanics. They made time to help me when I hit a piece of metal on I75 that ripped my heat shield. It was late in the day & they were hot & tired but took me in immediately, got me back on the road & would not accept payment. I am so grateful for their kind assistance.

Honest, trustworthy and VERY knowledgeable. Mike and his mechanic team know their sh** when it comes to diesels! Always go the extra mile to explain things. Rachel in the office is super sweet and very helpful! Definitely found our Diesel shop! Very happy customers!

So here we go, I could not get a shop to work on my possible timing chain issue for my 2013 Ford Flex. Until the day I call and spoke with Wes over at Southern Diesel. He was very professional and gave me a quote in time right to my email with everything listed in full detail. So I immediately brought my Car in and it goes to show it wasn't a timing issue but a very bad exhaust leak. It was due to a cracked manifold, after figuring that out, Wes ordered the parts promptly. Even though I told them they had time to spare they still did the job done super quick and way faster then expected. Mike followed up with a text the day after the repair to make sure everything was in working order.
Just because they are a Diesel shop they don't shy away from doing anything automotive.
I highly recommend them for all your repair/upgrade needs and will be brining in my Jeep for future upgrades.
