The owner/Chef came out to talk to all his guests. The portions were perfect and so was the food. My wife got a 4 cheese grilled cheese and tomato basil soup was so rich and creamy. My mother in law got a Philly cheese steak that she absolutely loved. Our friend got cranberry bread for her chicken salad. It is an hour drive for us and we will come back again. We love supporting the farm to the table.

Simply GOOD! We will be back!

Great casual atmosphere with a warm, friendly welcome. The food was so fast, tasty and beautiful, I almost forgot to photograph it. Alpena was a perfect waitress 🩷
Live music is on the weekends. We really need that in the area. It is such a nice town that has big love for the owner who deserves every ounce ❣

The food here is very good and worth going to enjoy. The owner is incredibly friendly and outgoing making this feel more like your neighbors house than a restaurant. The waitress was friendly as well but seemed preoccupied, not sure if this is normal since we have only been a few times, but definitely affected the speed of the service. The only complaint was the strong smell of cleaning solution in the second part of the restaurant. We asked to be moved and was accommodated so that was great, but if they didn't have an inside table this would definitely cause an issue with our meal. Being picky the floors were very sticky outside as well. Almost reminiscent of my days working in a kitchen with grease on the floors from cooking. But again that is me being picky, does not affect the rest of this great experience. Every place has room for improvement but for this place it isn't the food, it is fantastic as is

Delicious food! Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes appetizers. The steak sub was amazing and the fries have such a great taste with the seasoning. We cannot wait to go back.

This local restaurant was established a while back but I never had time to stop in and try it. While stopping at a few other businesses I decided it was time to get the hang together and give them a shot. Expect to spend about $10 a person but the plates are large and filled with food.

My first time here and it won't be my last. The restaurant has an awesome design and good atmosphere. Ordered the spicy BBQ jalapeño burger and it was great. Rosemary fries were tasty too. Got to meet the owner Darryl and he was super friendly. You can tell he cares about the customer and his craft. Highly recommend stopping here for some quality food. Also order the chocolate peanut butter pie... it will make you want to slap your grandma

Awesome restaurant! Food is fabulous and service was spectacular. I was part of a large party, about 17, and Food came out very, very quick. Like minutes, literally, after waitress finished taking orders!! Highly recommend.....!

Such a cute restaurant, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! The food was absolutely delicious! My husband, son, and I had a wonderful dining experience here!

Great place to eat. All the sandwich’s are fantastic. Service is always great. Great place to eat in the Vass and Southern Pines area.

Food was amazing so was the service, gave the 25% tip because of how good it was. Food was so cheap, honestly was shocked as I expected it to be over 50+ dollars! We got over 5 things! Will go there again!!

Came all the way from Alamance County. Amazing food, amazing prices, and amazing service. Highly recommend. Will definitely be coming back !

Absolutely amazing place, exactly what I needed. I stopped in for breakfast and the breakfast bowl was delicious and a great amount of food. Staff was all friendly and efficient. This place definitely deserves the awards they have received.
