Not your Mama's Cafe offers down to earth home cooking meals. 🤗 It's delicious!! 😋Fried green tomatoes was superb!! Food was great, service was excellent & atmosphere was comfortable!!! I would suggest trying this establishment, a person wouldn't regret it, It'll be worth your time!!! 😉 The crab platter was fantastic! 😊 The stuffed mushrooms are also a great choice but the fried mushrooms are equivalent to the stuff. The waitresses are super nice!! You have to experience it because explaining it just doesn't give it justification!!!

We had the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Boudin Dip, both were fabulous. Their bread roll are amazing. The service was great and the style of the Cafe was very cool.

All I can say is this some the best food and drinks I have tasted. I have been here 3 times, and everything was delicious each and every time. I will surely be going back. This is also a great place for large gatherings. Can't wait to go back and try another dish. Customer service isnals excellent.

Our food was great as was the service! This restaurant is a family-owned spot that includes even the youngest helpers handing out menus, so sweet. We ordered the gator PoBoy and chicken fried chicken. Both were delicious.

They have an outdoor patio if you want to enjoy your meal away from the main floor. I noticed restroom stall locks wouldn’t lock (I tried them all haha), just have someone stand guard or be prepared to stick your foot out to close it if someone accidentally walks in on you. Besides that the facilities are clean though.

Side note: pay cash if you can! They do take card but you will need to pay a small transaction fee to offset the card fee. Regardless how you pay, give them your business :)

Food was delicious 😋...Unfortunately our server was too busy dealing with a party at the other end of the restaurant , so we were somewhat forgotten about. But fortunately for my small party of three, John stepped up and took great care of us. I still left my 18% on top of the bill and John a separate tip of his own but honestly, he deserved it all! Great job John!

Enjoyed our visit to this roadside eatery! Spinach dip is a must and the po boys are delicious! If we are ever back in southern Louisiana, we will stop in again.

This restaurant is really pretty! I love the tavern-like look when I go to places, and the Chicken Parmesan is VERY good! Especially the smothered green beans that I got with it. Overall, very nice and if we come through that area we'll definitely be back! 😋💕

Always great food when I go here! The food is always fresh, hot and authentic. My family and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and we had great service as well. So many options of different types of food to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who’s looking for some good southern eating!

This is the perfect place for a small intimate wedding, reception, birthday party, engagement, food is delicious with a chocolate cake that will put you to sleep. The staff is extremely professional, warm and inviting, there is also an out door patio situated in the middle of the restaurant. The bar is an excellent place to meet a stranger and fall in love. Great seating for family as well and TV's for viewing pleasure.

This restaurant catered for our wedding this past weekend! The food they served at our wedding was beyond incredible! The flavors were bursting with Louisiana goodness. The food they provided at our wedding was incredible! The flavors were so rich and authentic, it felt like a taste of Louisiana right for our cocktail hour and reception. Which was perfect for our guest that had never been to Louisiana before. It was an absolute hit with everyone at the wedding. Highly recommend them for any event if you want to treat your taste buds! The prime rib was packed with savory goodness, the crawfish Mac and cheese was perfectly seasoned, bbq shrimp was delicious and the pepper Jack filled boudin balls had just the right amount of spice. We had so much more other food not mentioned but I have to say it was a true Cajun feast that left everyone wanting more. Our guests were definitely in for a treat! 🌶🍤🌽😋

We were passing thru during a cross country move and I desperately wanted some Gumbo while in LA. The Seafood Gumbo did not disappoint!! I actually wished I would've gotten a bowl and not a cup and had it for my whole dinner lol. The portions are big, my husband and I shared a the seafood angel hair pasta and barely made a dent, it was delish! The kiddos popcorn shrimp was also a huge delicious portion. If you're passing thru I highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant itself was a super cute setup.

Again we had a delicious meal. Never disappointed. The filet is the best we've had in the state of LA. And we've had a bunch. Tonight was Valentine's dinner and I'm so glad we made reservations. We also shared the crab platter and their rolls are what we drive 40 minutes for😁

My family and I decided to try this place after seeing it on many road trips through the area. We were blown away by the excellent and fresh food, portion sizes, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere. We liked it so much, we stopped back by on our way home (the very next day!). We took a total gamble and it absolutely paid off, highly recommend!

Food was fantastic!! The seafood dip was amazing. The crawfish angel hair pasta was delicious. The fried fish and shrimp combo was perfectly cooked.

Twice we’ve stopped there from trips north to south La. Outstanding service, menu, prices were enjoyed both times ! Highly recommend it for original Louisiana fare !

It was pretty cool. Prices are high so I didn't order anything but loved the building and next to it was a tree literally growing in the middle of the old tree. It was really neat!
