I have to say, the staff here truly love what they do and are so passionate about it. My labor was a hard labor, and still I felt so cared for!! The staff went above and beyond and were so empathetic to me. When all of my options ran out and I was in pain with bad contractions, my nurse and the person whom was in anesthesia wrapped me in their arms and rocked with me and prayed over me, hearing theirs whispers of prayers while they held me truly amazed me and will be something I will never forget. Even after my labor, in recovery the staff treated me as if I was the only patient in the building! Anything I needed I had it! They sent me off with so much advice and love and all the supplies I would need to get me through the first week with my baby! Anything I needed they made a way to provide! Even when I was loading up my baby the labor gift shop sent me off with beautiful baby balloons as a gift from them..I could not have asked for a more comfortable, loving and caring place to welcome my baby into the world.

My birthing experience did not go anything like I’d hoped and yet the the medical team that worked with me was so kind, empathetic, and there for me that I always felt taken care of! From the labor and delivery nurses, Leti and Mayra, to the postpartum nurses, Ashley and Brandi and a few others who I never caught there names but were so thoughtful about my baby’s and my care, I just can’t speak highly enough! Thank you!! Because of you all I’m home with a healthy baby boy 🥰

I am giving 5 stars because when I had my son i had 2 wonderful nurses but i also had a nurse that was extremely rude and I felt she was too rough with me on purpose. If your working in that profession you need to understand women come in there terrified and in pain they don't deserve to be treated ugly. Be kind to everyone please. Much respect to the nurses who have a sweet heart and soul i couldn't have made it through my induction process without you

I went into preterm labor at 33 weeks and 2 days due to preeclampsia and I have never been treated so horribly the entire time. I came in at 5am due to my water breaking and contractions were getting worse closer together they tried to stop my labor all together which they aren’t supposed to do after your water breaks, they then gave me a steroid shot to help my sons lungs develop faster, they failed to check to see if I was dilating or if my cervix was opening and kept turning me side to side to try to stop the contractions. They then asked if I drank or smoked during my pregnancy which I DID NOT and put on the report that I did. Was in labor for 6 hours and never checked on me till I screamed in pain that I was going to puke or poop and turns out I had hit 10 cm and was rushed to labor and delivery to which they asked had I been checked at all for dilation and I said the last time I was checked was 5am after they put a catheter in, I didn’t get an epidural due to their negligence. While pushing my son they had a midwife who had long fake nails on spreading me apart trying to make delivery go faster I was in so much pain from her nails, when she finally removed her fingers I pushed my son out with one push, they then tossed my son hard on to my stomach you could hear the plop from how hard the threw him on me. They then yanked my placenta out I didn’t deliver it naturally and stitched up where I tore. They then refused to get me a Coke or anything with sugar because my sugar was so low and I had gestational diabetes while pregnant I couldn’t even see the whole time I was delivering my son because it was so low I was uncontrollably shaking. The nicu was just as bad with my son, they weren’t properly cleaning him right and he got an E. coli infection and countless times I found my son covered in his spit up from them not properly burping him. He’s not had one spit up since being home from the nicu and when he was there and we fed him he never had one spit up. But we couldn’t always be there 24/7 because we work. Worst hospital I’ve ever been to and was treated so horribly the second I walked in. Please don’t go to this hospital to deliver your baby you’ll have a better chance at Erlanger east. Update: will be getting a lawyer involved due to all their negligence towards me

It’s a bit suspicious how most children born here have speech delays or ASD, and which has significantly increased over the last 10 years. With the conveniently, recently built, children’s institute right next to the hospital.

I have delivered at 3 different hospitals and never experience the lack of care or medical treatment like this hospital. I will be seeking legal actions as I do not wish what happened to my daughter on anyone.
