I brought my sons out on a Thursday night. We had never tried Mediterranean food before and asked the server for suggestions. She was amazing and provided amazing service!!!! I wish I knew her name but she made sure that we had an amazing experience and even brought us out complimentary dishes for us to try. The food was awesome!!!! We will be coming back soon all the way from Atlanta! Thanks you guys for an amazing experience and food💗

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he loved it! We had been about a year ago, and we haven’t been since then, but it’s just as good as the first time we went there. The service is very friendly. It’s a small restaurant, but I think that’s what makes it so nice, it’s not too crowded. The cheese curds were VERY delicious and we absolutely LOVED the beer battered onion rings. My boyfriend got the Turkish coffee, and it came on the cutest little serving tray. He absolutely loved the coffee. I’m a very picky eater, but I took a few bites of my boyfriends entree, which was the “Beef Shawarma Wrap” and loooved it. It had a unique taste and was seasoned well. Our appetizers came with Spicy Sauce, and we ordered an extra cup of Ostro sauce. Both were very good, but mixed together, they were perfect. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience and we can’t wait to come back, from the customer service, to the atmosphere, to the good food, all was good.

Food was delicious! We are from out of state and found this place as we were exploring Dalton, Georgia. We sat outside to enjoy the nice weather; We ordered the falafel and hummus for appetizers; for entrees we ordered the shawarma wrap, falafel wrap and the shrimp wrap; all meals were delicious and good sized; the side we ordered were curly fries which I feel they were too small in portion sized; an employee came out and checked on us as well- we will be returning when back in town!

I am so happy that I found this Turkish restaurant in Dalton . I have lived in Turkey for 10 years . When I go to this restaurant all memories came to my mind ( baklava , Turkish music, kebab … ) . The food is amazing . We ordered hummus and chicken shawarma. Staffs are friendly and helpful . Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended for Mediterranean foods . I haven’t a chance to see the owner and speaks Turkish language to him .

Cafe Ostro has some of the freshest food in Dalton. The flavor combination are on point. Some of the best chicken shawarma I’ve ever eaten. Their Greek Salad is really flavorful and big enough to share. I highly recommend eating here

What a delightful place to eat! Food was delicious and fresh, service was outstanding.

In town for a wedding and stopped in. I got the chicken shawarma bowl with Greek salad. Absolutely delicious. Fresh veggies, perfectly steamed rice, and the chicken was seasoned and grilled to perfection. Likely coming back for lunch tomorrow before leaving town.

Wonderful Mediterranean selections with many dishes easily made vegan. Friendly service. Suspect family owned. Well worth the detour from interstate.

Amazing food! We loved it so much we bought several of the sauces to go. They even have tables games which our family enjoyed while waiting on our food. We'll definitely be back!

This place is Awesome if you love great Mediterranean style foods. Very authentic and naturally flavorful without all the artificial stuff in it. They know how to use the Herb's and Spices to make the food flavorful without overpowering it. This is my go to restaurant, love the peaceful atmosphere and friendly service.

I discovered this restaurant in December of 2022 and have visited plenty of times since, most recent visit being yesterday. I absolutely love the Turkish coffee and chicken shawarma bowl, and their hummus is delightful! I plan to try the cheese steak sandwich next visit!

P.S., I noticed, yesterday, that their menu indicates kids meals (without a drink) are free after 5 pm. :) Awesome!

First time trying Mediterranean food and it was soooo good!!! I had the baba ghanoush and cheese curds for appetizers. That baba ghanoush had such a great flavor and with that fresh pita. For our dishes we had the beef shawarma and the flavors were great, and we also had the falafel.The owner greeted and chatted with all the customers, great experience.

Amazing food and staff. Always a smile, and the owner is supportive of local schools. That goes a long way in my book, so I will continue to eat the yummy food and support those who support the kids.

My wife and I gleefully discovered this restaurant thru our son and daughter in law. They had been coming home with delicious tidbits of baklava from a restaurant in Dalton.
We were hooked from there.

I also suffer from IBS and a glutton allergy. I have never had a bed meal here, or have suffered any symptoms.

The food here is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the owner is thrilled to serve you quality food.

My husband and I came here for lunch and were so surprised to find this. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The portion sizes for lunch were great and filling for the price. I tried the Beef Shawarma bowl which comes with the basmati rice and salad which was so delicious and my husband tried the Beef Shawarma wrap. The wrap comes with different sides and my husband chose the hummus. All fresh food and ingredients. Both so filling and cooked perfectly to make the meat tender. We also tried the eclair and pistachio baklava which are not pictured. Great options for dessert if you have a sweet tooth! If you’re new to the area or are stopping by town and are looking for cultural flavors Cafe Ostro is our #1 recommendation. Check this place out.

The food is awesome! Second favorite Mediterranean food we have ever eaten and it's in our own backyard instead of having to fly to St. Martin Island. We have eaten here twice and will be back. We have the kabob sampler for two each time and haven't been disappointed. We will be ordering that again.

The food here was pretty good. The hummus and falafel wasn’t bad but not great, but I might be biased as I’m middle eastern from Chicago where we have some of the best Mediterranean food. The lamb was tender and flavorful and the chicken was soft and went very well with the sauce. Biggest complaint was the portion size was pretty small for the price. I’ll definitely be back here on my next trip to Dalton

Amazing Mediterranean place In Dalton GA.

My Go to is the chicken shawarma plate or chicken kabob plate. Their Hummus and garlic sauce are out of this world.

Very friendly on the pocket and Value for money.

Their Saturday Family week which a to go option is Fantastic value for 40$ and lot of food.

Came in with a large group on a Saturday afternoon. We were in town for the weekend and decided to try this place out. There were 9 of us but our food came out hot and fresh in less than ten minutes. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

We went to a fantastic place today with delicious food. It's a great spot for families, and we felt really comfortable exploring the area after enjoying a delightful meal. The service staff were very understanding. If you're up for trying something different, be sure to check it out!
